Surabhi marks the first compilation release from the label, bringing together a carefully curated group of artists whose work reflects a shared sensitivity to depth, movement, and atmosphere. Featuring music by David Rue, Dexter Crowe, Evan Hatfield, Hrag Mikkel, Kon Faber, Kora, Nhii, Sarkis Mikael, and Wild Dark, the compilation moves across textures and tempos while maintaining a cohesive emotional thread. The title Surabhi is drawn from Sanskrit, referencing the divine cow in Hindu tradition, a symbol of gentleness, protection, compassion, and harmony between humans and the natural world. These qualities serve as the conceptual backbone of the release, guiding both its musical landscape and its intention. This compilation is an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect, with the music, with each other, and with the world that holds us.

Presenting its second edition of 2026, Purified Records delivers the latest installment of its integral Fragments series. Featuring three fresh cuts that embody the label's sonic identity, Purified presents 'Fragments XXXV'. Boasting decades of experience across the global club scene, and a host of heavily rotated releases on leading imprints, Italian melodic techno duo Alfa Romero make their Purified debut with 'Step By Step' featuring London-based vocalist Run Rivers. Channeling the energy Alfa Romero brings to their live performances, 'Step By Step' exudes raw emotion through Run Rivers' globally recognised vocals, which feature on tracks by Tinlicker, Chicane and Heard Right (on Purified), and on television shows including CSI, Vampire Diaries, Suits and True Blood. Up next, Bonn-based electronic artist Schoonebeek teams up with German singer-songwriter Stella von Lingen for their mesmerizing label debut, 'Signs'. Anchored by Stella's enchanting vocals, this club-ready creation explores shifting textures and emotional heights, holding listeners in its spell throughout. With a career spanning nearly two decades, Schoonebeek has released on reputable labels such as Poesie Musik and played major festivals like Panama Open Air and World Club Dome. Stella von Lingen is celebrated not only for her standout vocal contributions to electronic and deep house releases, but also for her own compositions in the alternative pop and indie pop world, shaped by her passion for the piano and melancholic sound. Closing the compilation with a monumental collaboration, Turkish producer and label owner Sezer Uysal joins forces with Brazilian artist Bolth for 'Purified'. Uniting their sounds in a striking and immersive arrangement, 'Purified' finds its perfect home on the label. Reaching Beatport's coveted Top 100 with many of his remixes and originals, Sezer Uysal continues to command the scene with his distinctive sound. Sharing the decks with the likes of Maceo Plex and Stephan Bodzin, and gaining support from industry greats such as Eric Prydz and Pete Tong, he has released on many of the scene's top imprints, including his own Theory X. No stranger to the label, Bolth's hybrid sound design has earned him over a billion streams, as well as support from artists like Tale of Us and Vintage Culture. A visual representation of the compilation's depth and untamed energy, the 'Fragments XXXV' artwork displays a powerful photograph of grey reef sharks swimming throughout the vast ocean, captured by Rachel Moore (@moore_rachel). Sharks play a vital role in keeping ocean ecosystems healthy by maintaining balance in the food chain and supporting overall marine biodiversity. They face serious threats from overfishing, bycatch, habitat loss, and the global demand for shark fins and other products. The Shark Trust focuses on safeguarding sharks, skates, rays and their relatives through science, education, influence and action. Rachel is a professional underwater photographer and environmental advocate dedicated to capturing the wonders of marine life. With a special focus on the grace and intelligence of humpback whales, her storytelling inspires a deeper connection to the ocean and a commitment to its preservation.
