Configuring Notifications

Set up email alerts so you're notified the moment your music appears on a chart.

Prerequisites

To use notifications, you need:

  • A verified BeatTracker account
  • An active paid subscription (see pricing)

Adding a tracked item

From your Notifications dashboard, you can add items to track. Each tracked item can be:

  • An artist name — We'll match it against Beatport and Spotify artist listings
  • A label name — Track all releases under a specific label
  • A direct URL — Paste a Beatport or Spotify artist/label URL for an exact match

Your subscription allows up to 5 tracked items. You can add, remove, and replace them at any time.

How alerts work

BeatTracker scans all charts daily. When we detect that one of your tracked artists or labels has appeared on a chart, we send you an email notification with:

  • The artist or label name
  • The chart type (Top 100, Staff Picks, Banner, etc.)
  • The genre and position
  • A direct link to the chart on BeatTracker

Notifications are sent once per chart appearance — you won't receive duplicates for the same placement.

Managing your notifications

You can manage your tracked items at any time:

  • Remove a tracked item — Click the delete button next to any item in your notifications dashboard
  • Replace a tracked item — Remove one and add another to stay within your 5-item limit

Unsubscribing from emails

Every notification email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it will disable email alerts for that specific tracked item. You can re-enable notifications from your dashboard at any time.

Unsubscribing from email notifications does not cancel your paid subscription.
