Movement Limited presents a new progressive house release as Tim French and Pilch come together for Nova Albion, accompanied by a remix from Aubrey Fry. The original version of Nova Albion sees Tim French and Pilch combining their shared love for classic progressive sensibilities with a modern, forward thinking edge. Built around a warm and driving groove, the track unfolds patiently, allowing evolving synth layers, subtle textures and melodic movement to shape a journey that feels both timeless and contemporary. A solid low end anchors the arrangement while atmospheric elements and carefully placed effects guide the narrative toward a hypnotic and emotionally charged progression, making Nova Albion equally effective for late night dancefloors and deeper listening moments. Tim French is a British DJ and producer based in the South West of the UK, with roots firmly planted in the nineties progressive club scene. Drawing inspiration from classic hardware driven sounds, his productions reflect a deep understanding of groove, structure and emotional flow. With releases on respected imprints such as Sudbeat Music, The Soundgarden and Music To Die For, Tim continues to refine a sound that bridges the foundations of progressive house with a contemporary sensibility. Pilch is a UK based producer from Devon whose music blends dark atmospheres with melodic drive, firmly rooted in progressive house. Known for crafting immersive and cinematic soundscapes, his productions balance hypnotic rhythms with detailed textures and subtle melodic development. With releases across labels including The Soundgarden, Blue Magenta, Pro B Tech Music, Melodic Beats Recordings and Mistique Music, Pilch has built a reputation for delivering music that resonates across both club environments and deeper listening spaces. The remix comes courtesy of Aubrey Fry, who delivers a confident and refined reinterpretation. Taking a slightly darker and more expansive approach, the remix leans into rolling rhythms, detailed percussion and a deeper harmonic palette. The original themes are reshaped with precision, creating added tension and release while maintaining a strong sense of flow. Aubrey Frys version adds a powerful alternative perspective, designed for peak time moments while preserving the progressive spirit of the original. Aubrey Fry is a highly respected figure within the global progressive and electronic music scene, with releases on influential labels such as Last Night On Earth, Bedrock Records, Balance Music, Sudbeat Music and Mango Alley. Renowned for both his studio work and dynamic DJ sets, he has shared stages with artists including John Digweed, Sasha, Dave Clarke, Jody Wisternoff and Guy J. His contribution to Nova Albion brings a seasoned and distinctive touch, rounding out the release with depth and authority. Nova Albion stands as a focused and elegant collaboration, uniting three distinctive artistic voices in a release that reflects Movement Limiteds ongoing commitment to quality, depth and progressive musical storytelling.
Pete B & Rianu Keevs got 2025 started in superb style last year so it's great to have them back early doors for 2026. Seclusion is a trippy and atmospheric progressive groover. The ever reliable Doug Crawford has delivered a dark and long (not related) epic remix. Erik Bruce makes a welcome return after his solo debut last year with the breaks take for this release.

Legendary Swiss DJ/producer Deetron serves up the second release on Mutual Rytm Raw in true old school style, delivering a trio of cuts for all hours of the night. Deetron is a venerated veteran who has been crafting sublime house and techno for three decades on a range of influential labels. 2025 brought another busy year for him, with another standout EP on Ilian Tape followed by his latest album which landed via Running Back in October. Back in 2024, he dropped his Translate Rhythms EP on Mutual Rytms X series and now takes charge of the second release on SHDWs new sub-label Mutual Rytm Raw - following the first 12 You And Me, which was a true summer anthem courtesy of KiNK & Raredub. In its original form, the bright, expressive Flow is a fulsome techno cut that pairs a driving rhythm with sophisticated synths. It sparkles with cosmic energy, while a textured, screwy lead winds through the mix and euphoric female vocals burst out to big emotional reactions. The Chord Dub is a tight, bouncy rework with vamping chords lighting up the drums with real warmth and soul, while the Breakbeat Mix fizzes with rich, old school energy. The dusty breakbeats demand physical reactions, while the pads bring a grand sense of scale and the vocals tug at the heart. All three are classy, effective and offer yet more timeless sounds.
Euphonic Records proudly presents DRIFT, the new full-length album from John Grand, arriving January 2026. Written over the course of eighteen months, DRIFT captures the creative world John enters when producing, a place where ideas move freely and direction is found through instinct rather than force. The title reflects this process. John drifts through melodies, textures, and emotions until they begin to shape themselves, allowing each track to emerge naturally. This mindset became the heart of the album, resulting in a collection of music that flows with clarity, purpose, and emotional weight. John Grand has steadily built a strong presence within the progressive and trance landscape, known for his detailed sound design, driving grooves, and the melodic touch that defines his work. His relationship with Euphonic continues to deepen, and DRIFT stands as his most complete artistic statement to date. Musically, the album spans energetic progressive rhythms, uplifting trance moments, and the atmospheric depth that has become central to his style. Each track reflects a stage in his journey, shaped by long studio nights, personal shifts, and the evolving flow of life over the last year and a half. DRIFT invites listeners into that same creative motion, offering an immersive experience built on emotion, movement, and the natural pull of sound.

DYSTORTION Extrawelts Latest and Longest-Brewing Album Lands This December on Cocoon In this beautiful world marked by rising chaos, sometimes the simplest way to escape its troubles is through sonic relief. Germanys renowned electronic duo Extrawelt will offer exactly that with their 5th full-length album, DYSTORTION, via Cocoon Recordings this December. For over two decades, the humble duo behind Extrawelt, who shy away from making music for clicks, have been a steadfast presence in electronic music. Known as serious studio and tour-focused artists who craft timepiece albums, each a work of enduring craft, that go on to create atmospheric, out-of-the-box live acts, theyve been shaping and redefining electronica since their first release. DYSTORTION is their most diverse and evocative album to date. Imagined over six years and shaped by a world in flux through COVID, political upheavals, social media, and AI, it reflects the contrasts and twists weve all felt while offering surges of serenity and hope. From brooding tension to playful relief, it moves through different states in an evolved Extrawelt manner. The albums opening credit, Grand Départ, as if a cinematic prelude, invites us into a world of creeping bass, an explicitly Extrawelt sound thats synonymous with the anti-genre genre they work within. The albums second track, Clapland, sees Extrawelt joining forces with Jimi Jules, a name synonymous with excellence in electronic music, creating a rare collaboration that is felt in every note. Soon, the mood shifts into softer melodies as heard in Surrounded By Miracles, Hope Sounds Good, and Sir Stringalot, which bring bright euphorics to balance the darker moments in an album echoed by industrial influences. Later, as Dystortion (the albums title track) unfolds, were drawn into something few electronic artists can create: raw emotion. This is a gritty landscape as reflective as it is pulsing, glitchy, intense, and richly textured. DYSTORTION is a reflection of a complex, divided world, carried through dramatically with Extrawelts signature techno tension. Like the world right now, it is full of contradictions, surprises, and moments of introspection, an essential listen for fans of mature electronic music that may or may not need a reminder of why, after 20 years, were still listening.

Making a welcome return to the Proton Music catalogue, Luis León and Unseener are joined by the multi-talented Eleonora as they showcase BTG. A single remix comes from iconic figures, Gai Barone and Luke Brancaccio. Renowned figures within the underground dance fraternity, Luis León and Oscar Paredes (aka Unseener) have been at the vanguard of the Progressive House scene with a series of highly polished productions for some of the most illustrious independent labels. From Manjumasi to Oleeva Records and Nie Wieder Schlafen to Lenfant terrible, almost 300 credits have shone a powerful light over their talent, including a century on Luis own Blankhaus Music. Proton Music has also played a part in that success, not least with the Concorde EP in April 2024. A howitzer of a release with remixes from Petar Dundov and Juan Deminicis, Luis León and Unseener return to Proton alongside the vocal talents of Berlin-based, Eleonora. Widely regarded as one of the most important female producers in the underground dance scene, her production work and vocal talent have graced a slew of A-list imprints including Anjunabeats, KATTERMUKKE and Get Physical Records. Making their collective debut, BTG is a superbly crafted breakbeat extravaganza with superlatively spaced bassline groove and delicate melodic progression. Eleonoras vocals quickly add to the sonic collage in bouncing waves of joy and infectious playful quality. Developing easily over its 4-minute timeframe, the track is a breath of fresh air in a world where a touch of sonic joy goes a long way. Gai Barone & Luke Brancaccio need little introduction to the Progressive House faithful. Both formidable producers in their own rights with a list of credits that totals nearly 1000 between them, their work in solo and collaborative guises for some of the most important underground imprints, has been seen regularly on the likes of Bedrock, Sprout, Renaissance, Balance Music and Lost & Found. A remix of dernis, the kid in mid-2024 marked a Proton Music debut, while the Got to Get it Started EP in July 2025 showcased an original track of the highest order, alongside remixes from Orsen and Michael A. Now returning with a second remix, the Gai Barone & Luke Brancaccio remix is a stunning interpretation that evolves effortlessly over its near 9-minute timeframe with a subtle tribal beat and swathe of stereo-panned effects. Before long, Eleonoras vocals appear front and centre as they float across the deep rhythmic textures. Hitting another level at the breakdown, the introduction of a devastating synth pattern elevates the track further still as it builds in relentless fashion. Dropping into a rousing finale, a hypnotic synth cadence and Eleonoras vocals combine with Luis and Unseeners original elements to create a masterpiece of modern Progressive House. Another gold standard, Luis León, Unseener and Eleonora have mined a powerful piece of electronic music in BTG, further bejewelled by Gai Barone & Luke Brancaccios 24-carat interpretation. Cass and Baunder drop some serious heat with fresh remixes of Danny Tenaglia x Cass & Slides iconic Fever Rising. Originally crafted by the legendary Danny Tenaglia and released on Cass and Lee Burridges FIRE Recordings back in 2001, Fever Rising stood tall as one of the defining tracks of progressive houses golden era. A dance floor weapon supported by heavyweights like Sasha, John Digweed, and Tenaglia himself, its tough drums and dark sonics perfectly embodied the underground spirit that ruled the clubs of that time. First up, the ever-reliable Baunder injects his trademark silky grooves into this classic, updating the drums without losing that tribal essence. Playful melodics weave around the hypnotic vocal, creating a timeless blend of energy and emotion. Next, Cass Cutbush steps in with two fresh versions. His 4by4 mix channels the raw drive of early-2000s prog, with subtle shifts and an epic main break that pays homage to the scene he helped shape. On the breakbeat version, Cass explores a more emotional side wistful, hopeful, and beautifully melancholic.
