Adriatic legend, Hell Yeah Recordings regular and consummate musician Verdo dropped his long-awaited debut album GRATIS CLUB on Hell Yeah in February. Now the third single for it gets a standalone pressing complete with remixes from German electronic mastermind Lauer and Secret Society aka South Wales's Cal Gibson. Ballad is a bittersweet downbeat delight. It's the sound of the party ending - a comforting accompaniment for the walk home with a fuzzy synth afterglow, distant stars twinkling before they fade out as a warming vocoder blurs reality. Running Back mainstay Lauer's remix brings more snap to the drums and layers in loopy arps and sugary chords that uplift and energise with the same sun-baked warmth as Moon Safari.Finally, previous label remixer and Buena Onda contributor Cal Gibsons shows his class with a whimsical rework that's gently rhythmic. A warm glow rises up amongst the sad robot voices and dub weight keeps you locked in for a bleary-eyed trip.

NS006 features the Argentina-based Producer, Engineer, DJ & Friend of the label known as Balam. Across two originals, the Mambo Negro EP carves out a space where deep, disco-leaning rhythms meet subtle tension. Balam explores restrained, after-hours movement, warm low-end, drifting synth work, and grooves that unfold gradually rather than announce themselves. Remixes by Mytron, Mandruva, and Roy Heneman expand the EP's atmosphere while keeping the pulse intact.

"Acid Gato" is a forward-driven club track built around a tight and solid groove, where bass and drums lock in to create an immediate urge to dance. Slightly aggressive in nature, the track carries a raw, street-wise attitude, enhanced by Brazilian Portuguese vocals that bring flow, character, and urban energy. Produced at Veleta Studios in Tulum, Mexico, the track emerged from a collaborative process rooted in experimentation. What began as a simple idea months earlier was reshaped multiple times until Leo Leonski and Shoao sat down together in the studio, allowing new inspiration to take over. Acid bass lines, Latin American percussion, and carioca-influenced vocals were layered in, giving the track its distinctive identity. At its core, "Acid Gato" balances indie dance textures with Latin rhythms and a warm yet punchy bass line designed for the dance floor. Favela funk-inspired vocals sit on top, adding grit and groove, pushing the track into a bold and hypnotic territory. Made in Latin America for global dance floors, "Acid Gato" is a driving, uncompromising release that captures the essence of movement, rhythm, and raw club energy — true to the spirit of Cacao Records.
