After well over a decade of friendship and musical symbiosis, Perfect Stranger and Sphera seal their bond with their brand new alias, 'A Perfect Sphere' - introducing their first single, "Kit Cut". Drawing their inspiration from old school techno structures, the duo channels the raw spirit of those days into a take on the dancefloor experience that is unmistakably their own. As the composition progressed, an additional mischievous recording became an unlikely palette of rough textures, clipped hits and suspiciously familiar noises. Originally named after something sweet, it soon developed a nose for trouble, and a dirty stomp. "Kit Cut," a joint release between Digital Structures and Stereo Society accompanied by remixes from HypoGeo, Jedidiah, and One Million Toys, marks the first taste of A Perfect Sphere's forthcoming album, 'Audio Soul'. For over a decade, French producer Ewake has been carving out his own corner of the psychedelic tech spectrum, moving comfortably between deep, stripped-back minimal tech and darker, more progressive dancefloor intensity. That versatility has always been part of what forms the Ewake sound. With 'There Was A Sine', he introduces himself to the Digital Structures stables, and there's a little more history behind this one too. Digital Structures is what first pulled Ewake into the world of psychedelic tech. Around ten years ago, he was already knocking on the DS door, hoping to one day become part of the story.. Fast forward a decade, a lot of music, evolution and festival appearances later, that door is officially open. 'There Was A Sine' sees Ewake channel this journey with Digital Structures, into an EP that moves through the different shades of his sound, balancing deep psychedelic detail, rolling tech grooves and subtle moments of that broodier progressive energy, whilst carrying his unmistakable sonic character that made us take notice in the first place. "Sweet Water Dolphin" remains one of the most iconic tracks from Perfect Stranger's Free Cloud album. Unlike many of his other celebrated works, this masterpiece hasn't seen a myriad of remixes. In fact, since 2012, no one has attempted to remix this track except for Yuli Fershtat himself and... Eitan Reiter, the mastermind behind the Out of Orbit project. Ever since Eitan completed his original remix in 2019, this comeback has been in the works. We at Digital Structures have been patiently waiting, and now, in 2026, we can confidently say that the long wait was absolutely worth it! The Out of Orbit Remix of "Sweet Water Dolphin" masterfully blends elements from across multiple genres. The result is a driving, hypnotic, and deeply emotional Psy-Thriller. Enjoy!
