Pakate Records hits release number 20 with a brand-new EP featuring one of the freshest newcomers of the year. With a string of successful releases which culminated in his Hot Creations debut, British talent Goosey has rapidly established himself as one to watch after relocating to Barcelona a couple of years ago, making bomb after bomb right next to Jean Pierre's studio. He now joins Pakate with "Fat Shaker" EP featuring a collaboration with his partner in crime Jamie G and recent Paradise b2b mate FIFI FORTE. The lead track is indeed a fat dancefloor heater, where a full-bodied bassline drips underneath numerous layers of shakers, hats, rolling percussions, and hypnotic vocal chops, whilst "Body Movement" on the b-side expresses Goosey's signature sound at its maximum, with bubbling bass, electro-ish synths, and rubbery drums.

Moan proudly welcomes Brazilian talent Marian (BR) — already known for his standout releases on Hottrax and Mood Child — with his fresh new Soprano EP. This powerful release features two killer tracks: Soprano, driven by a groovy bassline and hypnotic vibe, and Electric Language, featuring the stunning vocals of Samira. A must-have for every dancefloor — dont miss it!
South African-born, UK-based producer Kyle Watson makes his debut on Black Book Records with ‘Bad Luck / Feel’—a dynamic two-track EP that showcases new range to his trademark blueprint. Watson experiments with form, relying on blistering basslines, fierce drumwork, and avant-garde vocal processing to throw visceral punches to the gut. The EP sees him honing in on the foundations of his unmistakable sound, while challenging listener expectations with exhilarating finesse. On the A-side, Bad Luck features Nevve, a rising force in tech house known for a signature vocal style that fuses spoken cadence, melody, and rebellious energy. With collaborations alongside Max Styler, San Pacho, Dillon Francis, Matroda, and more, the Nevve collective has long been a staple in electronic music. Their rhythmic topline cuts through intricate percussion, setting up a club-geared storm and giving way to a shapeshifting, almost human-like synth that drives the track into beast mode. On the B-side, Feel puts Watson’s familiar fingerprints front and center—dark, rolling, and infectious. Pitched-down vocals and surging sirens build tension before a stripped-back outro leaves percussion in the spotlight, closing with pure peak-time allure. For over a decade, Watson has carved a distinct lane in the global house scene. His intentionally niche, specialist approach—melding slick sound design, chunky basslines, and precision drums—has earned industry co-signs from heavyweights like Chris Lake, John Summit, and Gorgon City, while fueling upcoming tour stops across North America, South Africa, and Australia. Beyond releases on coveted imprints like Defected, Catch & Release, Sink or Swim, and more, Watson also co-runs Box Of Cats, and launched his own imprint, No Context Records, in 2023—both hubs for bass-driven, left-of-center house music. Now with his latest offering, Watson rounds out his discography with a track that aptly reflects the range of his ear, and lands in great company on Black Book Records.
Buka is back on Diynamic with the two-tracker EP Hot 2 Deff and its pure party energy. The title track hits like the first shot of the night - heavy-to-the-front synths and playful, commanding vocals that push you straight to the front row. One Touch is the sneaky, dreamy twist - cheeky, hypnotic and made to pull every wild move out of you. Built for massive soundsystems, packed crowds and nights that dont quit, this EP delivers two rounds of unstoppable, floor-shaking energy
Hot prospects Sonata Collective land their debut release on Sola with a two-track EP inspired by their boiler-room-style set at Rave Per Minute this summer. Lead track I Need channels the iconic deep house sound of the 2010s with a vibrant, syncopated synth line and longing vocal, while Down To The Sound dials up the energy, drawing from 90s rave influences for a fresh, peak-time banger driven by a deep groove and infectious drum pattern. Perfect selections for an intimate party vibe.

At the end of last year Souler gave Clarisse three head turning tracks: right on time again for 2025, the Spaniard repeats the prescription with another trio of tantalising funky house cuts, set up for sunshine but just as potent when shadows start stalking you. Last year Souler stepped through The Night; now its the turn of a Latin-edged Night Walk - a funk fatale picturing the scene of clubbers squirming around one another when the glitterball fades to black, only guided by a seductive, suggestive bassline swing and ghosting snippets of sure-of-themselves raps. With Delincuentes on the loose, Souler scans the dancefloor through night vision goggles and lays down bongos n bass, vocals hinting at tricks and treats and small but powerful chord flourishes. Add the sense of someone or something breathing down your neck and this has plenty of extended Halloween alchemy running through its veins. When in doubt, get your Trumpet Out, Souler showing drive and groove that gets straight down to the nitty gritty. A slick slither, with the horns in question casually crowning its magnetic mystery, Souler sits pretty on his royal throne-as-DJ booth, advancing with mascara-heavy whispers and mischievous key stabs. A threesome for when the funky, fabulous and freaky come out.
Following his standout EP, Dont Stop and the infectious single Follow Me on FTTF35, Max Styler makes a powerful return to Diynamic in collaboration with up-and-comer Deomid with two heavy-hitting, indie dance and tech house-infused cuts for the club. The release opens with Every Night — a confident, rolling cut charged by a powerful kick and wobbling synths, layered over a warm, driving rhythm. Its the kind of track that sparks the floor just as the night settles in — playful but locked, with a subtle late summer tension simmering underneath. Get Down follows with intent, bringing the heat with punchy low-end and sharp percussion. Warped vocals melt into the rhythm, and just when you think its peaked, it dives even deeper. With this two-track release, Max Styler and Deomid prove their command of the dancefloor — precise, powerful, and impossible to ignore.

This compilation gives you the best of our releases from the past year so that you can enjoy some prime Glasgow Underground at a very reasonable price. Trallez returns to Black Book Records with 'Ladies & Gentlemen'. It's an expertly-crafted track with an unforgettable vocal hook that makes for an exhilarating exercise in restraint. Already earning plays from the likes of Mochakk, Beltran, Classmatic and more, the track has made setlist appearances at Circoloco, Hard Summer, and Jolene Miami, among others. On remix duties is LA-based producer and Black Book alumni, TOBEHONEST, who showcases a refreshingly mature facet to his growing discography through the edit. He weaponizes the ID even further, dousing the pack in undeniable playability, regardless of which track you press play on. The arrangement of the original is the definition of a cheeky game of 'come hither' its lean, stripped-back production allows the synth melodies and percussive swagger to loom large, setting up for the commanding vocal. The single follows the release of his Pop It Low EP alongside Viot back in 2023, where the Brazilian prodigy quickly made himself known among deep tech's most revered, earning nods from Jamie Jones, Loco Dice, The Martinez Brothers, and more. TOBEHONEST's take on 'Ladies & Gentlemen' sees the producer reworking it entirely, shifting its sound and feel into a warm, energetic, and playfully quirky interpretation. The producer layers organic textures in the percussion, drawing notable influence from the rising Tel Aviv house circuit. Irresistibly groovy and impressive, the producer strikes a satisfying balance between adding serious credibility to his discography, while still preserving the impact of the original track. This is Trallez in full stride, pulling from the deeper ends of tech house with a precision that belies his relatively short tenure in the game. At once nostalgic and unmistakably modern, 'Ladies & Gentlemen' showcases two must-know tastemakers at their finest, and offers a north star on where the underground circuit is headed: globally influenced, deeply rhythmic, and credible at the core.
