Portuguese producer & DJ, 3WA debuts on Infernal Sounds with the Scavenger EP to mark the 4th instalment of the prolific LTD series. The producers progressive, forward-thinking approach to the 140 sound, is a perfect match for Infernal Sounds and this EP radiates the purest of dubstep flavours on offer. Minotaur kicks things off and instantly throws you into the crosshairs. The burgeoning weight of the main lead piles ten tonnes of weight onto the shoulders, and culminates a true monster in musical form. Mutts then wheels things back, elegantly crossing the boundaries between new-school 140 techniques and old-school dubstep tones. The percussion is an absolute triumph. Wandering takes you a little deeper into the mainframe, a swirling bass cauldron licked with groove-infused kicks and mid-range textures. Space Impact finishes off proceedings with a progressive dread-march through the stars, incorporating some snap and groove between the wobbed out low-end flex. The EP really highlights why 3WA is one of the most lauded in the scene for his innovative use of percussion and perfect mantra between light & dark, new & old.
Prepare yourself for an absolute sound system assault as Solidstates hit NICE UP! with two seismic 140 bangers, fresh off the back of their massive drops on N-Types Wheel And Deal records (including the notorious War Mi with grime icon Riko Dan). The Leeds/London collective consisting of Danny T & Tradesman, Finwa, Jakey Banton and Joe Knight bring their heavyweight production skills together, blending the rawest elements of dubstep and grime drawing inspiration from their early raving years at the legendary Subdub at the West Indian Centre. Deathgrip comes on like a lost Icerink-era Eski riddim, stark and relentless energy built for any MC daring enough to step up, whilst Miso Soup goes a bit heavier, sounding like it would detonate DMZ on any night of the week. One for true heads.
The opening track in many a TRUTH set, including their epic 2024 Red Rocks performance. The Illuminated starts of emotively uplifting, with granulated choir and strings... followed by an ultra-subby drop into low deep bass frequencies... punctuated by brutal techno-influenced stabs. Buckle up for the distorted square wave switch up which fuses with a UKG beat for an additional energy boost on the second drop! Since we think this is the perfect set opener, we have made The Illuminated the opening track of Decade the album to celebrate 10 years of Deep, Dark & Dangerous. A forward-looking album, absolutely full of A++ level tracks from across the Deep, Dark & Dangerous spectrum!
For their final release of 2024, Locus Sound return to their LP series with Compilation Vol. 6. LOCUSLP006 is a 10 track project celebrating label artists as well as introducing some new members of the family who will be featuring on Locus Sound in 2025.

Teffa returns to Boka Records for his second EP on the label this year. It also signals the final release of 2024 for the label (who has had its busiest year for quite some time). 3 tracks on offer here which showcase Teffas ability to turn his hand to a variety of styles with the wobbly opener 17, the ultra deep, menacing and minimal Blue, and finally the dub-techno leaning Dirty Tricks.
Evil Sky returns with a powerful second release, a 3-track EP from Drone that blends the raw energy of dubstep, grime, and rap. Featuring Nottinghams Kyeza on the standout track Streets of Rage-already making waves in clubs worldwide-the EP delivers hard-hitting basslines and infectious vocal hooks. Bristols Axel Holy also lends his unique flow to Borderline, pushing the boundaries of genre with dark, atmospheric production and gritty lyricism. Evil Sky continues to set the bar high for innovative, bass-heavy music with this latest release.

Cesco returns to 1985 Music with Fake EP a 4 track multi-genre EP showcasing his continued versatility in the bass world. Following the success of his Up The Place EP last year, the Bristol-based producer/DJ has been championed by pioneers of the scene including Mike Skinner from The Streets, Modeselektor, Clozee, Disclosure and Caribou to name a few. Full EP due 6th December.
Senncoria lines up his first EP with Jah-Tek, delivering an exploratory release that delves into intricate sonic territories. Chainsaw EP earns its title through sawing lead sounds that cut through four tracks, each layered with rich low-end textures and mechanical resonance. The EP opens with Cuckoo, a hypnotic hi-hat shuffler, enriched with sinister pad overtones, rich drum break fills and a cascading bass line that outwardly ripples through the audio spectrum. Next up Mango delivers a masterful display of sound design and frequency modulation, conjuring up a full-bodied sonic landscape that reaches beyond the normal realms of sound and space utilisation. Track 3, TCM takes the sinister and macabre audio samplings of the 1974 classic Texas Chainsaw Massacre, bringing to life an ominous arrangement with surging electrical impulses, haunting climatic drops and revving low end. The EP then rounds off with Tunnel Yard, a detonating sub driller, fortified with technological artifacts, eastern overtones and a variety of sawing rasps.

Danny Goliger has been steadily rising as one of the forefront bass & techno producers in L.A. for several years with releases on staple labels such as Dirtybird, Scuffed Recs, 3024 & Magic City alongside his residency on the renowned Dublab Radio. We are super excited to welcome him to the Faux Poly family with his stunning EP Say I Do. In Dannys own words: Inspiration was pretty wide ranging on this EP. From UK funky, to dembow, to dubstep, post-dubstep, and garage. Ive incorporated elements of these grooves and aesthetics into modern bassy club tracks. The EP blends together two 4x4 rollers with Say I Do and Weightless, alongside halftime bass led dubstep tracks Gimme That and Pearls. All of these ideas were born out of modular hardware jams and delivered with Dannys distinctive ear for detail. The whole EP has already become a firm favourite within the Faux Poly family, and if youve seen any of us play this summer, then chances are youve been lucky enough to hear these on a big system already. Words from Danny: Im hoping with this record to capture the feeling of club experiences that are dark and moody, while also maintaining an ethereal lightness.Tunes that are bass-y and gritty in tone but not necessarily heavy and aggressive. Something meditative and maybe slightly introspective to keep people locked in.
Circling back around following the ground breaking Violent Castles earlier this year on Overview Music, Klinical returns with more 140 and this time joins forces with Grime scene luminary Trim on My Problem Distributed by Label Engine - www.label-engine.com
With support from heavyweights like Of The Trees and TRUTH Dark & Dangerous Dub threatens to become the Deep, Dark & Dangerous anthem of 2024 with its catchy Dark & Dangerous hook! Stylusts production is at the fore with this track, rib shattering bass, crisp skipping drums and a hook that slaps! Part of the 10 years of Deep, Dark & Dangerous celebration month!
The Awakening of SIBU is the debut album by Costa Rican artist JLEON. It reimagines the events of the moment Spanish colonizers discovered Costa Rica and encountered the native peoples. SIBU is one of many local names for God among the local tribes. In this tale, SIBU takes the form of a gigantic octopus, who brings an army from another dimension to see the Spanish conquistidores off and save the Costa Rican people. Set over 16 tracks, the album is an epic piece of work, showcasing JLEONs work and style across the 140bpm spectrum.
Its taken 6 years but we finally launch remixes of tracks from AxHs classic Tokyo EP originally released on Boka Records in 2018. Stepping up on remix duties are two absolute heavyweights of the dubstep scene - Kromestar and N-Type who both collectively took the controls to rework the tracks Tokyo and Devilman in a deep, hard and heavy style.
Evil Sky returns with a powerful second release, a 3-track EP from Drone that blends the raw energy of dubstep, grime, and rap. Featuring Nottinghams Kyeza on the standout track Streets of Rage-already making waves in clubs worldwide. Full EP due 29th November.
The mighty Mystic State return once again to Artikal for their 4th EP. Scimitar takes you deeper into the sound of the duo who have superbly crafted 4 tracks of bass weight bliss. Dub and eastern influences reign throughout the sound of the EP which treads perfectly between the dance floor and home listening experiences.
The third single off the forthcoming album by Killa P & Numa Crew is a reggae-tinged steppa tune. Love Inna We Heart is a plea for unity and love. The song features two very talented artists on the vocal: the South-London grime mc Long Range, that has been a big collaborator of both Killa P and Numa Crew in the last years, and Charlie P, that has been one of the most followed UK reggae and dub singers lately. The combination of these artists on this track highlights a type of sound that Numa Crew has developed in recent years; mixing dub and grime vibes in an infused of ethereal melodies, rough drums and dirty bass sounds. The result is a perfect representation of the sound system culture without any kind of stylistic barriers.
On his latest full-length, Low End Activist swerves towards weightless grime and suspended hardcore miniatures to tell a very personal story. The UK-rooted producer continues his habit of zeroing in on a distinct approach for each release, leaving a logical breadcrumb trail of soundsystem science in his wake as he channels decades of bass absorption into 14 atmospheric cuts that prize patience and precision over obvious club functionality. Municipal Dreams plays out as a semi-autobiographical tour through the Blackbird Leys estate that the Activist grew up on. Its a lived reflection on inequality and the ripple effect it has in working class communities, using the sonic palette to set the mood and scattering pointed samples throughout to spell out the story.
Artikal welcome the Belgian duo Requake for their debut release on the label. On their return to Dubstep after several years away, Requake deliver a stunning 2 track EP which dives deep into the depths of their sound. The euphoric Trusted Locations sets the path with haunting vocals and blissful melodies and is followed by the percussive sound system stomper Zone. The perfect Ying and Yang of Requakes sound.
Blistering on to the scene with a debut release like no other comes Combine, with five searing hot slices of bass-music badness. When asked about the release Combines response: my intention was to make bangers sums things up perfectly. Bangers aplenty inside. The EP has been featured on two UKF mixes, and a slew of DJ support!
One of the hottest talents to emerge onto the 140 scene. Klinical has been taking no prisoners, and blew us away with his Deep, Dark & Dangerous guest mix earlier in 2024. Now, in celebration of 10 years of DDD, we present Dry Spirit by Klinical. In a series of releases to celebrate 10 years of the label which is very much forward thinking, Dry Spirit stands out as a track embodying a deeply musical foundation, while being bass heavy, and dancefloor oriented.

Its been 10 years since Deep, Dark & Dangerous started releasing music. To celebrate were releasing a series of singles over the month of December, followed by a big compilation album at the end of the month! Liquid Artefacts by ENiGMA Dubz shows off the producers swagger, with stripped back drums, massive dominant lfo synth over huge pulsing subbass.
Were back and pleased to welcome Kampah to the In:flux Audio family with a sublime three original tracks that blew us away when we received them earlier in the year. We kick off proceedings with the aptly titled Grott, which snarls and twists through heavy bass to get the EP off to a fine start. Title track Light Source is up next which continues the wonderful distorted bass design but this time through oscillation accompanied by some extra excellent synth work. The last of the original tracks is titled Unconscious Mind and this one is all energy and a lovely change of pace to help bring the original tracks to a conclusion. On remix duty its our devilsome duo, back from their own hiatus, with a remix of the opening track Grott. Theyve taken the bassline of the original track and applied it through some granular synths to put their neuro-dubstep spin on the original.
Evil Sky returns with a powerful second release, a 3-track EP from Drone that blends the raw energy of dubstep, grime, and rap. Bristols Axel Holy lends his unique flow to Borderline, pushing the boundaries of genre with dark, atmospheric production and gritty lyricism. Full EP due 29th November.
Two of the hottest talents in New Zealands bass scene combine in devastating fashion on 233, a tune so moody it makes Azealia Banks 212 sound more like Dolly Partons 9 to 5. Dark cinematic soundscapes are interrupted by the sub-driven force of Paige Julias beats so sick, they make you iller than getting locked up in an ice cold chiller as fire MC Talis flow and lyricism takes centre stage. The dynamite vocalist is someone DDD founders Truth have long admired, with the duo promoting her when they used to throw drum & bass shows way back in 2005 when she was signed to Roni Sizes Full Cycle Records in Bristol, UK. Welcoming Tali to the label for the first time is a full cycle moment itself, and the results are seismic as the MC sprays molten lava got no time for patriarchy, so dont fuck with me and my privacy - with Paige Julias ice cold production the perfect bedrock. Snakes better watch their throats, Paige Julia and Tali arent in the mood to play nice.
Substrada makes his return to Infernal Sounds with the formidable concoction of toxic potions from the bass cauldron. 'Molten Echoes' kicks things off with a destructive low-end jive, mixing swaggering SFX with a tough kick and snare snap, before 'Rift' really takes things deeper, unleashing a alienesque sub-low wobbler - it's a true face scrunching distorted riddim. Collaborative work from Substrada & EKSTR features next with the appropriately named, 'Phatboy', which implements a little bit more swing and percussive groove. Rounding things off, 'Dream Devourer' flips things on it's head, producing a squelchy low-fi vibe, once again drawing for heavy distortion and a washing mid-range flex. This EP is a complete triumph and one that showcases why Substrada is one of the most exciting talents to cement himself within dubstep of late. Support from TRUTH, J:Kenzo, The Greys, Enigma Dubz & more.
Sling Wave pressed the War Dub nuclear button with Jabba Jaws. Smart move? Well let you decide. Brave enough to call out ENiGMA Dubz, the young producer got served up the ultimate bass fuelled slapdown: Jabba Wars. After the dub took off on ENiGMA Dubz SoundCloud, DDD had to release it - especially as the pair are both appearing at the labels flagship Mission Ballroom show in September. Flipping the original into a filthy broken beat slice of UK Bass - the tracks violent synthlines, monstrous subs and weighty kicks seeks to destroy anything within a 100 mile radius. Civilisation has just been put in jeopardy.. Jabba Wars is our new normal.
London's J Beatz steps up for his debut EP on the label entitled 'Tisno', inspired by the beach resort famed for hosting the Outlook parties, 3 tracks which bridge the gap between J's grime roots and modern day dubstep. Heavy, experimental and fresh sounds. J Beatz has worked with some of the UK's biggest MC's from the likes of Kano, Big Narstie, AJ Tracey, Frisco, Flow Dan, P Money, Wiley and having his tracks played on stations such as Rinse FM, Kiss 100, Kiss Fresh, Capital Xtra, BBC Asian Network, BBC Radio One, 1Xtra etc. He's also had media coverage from Complex UK, Trench Mag, The Fader, DJ Mag, Dummy Mag, Mixmag, Red Bull, Rwd Mag etc.
Dubsteps man of the moment is back on DDD with an absolute stomper - No Mercy. Showing absolutely no remorse for systems and the general public alike, the Canadian producers latest offering is set to bring the party wherever its unleashed. The drop is so infectious its likely to induce the next pandemic, as a trombone style bass collides with thumping kicks and a potent snare that doubles up as a slap around the chops. Already causing havoc in the underground, Distinct Motive is not in the mood for pleasantries. No mercy, ever.
Wraz is a Canadian producer & DJ from Sherbrooke, Quebec and is the latest signing to Wheel & Deal Records. His sound goes into the deep & dark side of Dubstep, Grime, Drum & Bass and Halftime, with fat analog synths, mythical melodies and unstoppable flow on the drums. With releases on Deep Dark & Dangerous, Artikal Music, 4NCY/Darkmode, Duploc, and other labels across the globe, he always makes quality material for your ears, in harmony with the sound system. We are proud to welcome Wraz to the Wheel & Deal family. The Canadian producer started making music full-time in 2012, when he started studying music at college (jazz drum and classical piano), then university (composition), and he has now finished his master's degree (conducting). While always exploring new techniques of sound design and arrangement, he developed a very unique sound that can be heard in all his productions. His dubs have featured heavily in N-Type's DJ Sets and Rinse Fm shows. He has received support from Coki, Mala, Truth, Ternion Sound, Mythm, DVMU, Caspa, Youngsta, Distance, DFuse, Sukh Knight, Squarewave, Contra, Lazy K, Cøntra + More.
Glacia is a brand new sound to the ears of us! This 3 track is a beauty! Having found Glacia.... we then realised - He is an absolute monster. The groove and sound is a perfect blend of old and new and it compliments the EA sound to the core. Its all joined together. codedinsound Expect to hear more from Glacia.
Kursa and Sepia combine in formidable fashion to bring a gargantuan selection of beats to embody the 'Tune In' EP. A perfect blend of aggressive synth work, weighty lows and rasping SFX provide a spanning variety of vibes across the four tracks. The title track, 'Tune In' kicks off proceedings with a skip and a step, before unleashing into a rugged drop and zips of energised reeces. 'Woke Up, Chose Violence' is a fitting name for the track as it epitomises that exact vibe, hitting you with a relentless slurry of jabs. It's a prime chest boxing banger. 'Unrefined Behaviour' is the true soundsystem destroyer on the EP, smacking down a hammer blow of squelchy SFX, before 'Sleepin' finishes things off with a more stripped back mainframe and subtle groove. It's a goliath selection of collaborative works and a perfectly rounded EP, a must own for all DJ's desiring an energising influx to their sets. DJ support from Laurent Garnier, Joker, J:Kenzo, N-Type, Coki, Cesco, Bukez Finezt, Ternion Sound, Lost and many more.
One of DDD's most prolific talents Hypho teams up with UK don MC Illaman for this ice-cold lyrical 140 banger, Slum. With a backbeat that snaps harder than a pool of piranhas and an atmosphere like the dark side of the moon, the Manchester producer creates the ideal soundboard for Illaman to spit fire showcasing exactly why he is considered one of London's hottest vocal talents. Witty wordplay and savage put downs in the verses are traded for sinister hooks and memorable refrains - all executed with a dynamite flow. 'This is a different calibre.' Come get it.
