New year, same energy. Tamango Records kicks off 2026 with a brilliant, sparkling EP by AMMIL. Hailing from Nijmegen, Netherlands, he is part of the new wave of Dutch talents taking over the scene. After releases on Franky Rizardo’s LFT, DENSER, and Reecords, he now makes his Tamango Records debut with “Play Funky” EP. As you might have guessed from the title, this EP is all about the freshest avant-garde rolling house with three playful originals designed for the clubs. With each cut featuring shuffling house grooves, funky basslines, and catchy vocals, AMMIL provides the perfect soundtrack for club nights and busy morning afters — no better way to start the year.
Walking into a new year with the same grit and fuel that have characterised the Take Notes journey since the very beginning, UK’s rising talent Louis Millne is next with a brand new gunpowder tune. Featuring early 2000s hip-hop vocals and the usual gloomy, rolling Take Notes trademark vocals, Louis Millne, who already has his music released on our TNT sub-label, DOSMUNDOS, and Issues, to name a few, delivers a high-octane minimal tech roller. On the remix duties, the boss Mahony returns with his first remix since the label opened, and the result is precisely what is expected: a deeper, darker take on Millne’s track with tight grooves, muffled bass, and his usual dose of club energy.

First teased on TikTok after a studio session this summer, Hold It Down (DARE) is Layton Giordanis monster tech house cut sampling Gorillaz iconic original tune. The third release on Laytons imprint MADMINDS, this record follows Call You Back (Layton Giordani, GENESI, Be No Rain), which has climbed to Beatports overall #5 and #2 on tech house top 100 charts in its first two weeks–with 321k streams across all platforms in the first 10 days. Hold It Down (DARE) saw viral pickup on the original sound via TikTok and has become one of Laytons most-requested IDs after he and the likes of John Summit have been unleashing it on stages across the world.
Volkoder makes his Diynamic debut with the 15th edition of Picture, a special six-track release presented in two parts, each featuring three tracks. Part 1 opens with All Night Long, driven by a crisp, clean kick rolling over a wobbling bassline, promising peak-time tension from the first bar. Move Baby doesnt rush in, it arrives sideways, swinging and loose, carrying an understated, playful groove that quietly pulls you deeper into the night. As Pulled Down closes the EP, the energy gently winds down. Bright, glowing synths float over light percussion, driven by a steady kick that feels like the last moments of sunset. Its the sweet finish, the cocktail at the end of the night, leaving the room warm, satisfied and wanting one more track.
Mood Child unveils Tropical Moods, a seven track release designed as an escape into warmth, rhythm, and glowing horizons. Rooted in percussive house and wrapped in humid atmospheres, the project channels beachside days, golden sunsets, and late night gatherings where the air is thick and the groove never cools down. Pushing the labels sound further into organic and rhythm driven territory, Tropical Moods blends rolling drums, dreamy textures, and hypnotic melodies that feel tailor made for open skies and barefoot dancefloors. Each track carries a sense of movement and heat, evoking memories of summer nostalgia, coastal rituals, and deep parties hidden among palm trees and mangroves. The release marks the return of Mood Child regulars Matias Di Genaro and Bobby & Djenko, whose contributions anchor the project with familiar warmth and finesse. Alongside them, the label welcomes a new wave of artists making their Mood Child debut. Enrico Caruso, Afain, Jack Simo, Herrera (ES), Nico Fleitas, and Ruso Eyh each bring their own tropical perspective, adding fresh colors, textures, and grooves to the imprints evolving identity. Tropical Moods is an invitation to slow down, turn up the heat, and drift into a world where percussion leads the way and the groove feels endless.

Carloh's Secretos are no longer such a secret. A long awaited release from the South American artist, two quiet weapons in the hands of those who know. 'Secretos' has been a firm fixture in Luciano's sets since the start of summer and it's no surprise why. Deep and pulsating, the beat is laced with the Latin rhythms we love, slick percussion rolling beneath a hypnotising melody. The break stretches the tension just right, light chants leading the atmosphere before the seductive sound of the Spanish spoken word. Rounding out the release is a special collaboration with Luciano. 'Los Ninos de Fuera (2052 Version)' revisits a classic moment, reimagined with fresh energy and a heavier pulse. More than 15 years on, the spirit remains intact, moving from minimal roots into groove-heavy territory, with that unmistakable Spanish chant still echoing through the mix. A timeless sound, respectfully reworked for today's floor.

AlpaKa MuziK — Re:Transmissions 2025 Curated by label boss KOZY, Re:Transmissions 2025 is a deep-dive recap of a massive year for AlpaKa MuziK — a sonic snapshot of the moments, floors, and systems that defined 2025. With 220+ releases landing across the year, narrowing it down to 40 tracks was no easy task. Countless weapons, late-night rollers, peak-time stompers, and head-twisting journeys were left on the cutting-room floor — not for lack of quality, but because 2025 was simply stacked. This compilation represents the essence of that output: the tracks that traveled far, moved crowds, and captured the unmistakable AlpaKa style. Expect a carefully balanced flow of psy-tech, dark prog, techno-leaning hybrids, and forward-thinking psychedelia — showcasing both seasoned AlpaKa heavyweights and breakout moments from across the herd. Each selection tells part of the story: warehouse sweat, festival sunrise, underground pressure, and the relentless evolution of the labels sound. Re:Transmissions 2025 isnt just a best of — its a transmission back through the year that was. A thank-you to every artist, dancer, promoter, and listener who helped push the signal further. 40 bangers. 1 year. Uncompromised quality. This is AlpaKa MuziK — Re:Transmissions 2025.
