Dissident Music presents Timeblind / 1016 Miles, the latest offering from label boss Noel Sanger, featuring two deeply personal cuts that explore the emotive edge of breakbeat-driven electronica. Known for his long-standing presence in progressive and melodic electronic music—as both a producer and curator—Noel continues to refine a sound that balances atmosphere, rhythm, and storytelling. With Timeblind and 1016 Miles, he delivers a focused two-track release that feels both introspective and dance floor-aware. The title track, Timeblind, leans into raw, electro-tinged breakbeats, driven by deep, intricate drum programming and a brooding Reese bassline. A haunting Indian sarangi weaves through the arrangement, adding a distinct emotional resonance alongside detuned synth textures. On the flip side, 1016 Miles takes a more melodic approach—building tension through pulsing bass and bubbling 303 lines before opening into a luminous release, with expressive plucked melodies that give the track a sense of movement and emotional lift.
