Two producers, two continents of underground sensibility, meeting somewhere in the middle.\n\nHailing from Mexico, Muuk' began his journey in electronic music in 2015, honing his skills at the renowned Monnrom Academy before building a career defined by collaborations with labels like Natura Viva, Tanzgemeinschaft, Traum and more recently UV. Coming from the more hypnotic end of the techno spectrum, recently his sound has evolved and has been gearing more towards Progressive labels like inU and UV and now landing on HIGHER STATES. \n\nJuan Buitrago, born in Ibagué, Colombia in 1990 and now based in Buenos Aires, came to electronic music through an unusually wide door: childhood listening sessions of disco, progressive rock, Daft Punk and Deep Dish progressed into slowly being pulled into the more underground styles of electronic dance music. This resulted in a sound built on warmth and precision, where analogue hardware meets digital finesse to create immersive, intricate soundscapes. That sensibility has earned him releases on The Soundgarden, Balance Music, UV, Mango Alley and Juicebox.\n\nMuuk's structural weight combined with Buitrago's narrative warmth results in a release that refuses to sit comfortably in one lane. Its techno-ish at the core, but with a heart still beating underneath, Progressive House with its spine slightly stiffened.
