Forward Music

Our twenty-seventh adventure into Ethereality looks back at All That Lingers from the long, hot summer. Jakhira and Ben Monday join forces for the second time, following the surging Spring Tide. They are joined by Danish debutant Rasmus Vels on remix duties. Tribal rhythms and old-skool stabs set the tone of the original mix, with beautiful bansuri flutes adding a sweet sensation. Pristine plucks and serene strings lift the breakdown into the clouds before an organic and alluring arpeggio begins the skydive straight onto the dancefloor. Rasmus Vels introduces himself with soothing ethereal vibes. Massive reverbs induce a dreamlike state as he wonderfully weaves magical melodies in and out. Sizzling synths filter and modulate with punctual precision, creating a captivating climax and taking us off to the races.
