This EP marks the coming together of two of the most respected, influential titans in progressive House; Jamie Stevens and Guy J. Jamie is smoking hot off the back of a highly acclaimed, praised and loved debut album, select apppeareacnes live with names like Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J & Anthony pappa and a no.1 Ep on Bedrock. Guy J just delivered arguably one of the greatest Global Underground mixes yet as well as some of last years most talked about singles with several hitting Beatports top spots coupled with incredible shows reaching massive audiences and stages around the globe. The original mixes experiment with dark and light forces jostling with a beautiful yearning vocal. A musical piece that shows patience and restraint with trippy time signatures, bleeps, atmosphere, distinct breaks and dreamy vocals drawing you deeper and washing over you like a reassuring whisper from a loved one. Jamie has long operated in the space between club functionality and emotional depth, and here he leans heavy into that tension, never fully resolving, always pulling the listener forward. Tassolem’ gets a club-ready super highly anticipated remix by Guy J who delivers a masterpiece completely re-envisioning one of his favourite producers, very intentionally selecting a track with clear hallmarks of musical integrity and special ingredients. Guy takes a number of magical core elements from the original and layers subtle beautiful, shifting textures over deep melodics building steady momentum that is felt subtly as its story unravels rather than heard quickly.
