Mike Kohl returns to 90watts, a label that has become something of a second home for the Colombian born, Oman based artist. 'The Ice Wall' / 'Sandstorm' finds him exploring two sides of his organic house sound, built around warm grooves, detailed percussion and a strong sense of atmosphere. 'The Ice Wall' leans towards the lighter side, with an uplifting, feel good character and a smooth melodic flow. 'Sandstorm' shares the same rhythmic foundation, but heads into deeper and more introspective territory, with a slightly dreamier and more hypnotic feel. Two carefully crafted cuts that sit comfortably within the 90watts sound.

Mauro Masi returns to Amulanga with Vortex, a four-track EP that sits at the intersection of organic and deep progressive house. Built around a deep, pulsing sub-bassline, crisp shaker-driven percussion, and a syncopated delay-drenched plucked synth motif, Vortex trades dramatic drops for hypnotic tension — layering warm analog pads and atmospheric sweeps into a focused, late-night state of flow. One track features a collaboration with Mike Kohl, adding a second creative voice without breaking the EP's cohesion. For DJs, this is considered transitional material — built for deep warm-up sets or late-night pivots in the organic and melodic progressive lane.\n\nwww.amulanga.com
