Deadbeats

Serial Killaz have been at the very forefront of modern jungle drum 'n' bass since they first appeared on the scene. And, even though they've contributed tunes and mixes to 'Welcome to the Jungle' albums before, they're about to get to curate their own collection for the first time. This is a special occasion. So, the first original single from the compilation is clearly a big deal. And, with Killa P on the mic with a clash mentality, dramatic gangsta brass stabs, and addictive basslines keeping the dance bubbling, this edition of 'Welcome to the Jungle' is clearly about to live up to the hype. Deadbeats

Fast-rising 140 heavyweight CONTRA returns to DDD with his highly anticipated debut EP on the label, Nirali.\n\nFollowing two massive dual-track singles over the past year, the Canadian producer dials up the intensity across five masterclasses in modern dubstep - proving precisely why he's regarded as one of the most exciting talents in the scene. \n\nThe package seamlessly pairs CONTRA's signature world-music influences with chest-rattling sub-bass, quirky sound design, and pounding, finely tuned percussion - including a vocal feature from the UK don, Killa P.\n\nLeading the charge is the collaborative single with Chef Boyarbeatz, marking one of his final releases under the Chef moniker (more on that soon...). 'No Worries If Not' is a swampy, wub-fueled 140 slapper - murky, menacing, and downright malicious for sound systems and dancefloors alike. \n\nA tension-filled, discordant guitar riff sets the stage before detonating into a groove-laden, stomping wobble fest that captures both producers at the top of their game. The second drop is, frankly, absurd.\n\nYou're not ready for the Nirali EP-and CONTRA is only getting started.
