We welcome Argentinean artist, Mayro, to Tronic for a two-track EP. Phat progressive grooves without the need of being fully melodic. These tracks feature his trademark production, focusing on powerful basslines that are not obvious but rock every floor!
Dear reader, Attached in the envelope three new tracks from me to you. When I heard Tantum & Hyunji were starting a label I was immediately excited. I love the things they do and the way they do it. Proud to be involved! This set of tracks I have loved to play so it holds some weight to me. So hopefully I put enough stamps on here. Write back soon! Kasper A1 / Amethyst Deceiver It is a tiny little mushroom that is bright purple and sticks out against the backdrop when youre lucky enough to find it walking through damp woods. It can be found around where I live. Its just so cool to see something peculiar in nature, right? Maybe just like this track in which I have put some peculiar melodies. Playing it on a piano wouldnt really work because it keeps bending in weird ways. Being slightly off just feels exactly right sometimes. Maybe that mushroom would feel the same if it had any thoughts. A2 / Mon Nom I love when music doesnt do more than necessary. For this track I let myself be less strict with the palette, giving some raw elements that make me move more space to breathe. Does it still sound like me though? I have put my name on it if youre unsure. B1 / In A Flash One of my personal favourites to play, happy it got its place on this EP. Once you reach that point in the night where it feels right to play this track it might be over in a flash. Design: Tom Liebchen Photography: Christoph Koestlin
Lean Robotti joins the label for 2026 with a powerful double A-side debut. Based in the heart of Danish nightlife, Copenhagen, Argentinian newcomer Leandro Robotti is breaking new ground with groove-filled mixes and energetic creations signed to some impressive labels, including Movement, Massive Harmony, and Natura Viva. Already sharing the spotlight with luminaries such as Guy J, Sasha, Mariano Mellino, Juan Hansen, and more, 2026 may prove to be his most productive yet. Opening his account with Framma, we are suitably introduced to the plucky artists signature smooth style. Bubbling bass, snappy percs and dark sonics spring into life as the track grows in intensity. Plucky synths and a dark vocal stand out in the break before dropping back into a powerful hypnotic rhythm. Mercurio follows suit. Well-crafted, dancefloor-ready and devastatingly mesmerising. Building throughout the first section, the second drop proves overwhelming with all hell breaking loose on the floor!
After his towering aural triptych on Meanwhile in late-2025, Fran Garay now debuts on sister label, Meanwhile Horizons with the equally impressive Geros Melody. Always finding music at the centre of his soul, Fran Garay has been influenced by electronic sounds from an early age. Working through a variety of genres including Dubstep, EDM and Future House, the Argentine star discovered the sound of Progressive House through Martín García. Starting his production career on 3rd Avenue in late-2020, the Villa Mercedes resident has seen over a century of credits allied to such notable imprints as Alex ORions Solis Records, Forty Cats PURRFECTION and Mangos best-selling Mango Alley. A debut on September 2024s Meanwhile Excursions, Vol. 4 was an immaculate Meanwhile debut, while the Restored / Irresponsible / Ill be Better created a bright and iridescent glow on GMJ & Matters hugely successful imprint in December 2025. Now beginning 2026 in style, Geros Melody opens with a shuffling rhythmic dynamo and deep sub-bass. Gradually evolving, sonic delicacy can be heard via a muted and filtered motif that is fully revealed at the beatless breakdown. Combined with a swathe of pitched and panned effects, especially in the second half, the track is a beautiful latticework of rhythm and melody. Continuing the powerful rhythmic backdrop, Do What You Can envelops the listener with a rolling percussion and warm bassline sequence. A pad drone adds another hypnotic element before a haunting lead line cuts through the rhythmic foundation with ease. Developing with counterpoint phrase and a vocal sample, the second half oozes with a filmic quality and dreamlike soundscape. The final track creates a slightly more downtempo vibe with the pitched and detuned vibrato of Dark Cities Silent My Tears exuding a relaxed electronica charm. Expanding over its 5-minute duration, a swathe of swells and textured pads enter the fray at the mid-point as motifs cascade and play off each other. The result is a mellifluous and intriguing landscape that is held together by a rich and mesmerising rhythmic foundation. Delivering another outstanding musical triptych, Fran Garay has created an opulent melodic narrative across Geros Melody. Directed by GMJ & Matter Mastered by Cid Inc. Not new in our ranks, Mike Isai returns with a solid double-header and the usual amount of peak time energy and abundance of groove. Drawing inspiration from the sounds of New York Citys nightlife, Mike is taking his own vision to clubland with a trademark sound that allowed him to sign on some respected imprints such as Hope Recordings, One Dot Six Two and Mango Alley. Not to mention his massive EP Exit we released in 2024. For this new chapter he opens with Control, and here we are introduced to the deep tribal stylings rooted in the most pure tradition of the Big Apple clubbing tradition. Tough and uncompromising, the groove is bass heavy and soulful, becoming hypnotic with consummate ease. Next up, Desire has a similar tribal feel. Groovesome and chunky, this is one for the darker floors in the early hours where the phones are forgotten and music is the only thing that matters.
Next up on Solis Records we welcome Digital Mess. An artist whose music label boss Alex ORion has been playing and supporting heavily for quite some time, making this release a natural next step and long overdue. The EP features two strong original tracks, Deuterium and Tritium, showcasing Digital Mess distinctive sound and vision. On remix duties were happy to welcome back Auditoria, who previously appeared on Solis with his remix for Dowden. This time he delivers a fantastic rolling remix of Deuterium, adding another powerful dimension to the release.
This EP marks the coming together of two of the most respected, influential titans in progressive House; Jamie Stevens and Guy J. Jamie is smoking hot off the back of a highly acclaimed, praised and loved debut album, select apppeareacnes live with names like Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J & Anthony pappa and a no.1 Ep on Bedrock. Guy J just delivered arguably one of the greatest Global Underground mixes yet as well as some of last years most talked about singles with several hitting Beatports top spots coupled with incredible shows reaching massive audiences and stages around the globe. The original mixes experiment with dark and light forces jostling with a beautiful yearning vocal. A musical piece that shows patience and restraint with trippy time signatures, bleeps, atmosphere, distinct breaks and dreamy vocals drawing you deeper and washing over you like a reassuring whisper from a loved one. Jamie has long operated in the space between club functionality and emotional depth, and here he leans heavy into that tension, never fully resolving, always pulling the listener forward. Tassolem’ gets a club-ready super highly anticipated remix by Guy J who delivers a masterpiece completely re-envisioning one of his favourite producers, very intentionally selecting a track with clear hallmarks of musical integrity and special ingredients. Guy takes a number of magical core elements from the original and layers subtle beautiful, shifting textures over deep melodics building steady momentum that is felt subtly as its story unravels rather than heard quickly. Melodic fragments shimmer beneath the surface, hinting at deep felt emotions without spelling it out until it washes over you in swathes and your arms uncontrollably raise up in appreciation; an understated anthem if you will. The groove remains hypnotic and unforced, progressive music in the truest sense: not about drops or drama, but about a real authentic journey. There’s a saying to always observe and enjoy the journey, not the pay-off which feels apt and a rule we should all pay more attention towards in life and sums up this release better than we can - enjoy!
We're very lucky to have Spencer Brown back on the label and he's brought us a stunning 4 track EP. Each track here is a belter and have been getting some solid rotation from John Digweed and Spencer along with a lucky few tastemakers and they've all worked a treat.
Makebo remains true to his signature style, embedding his philosophy in his new release, Stolen Nights. Emotional depth isn't presented directly, but rather revealed through nuances, atmosphere, and a sense of inner movement. The composition develops gradually, like a memory returning in fragments. The groove is restrained and precise, leaving room to breathe, while the sonic palette is filled with half-tones and internal tension. The track draws the listener into a process where it's not the ending that's important, but being within the moment itself.
Plaisirs Sonores Records is proud to present Painting in the Sky, a breathtaking new EP from acclaimed German producer Rauschhaus and rising talent Greta Meier. Together, they deliver an evocative and cinematic progressive masterpiece, blending deep emotional resonance with refined groove and sophisticated melodic storytelling. The original track, Painting in the Sky, unfolds with hypnotic progression, ethereal harmonies, and a beautifully expressive atmosphere — showcasing the seamless creative chemistry between Rauschhaus and Greta Meier. Its a track designed to move dancefloors while stirring emotion, balancing precision and warmth in true modern progressive fashion. To elevate this release even further, Plaisirs Sonores Records welcomes two of the scenes most respected artists on remix duties: The legendary Gai Barone offers a stunning darker reinterpretation, injecting his signature progressive touch, textured sound design, and emotional intensity, transforming the original into a mesmerizing late-night experience. Meanwhile, Kamilo Sanclemente & Jossem unite for a powerful and elegant remix, delivering lush melodic phrasing, rich layers, and a driving club energy that seamlessly bridges the emotional core of the track with peak-time momentum. With this EP, Plaisirs Sonores Records continues its mission to showcase forward-thinking, emotionally charged progressive music from some of the worlds leading talents.

MATTIC (BR) and Meriva team up on Piece of Hope with remixes from D-Nox & Kamilo Sanclementé and Elan Myles. With over a decade in the making, Crema Club resident MATTIC is one of Brazils most promising electronic music talents. Bursting onto the scene in 2022, hes risen the ranks with releases on Additive Sounds, Ame Records and more, blending Indie Dance, Progressive, and Melodic House into a meleé of dense lines and powerful basslines. Equally, Meriva has spent the last five years growing his fan base with incendiary sets at Green Valley, Privilege, D-Edge and Pink Elephant, among others. Already picking up some early tastemaker plays from ZAC and J Doppler, Piece of Hope sees the Brazilian pairing once again pool their talents for another slice of dance floor dynamite. In original form, the track laps from the speakers with a sinewy grunt. Melodics throughout ebb and flow against the thunderous low end, building a head of steam thats hard to ignore. A deeper Dub version explores the cinematic soundscapes in greater detail. On remix duties, D-Nox and Kamilo Sanclementé add some playful carnival vibes and smooth out the originals grit for a subtle, yet devastating vocal ride. While Elan Myles drops a bass heavy glitzy trance reimagination thats packed full of soul and personality.
Starting the new year with a bang, GMJ & Matter return to their renowned Meanwhile imprint with another sumptuous twin-track EP, courtesy of Cryo / Keepers. 2025 was yet another year to remember for GMJ & Matter. From gigs across their native Australian homeland, to Skyline Glasgow, Balance Croatia and Prague, to another sold out Meanwhile showcase in conjunction with Vapour Records at Club Akhnaton for ADE, the duos tour schedule has racked up the air miles and lit up clubs and festivals across the globe. In tandem, their production output has shone equally brightly with Telomeres on Meanwhile in March 2025, the Apex / Undergrowth EP on Kasey Taylors Vapour in May, Aprils stunning Voyage Austral with Pole Folder on All Day I Dream and the vibrant Red Sky on Balance Music in July. Remixes for Mango Alley, Songspire Records and Sirup Music have continued to provide an iridescent aura over the duos increasingly sought-after remix work. Opener, Cryo, bristles with bassline brio as a pulsating sub hits the listener square in the chest. A fizzing percussion adds urgency, and a thumping beat provides dancefloor energy. Evolving easily through its phases, a glorious analogue synth cuts across the mix like a hot knife through butter, coming to fore at the mid-point break. Hitting its straps in the second half, the combination of rhythm, bass and melody combine in a magical alchemy that transcends the Progressive House genre. Keepers continues the club-friendly vibe with a rolling percussive groove and sumptuously filtered pads. Using syncopated elements to devastating effect, a subtle motif adds vibrancy before a generous, free-flowing synth creates a mystical dynamism redolent in delays and reverb that percolate throughout the mix. Never dropping in pace, rising tension is created using snare rolls, before the energy is dissipated in a powerful drop that illustrates bassline bravado juxtaposed against melodic charm. Cryo / Keepers once again demonstrates GMJ & Matters unerring ability to create sparkling musical gems, frozen within a timeless rhythmic milieu. Directed by GMJ & Matter Mastered by Cid Inc. Univack presents Groovy Beach, a collaboration between two established talents in the Progressive House scene: Matan Caspi and Luis M, featuring an exclusive remix by producer Anton Make. This EP, composed of two deeply effective tracks, aligns perfectly with Univacks sonic visionwhere intelligent grooves and melodic sophistication converge with elegance. The original track, Groovy Beach, is a vibrant and powerful journey where percussive elements, melodic layers, and effects are woven together in a fluid and hypnotic dialogue. Its direct and club-friendly approach makes it a perfect tool for DJs seeking to maintain high energy on the dancefloor without sacrificing depth. Anton Make, on the other hand, delivers a refined reinterpretation that expands the atmospheric dimension of the original track, introducing a groove enriched with subtle textures, acidic touches, and a structure that builds energy progressively. Groovy Beach encapsulates the spirit of the modern dancefloor, striking a balance between energy, sonic detail, and emotional sensitivity. A must-have release for lovers of sophisticated Progressive House. Feedbacks & Support: Eelke Kleijn, Enamour, Mariano Mellino, Chicola, Makebo, Kasper Koman, BLANCAh, Shiba San, Analog Jungs, Maze 28, Ruben Karapetyan, Noiyse Project, Simply City, Antrim, Matias Chilano, Fernando Ferreyra, Ilias Katelanos, Fonarev, Eichenbaum, Ruben de Ronde, Cream, Wierd Sounding Dude, Dave Walker, Redspace, Lonya, Teleport-X Juan Pablo Torrez, Cosmonaut, N-TCHBL, VegaZ, Praveen Achary...
Were delighted to welcome Cendryma to the Sunexplosion family with his debut EP Uninstalled Force | Opulence. Hailing from Oregon, USA, Cendryma channels his journey from trance and ambient into a rich progressive house soundscape — one that reflects the misty storms and quiet intensity of the Pacific Northwest. In this release youll find two tracks that are unmistakably his: elegant yet potent, weaving deep grooves with dark atmosphere and airy, almost other-worldly melodic layers. Uninstalled Force and Opulence capture that rare duality — lightness in the textures, weight in the drive. A perfect introduction for Cendryma into the Sunexplosion catalogue.
After a period of anticipation following their acclaimed Gateway EP on Warung Recordings, Hicky & Kalo make a powerful return with their first solo release since — a brand-new single titled Rise, out now on their own imprint, Plaisirs Sonores Records. With Rise, the Montreal duo delivers a meteoric progressive house journey pushing toward the edge of melodic techno — a track sculpted with precision for peak-time dancefloor moments. Driven by soaring melodies, tense builds, and their signature hypnotic groove, Rise showcases Hicky & Kalos refined studio craftsmanship while reaffirming their unmistakable presence in the global progressive scene. As label founders, the pair continue to shape Plaisirs Sonores Records into a home for forward-thinking electronic music. This release marks a fresh creative chapter — one that captures their evolving sound while staying rooted in the deep and melodic energy theyre known for.
Making a welcome return to the Proton Music catalogue, Luis León and Unseener are joined by the multi-talented Eleonora as they showcase BTG. A single remix comes from iconic figures, Gai Barone and Luke Brancaccio. Renowned figures within the underground dance fraternity, Luis León and Oscar Paredes (aka Unseener) have been at the vanguard of the Progressive House scene with a series of highly polished productions for some of the most illustrious independent labels. From Manjumasi to Oleeva Records and Nie Wieder Schlafen to Lenfant terrible, almost 300 credits have shone a powerful light over their talent, including a century on Luis own Blankhaus Music. Proton Music has also played a part in that success, not least with the Concorde EP in April 2024. A howitzer of a release with remixes from Petar Dundov and Juan Deminicis, Luis León and Unseener return to Proton alongside the vocal talents of Berlin-based, Eleonora. Widely regarded as one of the most important female producers in the underground dance scene, her production work and vocal talent have graced a slew of A-list imprints including Anjunabeats, KATTERMUKKE and Get Physical Records. Making their collective debut, BTG is a superbly crafted breakbeat extravaganza with superlatively spaced bassline groove and delicate melodic progression. Eleonoras vocals quickly add to the sonic collage in bouncing waves of joy and infectious playful quality. Developing easily over its 4-minute timeframe, the track is a breath of fresh air in a world where a touch of sonic joy goes a long way. Gai Barone & Luke Brancaccio need little introduction to the Progressive House faithful. Both formidable producers in their own rights with a list of credits that totals nearly 1000 between them, their work in solo and collaborative guises for some of the most important underground imprints, has been seen regularly on the likes of Bedrock, Sprout, Renaissance, Balance Music and Lost & Found. A remix of dernis, the kid in mid-2024 marked a Proton Music debut, while the Got to Get it Started EP in July 2025 showcased an original track of the highest order, alongside remixes from Orsen and Michael A. Now returning with a second remix, the Gai Barone & Luke Brancaccio remix is a stunning interpretation that evolves effortlessly over its near 9-minute timeframe with a subtle tribal beat and swathe of stereo-panned effects. Before long, Eleonoras vocals appear front and centre as they float across the deep rhythmic textures. Hitting another level at the breakdown, the introduction of a devastating synth pattern elevates the track further still as it builds in relentless fashion. Dropping into a rousing finale, a hypnotic synth cadence and Eleonoras vocals combine with Luis and Unseeners original elements to create a masterpiece of modern Progressive House. Another gold standard, Luis León, Unseener and Eleonora have mined a powerful piece of electronic music in BTG, further bejewelled by Gai Barone & Luke Brancaccios 24-carat interpretation. Four Candles and Kabi (AR) team up on the Sofa Surfing EP. UK based Four Candles has risen the ranks in a short time with stand-out releases for Bedrock, Balance Music, Selador, and his own Keep Thinking imprint. A DJ at heart, his sets ooze emotion and melody, making him the go-to DJ of choice. Equally, Kabi (AR) has made his mark with gusto. Releases for everyone from Soundteller to Anjunadeep show his diversity. This is an exciting pairing that thrives on creative, emotion-led storytelling. Opening with Sofa Surfing, we are invited into their deep, vibey world with rubbery bass and expansive pads. Evolving over time, the melodic layers ebb and flow, creating a rich sonic tapestry of warmth and inclusion. On the flipside, Need U begins in a similar fashion: vibey bass, warm synth stabs and sparse percussion. With storytelling at its heart, the melodics soar midway. A sensational partnership in the making for sure.

Were excited to welcome Ultraverse into the onedotsixtwo story with an EP that radiates subtle craft, groove and atmosphere. Vera & Avant-Garde / Mea Astris feels like the work of an artist who understands the power of space and restraint — and how to let music breathe while still pulling a dancefloor forward. Vera & Avant-Garde opens the release with a groovy, stripped-back pulse, all clean percussion, rolling bass movement and beautifully measured detail. Its one of those deceptively simple grooves that quietly locks a room together, letting DJs settle into a perfect late-night flow without ever pushing too hard. Ultraverse leans into nuance and clarity…..and it works. On Mea Astris, he heads into spacey, FX-laden territory, drifting through cosmic pads, echo trails and hypnotic rhythmic patterns. The track feels like a journey inward and outward at once, balancing emotional atmosphere with a deep, low-end drive built for the later hours. To elevate the EP, we pulled in artists who deeply understand the progressive blueprint. For Vera & Avant-Garde, Gorkiz and Fernando Olaya join forces for a true collaborative remix, a seamless blend of their strengths rather than two separate interpretations. Their combined rework feels alive, bouncing ideas between them and building on the originals stripped groove with added colour, movement and dancefloor thrust. Fernandos melodic finesse and Gorkizs percussive instinct meet in the middle, creating a single, unified version that expands the tracks energy while keeping its classy spirit intact. On the flip side, Menkee makes his onedotsixtwo debut with a powerful reimagining of Mea Astris. He takes the originals floating, celestial feel and anchors it with tougher drums, rising tension and that unmistakable peak-time momentum hes known for. It lifts the track into a bigger, bolder, rougher and tougher space, a proper late-night moment. Ultraverse arrives with a background shaped by early inspiration from Nick Warren, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Lee Burridge and Depeche Mode, and years of dedication as A&R for BC2 Records. His music has travelled across respected labels like Balkan Connection, Pro B Tech, Mystique Music, Incepto Deep, BCSA, Bonzai Progressive and more — always marked by a sense of humility, passion and attention to detail. His debut on onedotsixtwo feels like a natural fit: an artist grounded in groove and atmosphere, supported by collaborators who lift the music into new spaces without losing its heart. Vera & Avant-Garde / Mea Astris is a journey from stripped-back groove to cosmic exploration, finishing in full dancefloor ignition — and were proud to share it.
André Monet and D-Nox return for part three of their scintillating collaboration series. Youll be well-versed on André and D-Nox, leaders in their field and growing naturally as a production pairing. Part 3 of their Sessions series sees them continue to solidify, drawing every ounce of creativity from each other. We open with Vale du Sol, a deep melodic groover for the early morning sets. Glorious icy pads and delicate keys create the sonic playground on which sparse drums and piano tell a melancholy tale. Next, Six keeps up the tempo with a deep, bass-led vibe. Coming to life with wonky sonics and melodic percs, Six is an audio melodrama played out in your mind. Finally, Heaven opens with crisp percussion and a broken beat before a huge reese bass drops and arms raise. Drenched in old skool rave personality, the pianos and keys speak to simpler times of joyous dancefloors and naive hope realised through music. Heaven indeed.
Rounding off in fitting style what, if we may humbly say so ourselves, has been a pretty damn stellar year for new tuneage emanating from Selador HQ …its the oh so welcome return of a stalwart of the label, a soldier of the scene, and all-round ace human, the one and only… Just Her. And its double bubble time, as Claires musical gift to mankind is not one, but two surefire festive favourites. However, much like Slade recorded Merry Xmas Everybody on a sweltering summers day in NYC, our winter wonderland tale starts back in the heady days of August – as the Selador Boat Party cruised the Adriatic during the much lauded (and inaugural) Balance Croatia festival. As Just Hers set reached an especially exhilarating crescendo, both Steve and Dave simply had to know what one particular track was. Claire advised it was new; it was one of her own called Secrets, and it was currently unsigned – 10 seconds later, it was very much signed, sold to the men with the bunny logo. One listen to this beauty, by turns tough as old boots and effortlessly euphoric, and youll soon see why. Sister track Floating Clouds then joined the party, bringing another equally infectious addendum to proceedings. With its incessant arp gliding hypnotically over punchy bass and whip cracker percussion, its not just here to make up the numbers, its a serious contender for your favourite track of the release. So pick a winner. The choice is yours. Were just trading secrets with our heads in the clouds x Team Selador x
We are excited to announce Drunken Kongs new progressive alias D-SHIFT! Dee from Drunken Kong has always been a big fan of progressive house, and this release is a testament to a new beginning for D-SHIFT! This EP features two tracks that showcase expertly programmed melodies, coupled with grooves and intricate arrangements. We also recruited one of our favourite Argentinean artists, Mariano Mellino, for remix duties! He delivered a progressive stormer that works every time! Jump on board for a taste of D-Shift!
In August 2024, Toronto-based duo Beije delivered a magical musical triptych in the shape of Ardere. As Proton Music returns to the EP, a pair of remixes from Brazilian and Sri Lankan talents now reimagines two of those tracks. A powerful force in South American Progressive and Organic House, Vinicius Souza has created a sizeable following through his RIGOONI moniker. Starting his production journey in 2018, the Brazilian star quickly found his way onto a host of noteworthy modern imprints that include the likes of Hicky & Kalos Plaisirs Sonores Records, Roger Martinezs HIGHER STATES and Nick Warrens The Soundgarden. Add to that a mentoring programme on his own Amesch imprint, a Beatport Organic House #1 spot and runner-up in a Sonic Academy Remix Contest, and it is not hard to see why RIGOONI is such a highly regarded figure in modern dance music. A trio of remixes for Proton Music have seen reworkings of Savvas, Trilucid and Dabeat in 2022 and 2023, as the São Paulo-based artist now returns for a fourth outing. Taking on the delightful Lumina, the RIGOONI remix drives easily forward courtesy of a compelling beat and light percussive touch. Evolving gently, elements from the original gradually come to the fore, accompanied by a developing palette of additional production material that always remains sensitive to the aural characteristics of Beijes work. Hitting its heights, post-breakdown, a gated synth sequence adds interest and dancefloor character, following the melodic patterns that made Lumina such a powerful original piece. A prolific and exciting talent, NOIYSE PROJECT, has quickly gone about ripping up the rulebook in search of a unique and defining Progressive House sound. Some 300 production credits later, and the Sri Lankan artist has seen his music become a staple of numerous well-established imprints. Thus, Mango Alley, UV Noir, Balkan Connection and AMITABHA have all played host to his well-defined sound, featuring heavily in their release schedules. Furthermore, his own Till The Sunrise imprint has been a regular home for a host of original music since late 2021. A pair of original tracks in Myth in Manaus and Naymaria both found their way onto Particles in 2019, as NOIYSE PROJECT now makes his Proton Music debut with a captivating rhythmic powerhouse. Taking the tribal drive of Impetus, the remix further extends the groove with a series of pitched effects and thumping kick. Evolving steadily, the melodic elements so central to the original gradually make their presence felt in an immaculately programmed dancefloor shell. Hypnotic and mesmeric in execution, the track takes on a whole new direction as NOIYSE PROJECT keeps the energy and vibrancy high throughout. Directed by Jay Epoch Mastered by Cid Inc. From the United States, producer J Lauda presents The Frequency / Libertas / Astir, an EP that showcases his evolution within the realm of melodic Progressive House, shaped by a clean, energetic, and emotional approach. Released by Univack, this work brings together three tracks connected by a cohesive sonic narrative, where each piece offers a distinct experience within the same journey. Libertas opens with force: a hypnotic structure, acid-driven progression, and an explosive drop make this a peak-time weapon, crafted to release tension on the dancefloor. Astir takes us to another dimension, with immersive textures, a serpentine bassline, and an expansive atmosphere that breathes depth and emotion. The EP concludes with The Frequency, a luminous and uplifting composition marked by rhythmic solidity and melodic warmth perfect for opening sonic spaces. A work of sonic precision that balances strength and sensitivity, reaffirming J Laudas place on the international Progressive House map. Cass and Baunder drop some serious heat with fresh remixes of Danny Tenaglia x Cass & Slides iconic Fever Rising. Originally crafted by the legendary Danny Tenaglia and released on Cass and Lee Burridges FIRE Recordings back in 2001, Fever Rising stood tall as one of the defining tracks of progressive houses golden era. A dance floor weapon supported by heavyweights like Sasha, John Digweed, and Tenaglia himself, its tough drums and dark sonics perfectly embodied the underground spirit that ruled the clubs of that time. First up, the ever-reliable Baunder injects his trademark silky grooves into this classic, updating the drums without losing that tribal essence. Playful melodics weave around the hypnotic vocal, creating a timeless blend of energy and emotion. Next, Cass Cutbush steps in with two fresh versions. His 4by4 mix channels the raw drive of early-2000s prog, with subtle shifts and an epic main break that pays homage to the scene he helped shape. On the breakbeat version, Cass explores a more emotional side wistful, hopeful, and beautifully melancholic.
Approaching the end of another successful year, Meanwhile welcomes Fran Garay to the label with the powerful Restored / Irresponsible / Ill Be Better EP. Immersed in the world of electronic music from an early age, Fran Garay journeyed along a pathway of Dubstep and EDM before reaching a destination where he discovered Progressive House aged 16, inspired by the sounds of Martín García. From this epiphany, the Argentine producer has quickly become a staple of the progressive fraternity with over a century of production credits dating back to a 2020 debut on 3rd Avenue. Since then, Balkan Connection, Paul Thomass UV Noir, Forty Cats PURRFECTION and Mangos Mango Alley have played host to the Fran Garay sound. Now the Villa Mercedes resident from San Luis province returns to Meanwhile after a debut on September 2024s Meanwhile Excursions, Vol. 4 compilation. Showcasing his distinctive and versatile sound, Restored is powered by traditional, club-friendly tropes. A dynamic rhythmic backdrop creates a high-energy vibe while a rolling bassline groove creates dancefloor character. A syncopated motif brings mid-range joy in effortlessly shifting repetitions, culminating in a white noise-fuelled breakdown before reaching its zenith in the second half. Here, the full cast of melodic and rhythmic actors join forces in a chorus of pitched synth phrases that rise, in siren-like intensity, before dropping back into the magnificent rhythm and bassline melange of earlier phases. Irresponsible boasts a huge thumping beat and rolling groove, while a subterranean bassline joins the throng, blending seamlessly alongside the rising melodic themes. Held together with an invisible sonic glue, a cascading and fractured analogue lead sequence glistens like shards of broken glass in the autumn sunlight. Subtly shifting patterns of light and dark rise and fall in intensity as the complex melodic patterns rotate around a central theme. The result is an innovative and unique track. Following the themes of its predecessor, Ill Be Better, continues the driving rhythmic framework with lighter shaker patterns adding delicate urgency. Once again, shifting motifs are in full evidence, this time punctuated by a flowing freeform pattern that gradually appears from the second movement. Evolving easily, the track erupts after the mid-point breakdown into a glorious collage of shifting sonic patterns that command listener attention, in turn creating an awe-inspiring listener experience. Full of intriguing sonic landscapes and a unique approach to his craft, Fran Garay has certainly risen to new heights with his Restored / Irresponsible / Ill Be Better EP. D-Nox and André Moret return with part two of their Sessions series. Sessions represents the next phase for the multinational pairing. Whether remixing each other or appearing on the same labels, D-Nox and Andrés musical blueprint is finely tuned, as they continue to grow together artistically. First up, the 80s-inspired Shine applies its machine funk and glittery melodies. Tough drums and an offbeat bass provide a solid foundation for the main motif to explore the limits of uplifting analogue glory. Next, Velvet gathers pace for a masterclass of progressive house. Sparse drums and a thunderous bass bedrock the melodies and sweeps of this mid-set bruiser. Finally, Spiritual rounds out this impressive three-tracker with a deep progressive ride full of musicality and soul.
