Madder than a robotic dog infected with the latest computer virus - fast-rising New Zealand production wizkid Kyber is here with Relentless - a tune so intense and pummelling it makes five rounds with Paddy the Baddy seem like a birthday present. 2026's answer to Coki's Goblin, this one will leave you dumbfounded, discombobulated and disenfranchised; questioning the meaning of it all. Relentless is the only adjective that fits. Kyber = Relentless.
Following his last extended body of work Entanglements, Alix Perez taps into slower tempos for his new mini LP Sabotage. This record focuses on the 130-140 bpm realm, featuring collaborations with SP:MC, Trim, Cesco & Hijinx. From light to dark, Alix further explores his penchant for that world of music.
4 Focus marks the second release from Cimm and Neffa-T on Data Stream, and the first to land digitally. Mob Killa distills pressure and experimentation on new 'Misericorde' EP for Chestplate Records Chestplate Records returns with Misericorde, a two-track EP from Mob Killa that captures both the ruthless efficiency and left-field curiosity at the core of the label's ethos. Across two sharply contrasted cuts, Mob Killa explores minimalism, movement, and musical hybridity-resulting in a release that feels as much at home on a sound system as it does under close headphone scrutiny. The title track, 'Misericorde,' is a dark, evolving dubstep stomper built for maximum physical impact. Stripped of excess, the track leans into tension and space, allowing its low-end weight to breathe and mutate over time. Sub pressure rolls with intent, percussion lands with military precision, and subtle shifts in texture keep the energy in constant motion. It's a track designed to test rooms, rattle chests, and reward DJs who trust restraint as much as force. On the flip, 'Throwing Deck' reveals a different side of Mob Killa's production palette. A melting pot of jazz and dubstep influences, the track folds skippy, swung drums into brushed snare textures, creating a loose, elastic groove that feels both experimental and deeply musical. Jazz phrasing weaves through the rhythm section, giving the track a playful, almost improvised feel without sacrificing weight. It's a strikingly distinct piece that pushes beyond genre convention while remaining grounded in sound system culture. Together, the two tracks form a concise but deliberate statement. Misericorde isn't about maximalism-it's about control, contrast, and confidence. With this EP, Mob Killa reinforces his position as a producer unafraid to balance raw functionality with adventurous ideas, while Chestplate Records continues to carve its lane as a home for forward-thinking, uncompromising electronic music.
Following his debut standalone DDD single in 2025, now is the year in which we ask you to submit to the force of Breathworkz' beats for his debut DDD EP - Surrender. Cementing his place as one of the US' most prodigious production talents coming through the North American scene - Surrender EP demands precedence, and it's not going to ask politely. Across the four tunes, Breathworkz penchant for brooding, sultry, sub-drenched beats is in overdrive - as desert-like soundscapes are matched with crisp beats and Asian influenced melodic inflections - stifling, suffocating but ultimately satisfying. Originating from Florida's vibrant underground scene via Denver, Surrender EP proves that this is a producer carving his own path in the deepest, darkest and most dangerous 140 dubstep tradition. Ready to Surrender? Breathworkz' EP is about to leave you breathless. Don't disobey.
Pairing the UK's hypest hype man Snowy with DDD bossmen Truth was always gonna cause damage, but with Fuck What U Heard the combo have created a volatile fuck off bomb, detonating any rave into oblivion, point blank. Truth's heavyweight production fuses grime and dubstep - with sinister soundscapes accompanying slapping percussion and hard hitting distorted 808s, creating the post-apocalyptic sonic palette for Snowy to run riot spraying relentlessly with his trademark energy and flow - to savage effect. Fuck What U Heard and listen to this - Truth and Snowy aren't for waiting. Real leaders don't fuck with the heard.
Boka Records kicks off 2026 by welcoming Echoboy for his debut on the label. An artist we have appreciated for some time, coming with a style and sound that has been fairly under-represented on the label for the most part. EchoBoy is a project established by Adam from Riddim Tuffa, one of the pioneers of 80's Digital Reggae revival scene. Whilst still in the Jamaican reggae style, EchoBoy is more focused on the darker side of dub, drawing his influence from the current sound of electronic music. His vision is to create a unique combination of different music genres with strong accent on a sub bass freq.
