Always at the vanguard of modern dance music, "Convergence" finds Mango Alley moving toward a new singularity. Melding diverse ribbons of music into a collective woven strand, a new project brings together a collection of the finest underground house, curated by the scene's most important tastemakers, channels and influential voices. Where the confluence of music and mind emerge, a powerful new force flows from within to create a vortex of sonic patterns that reach the very core of progressive music's ineffable quality. Convergence 002 by EMERGE — A Compilation Built on Trust, Passion & Collaboration From the night sky a new dawn rises over the horizon. Emerging bright and clear, a golden thread weaves across the preeminent industrial heartland of Glasgow. A tapestry of cutting-edge electronic music transforms the cityscape with a global community of underground giants. This is more than just a music release. It's a gathering of artists who share a thread that leads back to Glasgow and to Graham, whose friendships, late‑night conversations, dancefloor memories and decades of club culture stewardship have quietly woven this community together. Every artist involved — whether a global icon or a rising star — has a story that intersects with this city and its people. EMERGE is a tribute to the legendary names that have graced a cosmopolitan skyline. From the clouds below a Clyde sunset, the moon lights the way across a diluted ink black sky where charting a path from Scotland to Europe and South America to Australia, finds a trinity of Steven McCreery, Kit Lawson and Gowzer at the heart of a bright and vivid constellation that can be seen the world over. Projecting outwards, a galaxy of leading lights in the underground firmament radiate sonic waves as Hernán Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa, Dave Seaman & Danny Howells sit alongside a new breed of iridescent stars that has seen GMJ & Matter, Dmitry Molosh, Just Her and HAFT spark new connections and friendships.

    Stereo Underground

    Beatport Top Releases

A visionary artist with a unique sound, Stereo Underground makes his Meanwhile debut with a remarkable twin-track EP in the shape of "Souls from the Past / In the Middle of Everything". An iconic figure in the DJ and production spheres, Yariv Etzion has been a formidable figure in the world of modern Progressive House under his Stereo Underground moniker. Having performed in the company of John Digweed, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo and Lee Burridge, and co-founding the biggest music school in Israel through the BPM College, the Stereo Underground star burns brightly. Moreover, a production career that has amassed a double-century of credits has overseen a glittering array of releases for the likes of D-Nox's Sprout, Sasha's Last Night On Earth and Dave Seaman's Selador. Add to that a debut album in the shape of 2019's genre-defining "The Art of Silence" on Balance Music, a Beatport number one hit with D-Nox in "Dolby" and a global progressive anthem with "Flashes feat. Sealine", and it is not difficult to appreciate the Tel Aviv-based star's appeal. Now finding his way onto GMJ & Matter's leading imprint, "Souls from the Past" is a typically powerful and imaginative offering that drives relentlessly forward with hefty beat and off-beat hats. A sub-bass direct from the earth's core gradually filters into listener consciousness as an oscillated lead creates eerie tension. A magical counterpoint motif provides melodic harmony as the track explodes into life in trademark fashion with open-filtered glory and shimmering delays. Hitting its mark in the third movement, the track illustrates absolute mastery of a chosen craft. A clicking and popping percussive foundation forms the basis of partner track, "In the Middle of Everything" as it quickly evolves through majestic rolling groove. A series of thickly texture pads and delayed synth stabs add atmosphere aplenty through a swirling, intoxicating panoply of effects. Adding a syncopated bassline in the second half transforms the track once more into full dance-friendly territory as earlier pads combine to create a generous and mesmerising sonic stage. Very much a producer of the moment at the heart of the progressive movement, Stereo Underground excels on Meanwhile with "Souls from the Past / In the Middle of Everything". Raise the alarm! Sound the Essential Tunes Klaxon!! (adopts Manc drawl): Call the Cops!!! Yes siree, 'tis true – the inimitable D-Nox and Beckers are back on Selador! And they have a special guest in tow! The Dynamic Deutsche Duo has delivered several stellar contributions to the Seladorian catalogue – and this latest double-header is a very welcome and characteristically powerful return, with Lexer the cherry on the icing on the collab cake. 'True Peak' is true peak time (but of course). It rocks straight from the off, as a burbling bassline explodes out of the starting blocks, all mean, moody and magnificent. Slowly but oh-so surely it is aided and abetted by a veritable plethora of memorable hooks, starting with a breathy snatched vocal, building to a keyboard riff from the techno gods. Uh-oh! Lexer has been added to the squad, and all bets are off. 'Conquista' is set to conquer all in its path. Everything about this tune will make you smile broadly and shake yer hips without even realising. From the so infectious congo-esque intro via the jittering one note riff, funky percussive frills and squelchy bassline to the ravemungous hands in the air crescendo, it's a dancefloor call to arms. The Future of Funk is a deliberate step outside our usual orbit; a chance to stretch the CJAXXX identity without losing the grit, sweat, and backbone that defines it. Some tracks ride the rails with classic warehouse swagger. Others drift into cosmic, bass-heavy dub haze. A few snap with electro's chrome‑plated attitude. But all of them share the same mission: Bend the groove, take chances and keep pushing boundaries. A project visualized by Ronnie Vineyard and Brad Lee. Every track feels like a message from tomorrow: a reminder that groove is not just nostalgia, but forward motion... a living organism that grows sharper, stranger, and more beautiful when pushed past its limits. A double debut for the two artist's collaborating on our latest release see's US talent The Idahoan combine with Oddball Savage for a track that treads the path of a story, not a just a standard track. First up is the original track. It builds and flows from a minimal base, telling a wandering story with it's flowing and floating pads, synths and melodies. This is different to the usual progressive, this is a happy journey with soul. To compliment the original we look to Steven Flynn to take the track to the dancefloor. Steven's mix hits the tough vibe from the outset. Beefing up and layering in spacey stabs, this is a level up with a tech edge. This is a unique package we've been looking forward to releasing.

Gorge returns to Bar 25 Music with 'Deeper Love,' a focused, energetic two-track release from an artist with more than 30 years in the scene and a catalogue that includes multiple number one productions. Pit Waldmann, known as Gorge, has been shaping the underground since long before the hype cycles. As label owner of Katchuli Music and co-founder of 8bit Records alongside Nick Curly, he played a central role in building the Mannheim sound and pushing deep, groovy house music back to the foreground of electronic culture. His numerous releases on Freerange, Objectivity, Diynamic, Knee Deep in Sound, Global Underground (to name just a few) and his reputation as one of the scene's most in-demand remixers, reflect decades of commitment to craft over trend. 'Deeper Love' and 'Levitate' are the result of that same focus: two tracks engineered for intensity and clarity, balancing progressive drive, organic warmth and rhythmic groove. Functional on the dancefloor, personal in feel, and built to translate seamlessly into club sets and radio playlists alike. Music that works because it was made by someone who has always known the difference.

  • The Lost Tribe
BeatTracker #20 Top Releases in Progressive House

Globally respected British electronic music pioneer John 00 Fleming returns with his first full-length artist album in eight years, announcing The Lost Tribe, an 18-track body of work set for release in early April via his own imprint, JOOF Recordings. The album arrives at a defining moment in Fleming's career, coinciding with an extraordinary 40 years behind the decks; a dual milestone that underscores both creative longevity and forward momentum. Rather than looking back, The Lost Tribe firmly faces forward. It is an unapologetic, long-form dance album that challenges modern electronic music conventions, rejecting short-format, algorithm-driven production in favour of immersive compositions designed to unfold patiently and purposefully. Every track on the album is an original John 00 Fleming production, with extended runtimes that allow space for atmosphere, narrative and emotional development; hallmarks that have defined his sound and DJ philosophy for decades. Speaking about the upcoming album, John commented: "Six years in the making, this album captures key moments and milestones from across my career, drawing inspiration from the highs, lows, and personal ambitions shaped by a constantly evolving music industry." The album title, The Lost Tribe, carries layered meaning. It reflects a growing community of artists and clubbers who feel increasingly alienated by the current festival and streaming landscape – where attention spans are short, tracks are built for instant impact, and musical journeys are often sacrificed for viral moments. Fleming positions the album as both a response and a rallying call: a reminder that electronic music was born from rule-breaking, long nights and shared transcendence on the dance floor. This philosophy mirrors his enduring approach as a DJ. Known worldwide for his extended sets (often spanning eight hours or more) Fleming has long treated the dance floor as a space for storytelling rather than spectacle. In recent years, he has continued to challenge festival norms with multi-hour headline performances, offering audiences depth and progression in an era increasingly dominated by rapid-fire drops and uniform playlists. The Lost Tribe also marks a deeply personal chapter. The album was shaped during a period of significant reflection and transformation, including Fleming's experience overcoming cancer – a journey that profoundly altered his outlook on creativity, ambition and purpose. That shift is felt throughout the record, which carries a renewed emotional weight and sense of clarity, blending power and vulnerability with the confidence of an artist fully in command of his craft. Musically, the album draws on Fleming's cinematic instincts and background in composition, incorporating expansive intros, evolving structures and richly detailed sound design. The tracks are designed not simply to be played, but to be experienced – whether on a dance floor, in headphones, or as part of a continuous listening journey. John 00 Fleming's influence on electronic music is both foundational and ongoing. Beginning his career at just 15 years old during the rise of the UK rave movement, he has remained a consistent and trusted figure across decades of cultural and technological change. His career has taken him from the UK's formative club circuit to some of the world's most revered stages, including BOOM Festival, Tomorrowland, EDC, Ozora, Creamfields and countless underground institutions worldwide. As a producer, he has released multiple acclaimed artist albums, achieved Gold disc status and earned millions of streams, while maintaining respect from peers ranging from underground innovators to global icons such as Jean-Michel Jarre and Muse. Beyond the club world, his work has extended into film and television composition, including collaborations with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios. Through his imprint JOOF Recordings, Fleming has also cultivated a globally respected label and community, championing forward-thinking electronic music with integrity and independence at its core.
