Legendary Swiss DJ/producer Deetron serves up the second release on Mutual Rytm Raw in true old school style, delivering a trio of cuts for all hours of the night. Deetron is a venerated veteran who has been crafting sublime house and techno for three decades on a range of influential labels. 2025 brought another busy year for him, with another standout EP on Ilian Tape followed by his latest album which landed via Running Back in October. Back in 2024, he dropped his Translate Rhythms EP on Mutual Rytms X series and now takes charge of the second release on SHDWs new sub-label Mutual Rytm Raw - following the first 12 You And Me, which was a true summer anthem courtesy of KiNK & Raredub. In its original form, the bright, expressive Flow is a fulsome techno cut that pairs a driving rhythm with sophisticated synths. It sparkles with cosmic energy, while a textured, screwy lead winds through the mix and euphoric female vocals burst out to big emotional reactions. The Chord Dub is a tight, bouncy rework with vamping chords lighting up the drums with real warmth and soul, while the Breakbeat Mix fizzes with rich, old school energy. The dusty breakbeats demand physical reactions, while the pads bring a grand sense of scale and the vocals tug at the heart. All three are classy, effective and offer yet more timeless sounds.

Ribé & Roll Dann serve up potent techno on Mutual Rytm with Virtus Occulta. Built around concepts of unacknowledged work and enduring merit, the release marks their first EP on SHDWs widely respected label. Based in Toledo and Madrid, Ribé & Roll Dann are exciting residents at Laster Madrid and Lanna Club, two of Spains leading venues. Emerging as driving forces in their national techno scene, they have also made an impact on the global landscape, making wider moves through collaborative releases on Klockworks, and individual outings on a number of other influential labels. Having previously featured in the labels Federation of Rytm IV compilation, the pair make their full EP label on SHDWs Mutual Rytm imprint to open March with a deep dive into their expansive sound. Opener Sub Terra is a pure club tool that is direct, physical and rooted in the underground with a seriously heavy low end. Extra Lumen is more restrained but still built on a steady, forceful rhythm with controlled energy that prefers to operate in the shadows. Ars Non Placens stays true to the idea that music is not made to please, but to exist on its own terms with hunched drums and dubby undercurrents. Next, Meritum Negatum fizzes with static electrical charge and minimal drum funk and is a direct reflection on overlooked skill and unacknowledged work, before closer Virtus Persistens delivers a continuity and a steady pulse rather than an explosive ending, keeping you locked throughout. In addition, three digital bonus cuts come alongside the vinyl package. Labor Inauditus speaks to hours of technique, production and booth experience that remain invisible. Next come the taught, rubbery rhythms and unrelenting atmosphere of Silentium Testium, while Sine Aplausu - which means without applause - brings a ghostly late night vibe that you will never want to end.

ANNĒ and Sera J close their Symbiosis series on Mutual Rytm with third and most refined EP yet. This final chapter reflects everything the collaboration has stood for across a trio of inventive techno releases on SHDWs imprint. Creative and life partners ANNĒ and Sera J have been two voices growing in parallel, evolving separately but moving with the same pulse. ANNĒ is well established thanks to standout EPs on the likes of Soma and Hardgroove, while Sera J has released on the likes of Life in Patterns and Renegade Methodz, and both have featured on Mutual Rytms Federation Of Rytm series before now. Symbiosis III is the moment where everything comes full circle: the culmination of a journey built on respect, creativity, and the freedom to explore their own paths while lifting each other forward. Sera J kicks off with Ransomware, a commanding and driving techno cut lit up with flashy synths but always moving with urgency. Phosphate keeps the energy levels high with stripped-back drums and bass designed to perfection, while Anthrax has an anxious edge. The synths are wispy but evocative as bass kills and swiping filters bring the drama. ANNĒ then ups the ante with the acid-tinged Dementia, which is loopy and unrelenting before A Taste of a Real Woman gets more seductive with a sultry spoken word and sustained chords that bring the paranoia. Heart Rate is propulsive with Detroit-style synth soul and an aching vocal, before Sera J returns with On the Run - a percussive, trippy and eerie roller. His final Cut Similar Minds has a searching synth surveying a desolate landscape, before ANNĒ then closes the EP with the punchy drum patterns and icy hi hats of Primal Howl Of Ego and a blend of deep drums and evocative synth work on the Analog Heartbeat - which proves potent techno can be beautiful.
