Always at the vanguard of modern dance music, "Convergence" finds Mango Alley moving toward a new singularity. Melding diverse ribbons of music into a collective woven strand, a new project brings together a collection of the finest underground house, curated by the scene's most important tastemakers, channels and influential voices. Where the confluence of music and mind emerge, a powerful new force flows from within to create a vortex of sonic patterns that reach the very core of progressive music's ineffable quality. Convergence 002 by EMERGE — A Compilation Built on Trust, Passion & Collaboration From the night sky a new dawn rises over the horizon. Emerging bright and clear, a golden thread weaves across the preeminent industrial heartland of Glasgow. A tapestry of cutting-edge electronic music transforms the cityscape with a global community of underground giants. This is more than just a music release. It's a gathering of artists who share a thread that leads back to Glasgow and to Graham, whose friendships, late‑night conversations, dancefloor memories and decades of club culture stewardship have quietly woven this community together. Every artist involved — whether a global icon or a rising star — has a story that intersects with this city and its people. EMERGE is a tribute to the legendary names that have graced a cosmopolitan skyline. From the clouds below a Clyde sunset, the moon lights the way across a diluted ink black sky where charting a path from Scotland to Europe and South America to Australia, finds a trinity of Steven McCreery, Kit Lawson and Gowzer at the heart of a bright and vivid constellation that can be seen the world over. Projecting outwards, a galaxy of leading lights in the underground firmament radiate sonic waves as Hernán Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa, Dave Seaman & Danny Howells sit alongside a new breed of iridescent stars that has seen GMJ & Matter, Dmitry Molosh, Just Her and HAFT spark new connections and friendships.

Selador Electronica
If you've been lucky enough to hear Dave play live recently, you will have heard an old favourite tune enthusiastically pulling back the curtains, blinking at the sun, having a good stretch, and returning to the fray for '26 in majestic, remixed fashion. Yes, the much-loved 'Nightfalls' is back.\n\nDave's love affair with the haunting vocal refrain ("And at sunrise / And at sunset / But when night falls / the music") from The Ananda Project's 'Cascades of Colour' has lasted for a quarter of a century, initially as a centrepiece of his much-loved Cape Town mix for Global Underground from 2000.\n\nIn 2016, appreciative of the exposure Dave had given their track, The Ananda Project returned the favour, giving Dave sample clearance to use the vocal – and 'Nightfalls' was born, making a right noise all its own as Selador's 50th release.\n\nAnd now…that haunting yet uplifting, inescapable vocal hook is back, with a re-fashioned 'Nightfalls' a focal point of Dave's eagerly anticipated album. Dave has, of course, recorded a new version himself – deep, breaks-driven, chilled yet ever so slightly menacing.\n\nA trio of handpicked remixers bring us glorious variety with their reinterpretations.\n\nElif's seriously atmospheric take guarantees transcendental dancefloor epiphanies.\n\nDilby's heads down throbber is pure energy, the vocal atop a sumptuous sonic stew.\n\nCioz is pure melodic wonk, a funky piano line underpinning a riot of riffs.\n\nTeam Selador – Night People

In the notoriously fast-moving world of music, such longevity can be hard to find, especially in an era of short attention spans and soundbite culture. It thus only seems right and proper to hail Dave Seaman, Steve Parry and their Selador imprint for reaching its 200th release. To put that into some sort of context, that's way more music than the two previous era-defining labels Dave was involved with, Stress in the 90s and Audio Therapy in the 00s, combined. The 12 years Steve has spent co-helming Selador eclipses the time he spent front and centre at the legendarily influential 3 Beat store. All this at a time when the music marketplace has never been more saturated or harder to navigate in the quest to gain visibility for music you believe in. Steve & Dave don't need to do this. Both well into their fourth decade in the acid house trenches, each possesses an impressive CV, and is not short of work. But nothing drives these two electronic music titans more than the search for new music, the buzz of hearing something special for the first time, and the hunger to help bring it into the world, nurture its development, and share it with as many like-minded souls as possible. Selador has proved to be a significant player in terms of sourcing and developing new talent in the arena they dub "house, techno and all flavours in between", as is shown across those 200 releases. It has also proved to be a trusty vehicle for Steve and Dave to release many of their own productions, the benchmark set by their peers on the label roster driving the duo to ever greater heights. It is thus fitting that the 200th Release Project features 12 brand new and exclusive remixes courtesy of friends old and new, all of whom have reworked some of the bosses' classic productions. Spread across three thrilling 4 track EPs released throughout August 2025, this celebratory collection brings together an array of talent from around the world covering a multitude of genres within the electronic club realm.
