An artist with a select but impressive clutch of releases to his name, Franco Camiolo marks his Clubsonica return with the "We Come / Torch" EP. A single remix comes from another returning artist. Born and raised in the sprawling cosmopolis that is Buenos Aires, Franco Camiolo was influenced by a range of electronic music genres before gravitating towards Progressive and Deep House. Finding his way onto a select group of high-profile imprints, a debut on Paul Hazendonk's MNL in late 2022 has subsequently seen original and remix production material for Nick Warren's The Soundgarden and Paul Thomas' UV Noir. A debut for Juan Pablo Torrez's label then saw "Over The Time" released as part of "Clubsonica Sampler, Vol. 2" quintet in December 2022. Now returning courtesy of a new twin-track EP, "We Come" is a silky-smooth progressive gem that rolls effortlessly across its 8-minute timeframe with an effervescent percussive top line that builds in its intricacy and mesmerizing groove. Subtle melodies gradually filter into sonic range, coming to the fore at the stripped-back midpoint with ethereal vocal phrasing before dropping back into the dynamic rhythmic collage. Partner track, "Torch", is a deep, dark offering with its brooding sub-bassline and thumping beat, as off-beat hats and shakers providing dancefloor urgency. A trio of remixes for Clubsonica in the past 12 months have seen reworkings for Edwin Ajtun & Gudi's "Amor Fati" and JFR & Lucas Zárate's "Siamba", while a third now sees a return to the label with a majestic interpretation of "We Come". Retaining the rhythmic intensity of the original with a deep and infectious groove, an angular bassline sequence is accompanied by the diaphanous vocal pads from Franco's work as they are brought to the fore in calm fashion. Developing easily, the remix maintains its intensity as a breakdown replete with effects and white-noise washes is followed by a superbly stuttered vocal and bass combination denouement. Dropping back into the smooth rhythmic foundation of earlier phrases, Matthew's remix encapsulates his impressive production credentials in an intelligently imagined reworking. Hailing from Rosario in Southern Sante Fe, Ignacio Hernández has been a long-time devotee of dance music. Self-taught with a particular focus on the Progressive House genre, his dynamic and unique approach has led to a well-crafted sound, sought-after by a range of blue-chip imprints. With early work signed to UY! Records in 2022, the Argentine producer has gone on to see a clutch of releases signed to the likes of South American Avenue and Future Avenue. Moreover, a prolific 2025 saw a raft of tracks featured on Or Two Strangers, 3rd Avenue and the Beatport number one-selling, Mango Alley. Supported by such esteemed industry figures as Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn and fellow countrymen Mariano Mellino, Antrim and Nicolás Rada, Ignacio Hernández now makes his debut on Juan Pablo Torrezs Clubsonica.
