The world has had an inauspicious start to 2026, which only strengthens our resolve here at Selador HQ to be in the vanguard of the cultural fightback, using the power of music to unite, and promote love and empathy. Our boss men have this in their DNA, having been fighting the good fight for several decades – so it seems only fitting that we kick off our new year schedule with this double header, one sonically seismic cut from each of our beloved team leaders. Freeze sees Steve pick up where he left off after an epic 2025. The title is a dedication to Rob Casson, promoter of the Freeze club events in Liverpool for whom Steve played on numerous occasions, and who sadly passed away last year way too young. Steve does Robs memory proud courtesy of an uplifting throbber which turns the energy levels up to 11, building its way to a euphoric breakdown which ushers in a peak time finale. Dave, similarly on a roll in 25 and with a massive 26 already shaping up, weighs in with a monster in the shape of the Ego Savvy, a seductive vocal enticing us to come on in against a musical backdrop which echoes the darker side of classic early Chicago house with its combo of brooding bassline, undeniably funky percussion and swaggering riffage. Team Selador – still savvy.
Starting the new year with a bang, GMJ & Matter return to their renowned Meanwhile imprint with another sumptuous twin-track EP, courtesy of Cryo / Keepers. 2025 was yet another year to remember for GMJ & Matter. From gigs across their native Australian homeland, to Skyline Glasgow, Balance Croatia and Prague, to another sold out Meanwhile showcase in conjunction with Vapour Records at Club Akhnaton for ADE, the duos tour schedule has racked up the air miles and lit up clubs and festivals across the globe. In tandem, their production output has shone equally brightly with Telomeres on Meanwhile in March 2025, the Apex / Undergrowth EP on Kasey Taylors Vapour in May, Aprils stunning Voyage Austral with Pole Folder on All Day I Dream and the vibrant Red Sky on Balance Music in July. Remixes for Mango Alley, Songspire Records and Sirup Music have continued to provide an iridescent aura over the duos increasingly sought-after remix work. Opener, Cryo, bristles with bassline brio as a pulsating sub hits the listener square in the chest. A fizzing percussion adds urgency, and a thumping beat provides dancefloor energy. Evolving easily through its phases, a glorious analogue synth cuts across the mix like a hot knife through butter, coming to fore at the mid-point break. Hitting its straps in the second half, the combination of rhythm, bass and melody combine in a magical alchemy that transcends the Progressive House genre. Keepers continues the club-friendly vibe with a rolling percussive groove and sumptuously filtered pads. Using syncopated elements to devastating effect, a subtle motif adds vibrancy before a generous, free-flowing synth creates a mystical dynamism redolent in delays and reverb that percolate throughout the mix. Never dropping in pace, rising tension is created using snare rolls, before the energy is dissipated in a powerful drop that illustrates bassline bravado juxtaposed against melodic charm. Cryo / Keepers once again demonstrates GMJ & Matters unerring ability to create sparkling musical gems, frozen within a timeless rhythmic milieu. Directed by GMJ & Matter Mastered by Cid Inc. Each track stands as its own autonomous universe, with high levels of detail, refined sound design, and a compositional approach that goes beyond function to become timeless art. Macula is a melodic and dreamlike experience, unfolding through harmonic, immersive layers that evoke a luminous, ethereal nostalgia. Legendary Swiss DJ/producer Deetron serves up the second release on Mutual Rytm Raw in true old school style, delivering a trio of cuts for all hours of the night. Deetron is a venerated veteran who has been crafting sublime house and techno for three decades on a range of influential labels. 2025 brought another busy year for him, with another standout EP on Ilian Tape followed by his latest album which landed via Running Back in October. Back in 2024, he dropped his Translate Rhythms EP on Mutual Rytms X series and now takes charge of the second release on SHDWs new sub-label Mutual Rytm Raw - following the first 12 You And Me, which was a true summer anthem courtesy of KiNK & Raredub. In its original form, the bright, expressive Flow is a fulsome techno cut that pairs a driving rhythm with sophisticated synths. It sparkles with cosmic energy, while a textured, screwy lead winds through the mix and euphoric female vocals burst out to big emotional reactions. The Chord Dub is a tight, bouncy rework with vamping chords lighting up the drums with real warmth and soul, while the Breakbeat Mix fizzes with rich, old school energy. The dusty breakbeats demand physical reactions, while the pads bring a grand sense of scale and the vocals tug at the heart. All three are classy, effective and offer yet more timeless sounds.
Emerging from the depths of the underground, this three-track EP delivers a shadow-drenched blend of driving grooves and hypnotic atmospheres. Each track pushes forward with a dark progressive energy built for late-night dancefloors — pulsating basslines, evolving synth textures, and tension-filled breaks that keep the momentum alive. Designed for DJs and club-goers alike, the EP captures the essence of a deep, immersive journey, balancing melodic subtlety with raw, forward-leaning power. A cohesive and impactful release, perfect for peak-time sets and after-hours exploration.
A few collaborations between Workover and Vakabular have already shaped the sound of recent years. This time he teams up with Vladis Cue — a fresh breeze in Indie Dance. Together they deliver two strong dancefloor cuts, wrapped with a smooth and timeless remix from Ilias Katelanos.

The title reflects this process. John drifts through melodies, textures, and emotions until they begin to shape themselves, allowing each track to emerge naturally. This mindset became the heart of the album, resulting in a collection of music that flows with clarity, purpose, and emotional weight. John Grand has steadily built a strong presence within the progressive and trance landscape, known for his detailed sound design, driving grooves, and the melodic touch that defines his work. His relationship with Euphonic continues to deepen, and DRIFT stands as his most complete artistic statement to date. Musically, the album spans energetic progressive rhythms, uplifting trance moments, and the atmospheric depth that has become central to his style. Each track reflects a stage in his journey, shaped by long studio nights, personal shifts, and the evolving flow of life over the last year and a half. DRIFT invites listeners into that same creative motion, offering an immersive experience built on emotion, movement, and the natural pull of sound.

Movement Recordings delivers its second release of the year with a new EP from label regular Alfonso Muchacho, titled No More Stories, featuring two original tracks alongside remixes from Sonic Union and Alan Cerra. The title track No More Stories opens the release with Alfonso Muchacho showcasing his refined approach to modern progressive house. Built around a driving rhythmic foundation and warm low end, the track evolves through layered percussion, subtle melodic movement and carefully sculpted atmospheres. The arrangement unfolds with patience and purpose, balancing tension and release while maintaining a hypnotic flow designed for late night dancefloors and immersive listening alike. Sonic Union steps in for remix duties on No More Stories, delivering a deeper and more expansive reinterpretation. Drawing from his decades of experience within progressive house and melodic techno, the Swedish artist reshapes the original into a rolling, groove focused journey. Detailed percussion, fluid bass movement and spacious harmonic layers introduce a darker tone while preserving the emotional core of the original, resulting in a remix that feels both timeless and contemporary. Radiance continues the EP with a more uplifting and emotive direction. Alfonso Muchacho blends glowing melodic elements with crisp rhythmic structures, allowing the track to build organically while maintaining a strong sense of forward momentum. The evolving arrangement and warm tonal palette create a sense of optimism and depth, reinforcing Alfonsos ability to balance musicality with dancefloor functionality. Closing the release is a remix of Radiance from Alan Cerra, who returns to Movement Recordings as a familiar and trusted contributor. The Argentine artist introduces a groove driven interpretation, leaning into rolling basslines, hypnotic percussion and subtle melodic shifts. His version adds a darker edge while retaining the emotional resonance of the original, delivering a refined progressive rework that complements the EPs overall narrative. With No More Stories, Alfonso Muchacho delivers his fifth appearance on Movement Recordings, reaffirming his position as a core artist on the label. Supported by two carefully crafted remixes from Sonic Union and Alan Cerra, the EP stands as a cohesive and forward thinking progressive house release, continuing Movement Recordings commitment to quality, depth and dancefloor driven storytelling.

The twentieth tale of Ethereality is another double header from the combined forces of Northcat & Jakhira, backed by a deeper twist from Bjorn Salvador. Moog For Groove sets us off with smooth atmospherics, airy effects and punchy drums. Rolling bass and sweet riffs are joined by chopped vocal snippets, as the energy levels continue to rise. The breakdown introduces a searing synth lead and psychedelic electric guitar before the filters open up and build to an intense climax. Moon Is Blue mimics the ambient foundation of its predecessor but packs even more punch with smartly distorted percussion and a filthy bassline revealing a harder edge. Dark plucks and heavenly arpeggios pave the way to an early breakdown, where angelic vocals and piano chords provide the calm before the storm. Bjorn Salvador offers up a more organic rendition of Moog For Groove, adding tribal percussion and copious amounts of ear candy to the palate. The main melody is tactfully transformed into a low slung lament, with trademark slowly evolving pads and sultry chants completing the marvelous melange.
A subtle shift in tone changes the weight of everything. Emotion drifts in without asking, steady and precise. The past and present blur until only feeling remains. Each pause speaks louder than the rhythm itself. What stays with you was already there. We happily welcome Joaquín Salmain to Rude Resonance family.

https://www.instagram.com/nightcoloursrecordings/ 2026 starts with a bang as German duo Stil & Bense join the Nightcolours ranks. The pair are hugely respected with releases on luminary labels like Get Physical, Einmusika & Katermukke. Their sound is perfectly presented in Excuse, a groovy and pumping big room number with just the right amount of emotion. On remix duties Nightcolours core artist Zuccasam stamps his name all over the original. Bringing a much darker groove and turning the vocals into sinister snippet, this is a big track. Rounding things with a Nightcolours debut is Agustin Ficarra. An artist weve had our eye (and ears) on for a while, he brings a pumping atmospheric and uplifting take on the original which will have hands in the air. Stone Seed proudly presents Twotrunks, the first single from Doppels forthcoming album Harvest. Twotrunks is uncompromising. A grinding lead takes the foreground, balanced by bass and percussion that feel physical and alive. A high-impact track that demands tribal dancefloor moments. Sinking Kind shows a deeper angle from Doppel. Worldly percussion patterns and entrancing melodic fragments stretch and breathe, threading with his signature sound design on the drift downward. Tom Baker closes the package with a burly progressive rework. Doppels striking melodic stabs remain the centre, while the low-end leans toward that forest festival style and subtle psychedelic colour shapes the edges. As the opening glimpse of Doppels second full length album, Twotrunks signals the scope of the record and whats still to come.

Here comes the next one on Pro B., This time, we welcome back Doug Crawford with his EP Expectations. Joining Doug on remix duties, we have the absolute pleasure of having Forty Cats back, and for the first time, up fellow Scot and friend Selsi. Kicking things off is the original track from Doug. This one is a dark, tough animal of a track that hits hard; there is a dark, almost demonic vocal in the background with Acid lines that set the way for whats to come. Next up, we have the Forty Cats remix of Expectations. What we get here is a slight pace increase and darkness throughout, you feel and hear those acid lines, whilst the kick, bass really drive this one, a superb addition here. Next, we have the second of the originals from Doug, All in the Mind, this one lands into a more Progressive arena, and lands perfectly, again that signature solid tough kick really stands out, with a rumbling, deep bassline and that vocal that layers over just perfect, another great one here from Doug Finally, we have Selsi on remix duties. Selsi darkens it up a touch, and lifts that bassline from the original, pulling it forward, driving the track through its dark twists and turns, for sure one for those low ceilings, head down moments. All tracks, mixes here are outstanding, we love them and hope you will too. As always, your support is special and hugely appreciated Thanks Brent @PBTM
Run on Thoughts unfolds like an introspective voyage, subtle, emotional, and wrapped in a warm, evolving atmosphere that drifts between clarity and haze. Shell Robinson crafts a sonic space where deep grooves meet resonant melodies, turning inner thoughts into rhythm. The EP moves through layers of organic textures, hypnotic patterns, and heartfelt harmonies, each track feeling like another step down the corridors of consciousness. At times bright, at times shadowed, always alive.

We welcome another year of music and creativity delivering a sensational EP by young sensation Facundo Leiarz. Even if hes at the very early stage of his career, the Córdoba native has already impressed with releases on Renaissance, All Day I Dream, and Mango Alley. Following his appearance on Showcrates 15, this EP marks his first full release on the label and with high profile fans such as Hernán and Lee Burridge among his ranks, Facundo Leiarz has plenty of motivation and skills to be a guy to watch in the next years. Opening the EP with Humans Being Humans we are suitably introduced to Leiarz accomplished sound. Building slowly, the track takes shape organically, adding tension and pose, before dropping into a piano-centric encore. Next up, the subtle tribal grunt of Lets Turn Up takes it up notch or two. Aimed squarely at the pre-peak floors, this is Facundo in heads down and dance mood. Chunky drums, hypnotic rhythms and melodics whip up a storm. Finally, Tempting Things calms things off. Rubbery bass, sparse percussion and disco melodics take the finalé off on a wonderful, unexpected tangent.
