Music should tell a story, and with 'Once Upon A Time,' I wanted to capture a spirit that felt reminiscent of a better time. Where we all lived as one family with no division. Where everyone had what they needed to be happy without being told what to do. Everyone could work independently throughout the week, feeding their families and raising their young ones, and at the weekends, come together to rave and celebrate. This, in my mind, is the soundtrack to that place.

'Outlier Dub' showcases how simple drum and bass music can be, and how few components are needed to produce a strong composition. SPADOK, meaning Legacy, brings together some of Ukraine's most formidable neurofunk talent for a release built around heritage, identity and resilience. Ukrainian neurofunk powerhouses Agressor Bunx, Paimon, CrucifyMe, Phenom and TheLena join forces on an EP created not only to showcase the strength of Ukraine's drum & bass scene, but also to remind the world of Ukraine and the ongoing war that continues to shape the lives of millions. Across six tracks, uncompromising neurofunk production collides with elements of Ukrainian culture, folklore and haunting vocal performances. Ukrainian singers July Vitraniuk and Darka lend their voices to two of the tracks, connecting traditional influences with the darker, futuristic sound of modern neurofunk. For Valkyrie Music, SPADOK is more than a release. We stand with Ukraine and are deeply honoured to provide a platform for this exceptional group of Ukrainian artists. All income received by Valkyrie Music from the SPADOK EP will be donated to Ukrainian charities.

For their final single before the release of their guaranteed-to-be-monumental 'Welcome to the Jungle' album, Speaker Louis and G-Class have teamed up with RjD on the buttons and the mighty Da Fuchaman on the mic. All junglists and DnB heads know how irresistible authentic dancehall vocals combined with a body-moving riddim and weighty basslines can be, and this is a perfect example of the craft.
