Wild Dark is Corey Negrin, NYC-based DJ and producer ( Formerly the Negrin brothers, now Corey solo) who has spent over two decades weaving tales on the dancefloor. With a knack for turning electronic music into a narrative experience, Wild Dark has made a name by blending a vast array of sounds into something fresh and memorable. Wild dark teams up with Ariaan Olieroock under the Ariaano or 16BL moniker, making waves on labels like , Flying Circus and IAMHER Records with releases such as their standout remix of Husa & Zeyadas Inside Out, and original hit Always on Anjunadeep. Ariaan formerly was one of the founding members of Cubicolor. Laparwa means irresponsible. I dont do life on time. Or love. Or stability. I dont want a shiny routine, fixed answers, or someone elses version of success that looks good from the outside , what a 30 something life should be. Im an artist. Ive failed. Im rebuilding. Im excited. Im broke. Not married. I am chaotic. Not normal. Socially awkward, loud, and unapologetic… free. Free. And free. But are you though? Judging me for what? I guess somehow not choosing the right age, right time makes me irresponsible, because I dont fit your version of how my life could be? Seriously, yuck. No. Im good, thanks. Id rather keep failing than to fit into little miss perfect something.

Aaaah, the Selador Showcase series…How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. Yes folks, it's that time and place where Seladorian stalwarts and the freshest new talent rub shoulders across a handpicked selection of dancefloor dynamite. Innit. To ensure the unwavering attention of an expectant world, our Showcases these days are small, perfectly formed, and split into instalments – 4 top tunes (count 'em). Here's how yer runners & riders line up for Vol 22 / Pt.1: Kelsey Valentine – Get into the Music A swift Selador return for the dynamic duo, very much on a streak of the hot variety. A naggingly familiar vocal refrain sits atop whipcracker percussion, a bassline that is funkier than a mosquito's tweeter, and vintage rave stabs. Nick Varon & Deekay - Kismet(a) Was it just by chance - could this be kismet? It would certainly appear so, as these very welcome Selador debutants, veterans of labels like Sudbeat and Balance, deliver a rambunctious riff heavy pure peak time monster. Fordal – Luminize Another dizzyingly devilish debut, as the man from Forensic (one of our fave labels) showcases his trademark intricate, layered sound. Menacingly magnificent, this one takes you to the deepest recesses of the dancefloor via its elevated electronica. Gai Barone & Nick Stoynoff – Post Boutique Two of the most revered names in the scene right now…together? Ambassador, you spoil us! If 'boutique' conjures up images of bespoke style, we can tell you 'post- boutique' equals a dark, throbby yet mercilessly melodic musical masterclass. Essential. Team Selador - show offs x
For the sixth release on the Heels of Love catalog, Jame C delivers Italo Treno, a two-track EP that highlights the versatility and creative consistency of the Minas Gerais based producer. Rooted in Deep House and Deep Tech references, the record explores well-defined grooves that shift between contemplative and dancefloor-oriented moods, marking Jame C's debut on the label with a direct and refined statement. Born in Belo Horizonte, Jame C is one of the standout names from a new generation of producers. Despite his young age, his creative potential and musical vision have already caught the attention of key figures on the global scene, including artists such as Mochakk, Jamie Jones, and Chloe Caillet. This recognition has helped establish him as a producer in constant evolution within the Brazilian electronic music landscape. Drawing influences from hip hop, fusion jazz, and disco, Jame C has developed an identity that balances classic house and deep house synths and timbres. The title track 'Italo Treno' is an invitation to immersion, offering a smooth encounter with deep house grooves. The sub-bass locks seamlessly with the track's subtly percussive rhythm, while the classic lead synth tone expands the melody in a balanced way, adding movement and dynamism as it interacts with the other elements of the arrangement. 'Num Da' completes the release with an added extra layer of dancefloor energy. Here, Jame C pushes the groove further through a more pronounced bassline, opening space for a compelling interplay of elements, from classic house-flavored pads that evolve throughout the track to a synth line that stands out through distortion and variation. A strong cut designed to set the dancefloor in motion.
D'Julz presents a new album under the JV banner - a project built from a place of total creative autonomy. Launched in 2019 as a vinyl-only imprint dedicated exclusively to his own productions, JV quickly became a laboratory where he could dig into every corner of his musical DNA. Deep house, tech house, progressive touches, breakbeat - all folded together without rules, without genre policing, and always anchored by that unmistakable D'Julz groove and decades of dancefloor instinct. The album brings this journey into focus. It gathers rare cuts from the JV catalogue alongside brand-new exclusive versions, extending the narrative that has been quietly taking shape over the years. It's the sound of an artist working on his own terms, free from expectation, pushing his language further while keeping it firmly aimed at the floor. And there's no more fitting home for this release than Bass Culture, the label that has carried his musical vision since day one. Now JV steps out of the shadows of the vinyl underground and into the spotlight with a full album release, ready to be shared with the wider world.
