Reaching the end of a highly productive and successful year, Meanwhile dips into its 2025 catalogue to produce a sparkling compilation of progressive highlights. Junes powerful Riot sees Argentine legend, Nicolas Rada open proceedings, with Vapour Recordings Kasey Taylor and Italian legend, Gai Barone, following with Passing Over the Clouds. Meanwhile favourite, Alex ORion celebrates another impressive year with his February EP reprised here, courtesy of Tunnel. Meanwhiles Australian contingent is well represented with the combined talents of Mike Rish and label heads, GMJ & Matter all making telling contributions to the underground house scene. Rishs Sunset on Mars was part of an inimitable triple-tracker in May, while Telomeres saw the Melbourne duo continue to reach rarefied heights with their hallmark sound. Seeing their work remixed by two of the dance musics highest-profile names, Marshs rerub of Zankee Gulatis Mind Opener and Kasper Komans reinterpretation of Mike Rishs GT both topped the Beatport Progressive House charts in the sweltering Northern Hemisphere summer. From Armenia to Sweden and the US, Ruben Karapetyan, EMPHI and Sam Scheme represent Meanwhiles international talent with a trio of majestic offerings in the second half of the year. Gai Barone returns once more, this time in solo guise, to close proceedings with the shimmering melodic gem, Hemels.
