Warung Recordings presents the new EP from German artist Marc Lenz, delivering two cutting-edge tracks that blend groove, emotion, and club-ready energy. 'Voodooland' opens the release with a hypnotic fusion of tech house, deep, and progressive elements, driven by pulsating rhythms and an infectious vibe designed for peak-time moments. The second track dives deeper into soulful territory, embracing a refined deep house aesthetic and featuring a stunning vocal performance from acclaimed singer Cari Golden, adding texture, warmth, and timeless character to the release.
Making a powerful debut on Clubsonica Records in late 2024, Russian trio ELECGROUND now returns to the label with the imaginative "Ad Astra / Quasar". Finding their way onto such blue-chip imprints as Univack, MNL, and AH Digital after early work on D-Formation's BeatFreak Limited, the "Intergalactic | Humanity" EP on Juan Pablo Torrez's label was a notable highlight. Going on to remix Abity and Las Modas at the back end of 2025, ELECGROUND's new original EP sees the "Ad Astra" opener as a sparkling Progressive House gem that drives forward with a head-shaking groove and deep kick. Hypnotic motifs arrive courtesy of a syncopated synth riff and filtered arpeggio that cascades across the stripped-back breakdown. Counterpoint melodies emerge as the track builds once more into its second half, where the club-friendly rhythm and bassline groove combine with earlier melodics to dramatic effect. "Quasar" continues the deep rhythmic groove of its partner track as a gorgeously smooth percussive top line combines with a bassline progression from the heavens to create emotion aplenty. A bristling arpeggio adds to the vibrancy, reaching its zenith at the midpoint breakdown before snare rolls and white noise washes usher in a second half return of bass drive and flowing synth patterns. On remix duties, Polish-based Kostya Outta returns with a signature sound that has made him such a popular figure on leading imprints that include Mango Alley, Balkan Connection, UV and Replug. A significant force with support from the likes of Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn and Henry Saiz, a single remix for Clubsonica in late 2023 for CHRSTPHR is now joined by a second, as the Kostya Outta interpretation of "Ad Astra" takes on a typically high-energy approach with thumping kick and rapid-fire hi-hats. Building intelligently, thickly textured pads usher in a new melody that stems from themes resonant in ELECGROUND's original but takes on a different sound. Familiar arpeggiated synths make their presence felt at the midpoint as melodic components sit alongside the new refrains from Kostya's production craftsmanship. The result is a scintillating new version. A second remix comes from La Rioja-based artist Juan Ibanez. An accomplished artist on multiple fronts, his production work has found itself allied to onedotsixtwo, Proton Music, and Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, while DJ performances have witnessed gigs in Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Denmark, and Mexico. A multi-faceted artist, 2021's "Haumea" EP was a notable highlight on Clubsonica Records, while a pair of remixes in 2025 and 2026 are now followed by a third as the Argentinean takes on "Quasar". Maintaining a deep club-friendly groove and sub-bassline, additional production material can be found through a new stereo-panned motif that adds superb dynamism before a second complementary motif adds further color. The familiar bassline progression from the original makes its mark through the evolving track as pads and textures from ELECGROUND's work develop through the latter stages with effortless ease. Hobin Rude returns to Dreaming Awake with Oblique which was first featured on Dreaming Awakes ADE compilation in October 2025.
