The third single from Made By Pete's debut album 'I Remember' sees him join forces with Blindsmyth for the second time after their single 'Run With Me' was released on Bedouin's Human By Default imprint in 2024. That same summer, Blindsmyth visited made By Pete's studio in London to record a live version of their single. On day 2, a short studio jam created the foundations of what would become 'I Remember'. 'Simon was playing some chords on the Moog Matriarch and because it's paraphonic, the voicing was changing randomly with each key press. It created a really interesting tone that we both loved. A few weeks later when I revisited the project and added the drum break which really brought the idea to life.' The idea sat dormant for over a year until it was sent to London singer songwriter Kyozo. His lush tones added the missing part to the puzzle and brought the record up to where it stands today. 'It's by far the 'happiest' sounding record on the album and that's not usually an adjective I would use to describe my music. I absolutely loved it but still felt the need to create another version that would be more suited to my DJ sets. This is where the 'Other Mix' was born.'
