Audiovoid kicked off 2025 with his epic 15 track album Down With It, the album was well received and gained praise and features on sites like Hearditherefirst, Visual Atelier 8, Beat For Beat, Cosmonautaradio, Zona Emergente and Grauu and a wide range DJ support. He has followed it with an epic series of singles that have been melting minds as they get heard. North is a more brooding sort if tune, tough, heavy bass and the kind of sound design we have come to expect from Audiovoid. Slightly industrial, slightly robotic and tough as nails. Previously receiving praise for his productions from the likes of Tipper, Si Begg & Brendan Angelides (ESKMO / Welder) and in the early 2ks, featured in Big Shot Magazine, and had comparisons to heady producers like Neil Landstrumm, Ital Tek and Andy Page. Hes been featured on labels IOT Records, Addictech, IVDT, MDEX, Crunch Pod, Cyberset, Psyber Tribe, Mechanismz and of course Muti Music.

One of dubsteps more influential founding figures, Mala, returns with Magugu on DEEP MEDi MUSIK with a release that has been circulating as a mystery dub amongst their closest confidants this summer in different spaces; whether it was Mala himself at Houghton, Skream in Ibiza, Sir Spyro shelling in heads down club space across to Four Tet laying bass weight on 80,000 ravers at HARD Fest in Hollywood. The /r track IDs requests and comments to release the tune made Malas first new release in 4 years inevitable. Mala and Magugu have always prioritised quality over quantity, creating a scarcity for new work that makes it extra special. Malas last release was 2022s A Way Back EP with Ezra Collective keys player Joe Armon-Jones. A repress of his 2007s masterpiece Changes broke prepress records for MEDi at the end of 2024, a year that saw the label win the UK label of the year at the DJ Mag Awards. For new fans and old fans of the original gestures of Anti War Dub era DMZ, this is mana from heaven, a righteous work from one of the genres South London founders. In recent years Mala has made original music for Greentea Peng, Tikiman, and remixes for Nina Kraviz, Jorja Smith, Nightmares on Wax. Dubstep & Dubplate culture in full effect !
