The third Cognitive Prophecy release is birthed, as label boss Skatman shares the fruits of his debut collaboration with Tal Fussman. The two artists met mid-way through 2022, quickly connecting over a shared musical philosophy and view on the scene. A succession of studio dates was the natural next step. The inspiring four tracker 'Do You', is the result. The title track is a transcendental dancefloor trip driven by organic grooves, while being weird in all the right places. No surprise it was a highlight of Dixon's Boiler Room at Printworks. 'Back to the Swamp' keeps the vibe subterranean, a rolling cheeky slice of prog made for late-night moments. Over the next two cuts, we're treated to solo efforts from the respective producers. Fussman crafts 'Freeze', which unfolds with delicate beauty, as layers of melody reveal themselves gradually, supported by a crunchy backbone of percussion. The perfect juxtaposition. Skatman takes the reigns to close with 'Telepathy', imbuing the driving track with a special energy that swings between the freaky and the celestial.

Deviated EP
TAU proudly welcomes Sam Shure to our planet of musical wonder and discovery. The Berliner has been making waves since 2016, carrying on his family lineage by taking up music (his father is a renowned Egyptian jazz musician). Over the past seven years, Sam's upwards trajectory has been buoyed by his natural talent and ability to weave organic sounds from a variety of sources into his productions. As a DJ and a producer, he embodies a worldly approach, utilising a myriad of sounds from around the globe to bring a distinctly human element to his compositions. The Deviated EP is Sam's introduction to the TAU fraternity and it's a stunning entrance from the Berliner... The title track kicks off this four-tracker with a menacing, though pensive vibe. A combination of jaunty digital elements and a vicious riff gives the track balance. Before we know it, there's a haunting, string-led breakdown, which gives us a little breather before we return to the ominous atmosphere. 'Frontal' is next, rolling out with a more pumping, tribal rhythm. Vocal clips and sounds are joined by the familiar funk of a 'wah wah' guitar, creating an effortless groove. Sam's technical ability and musicality really comes through with the short breakdown and gnarly second half, with a superb switch up. After that it's 'Maybe', which features more of Sam's exemplary drum programming. A soulful female vocal pops in and out of the background to give us a serenade. As the track progresses, it becomes more energised, an urgent riff drops in, and the vocals gain more prominence. By the time we enter the second half, the vibes are high and there's unbridled dancing... Lastly, 'See Yourself' takes it back to those primal, tribal elements with the beats going to work from the very beginning. A dense low end rumbles away, and a vocal clip appears intermittently to add dynamism to this cut. In typical style for Sam, this one progresses in a mesmerising manner. As he adds new layers of melody and harmony to the cut, the tension increases, and we're locked into its groove.

We were super happy when Prismode & Solvane showed up at our doorstep with a fresh track! We had previously unleashed "Changes," "Bala," "Zeus," and "Falar," and these releases always possessed a unique quality, a certain exchange of energy that occurred among them. Consequently, we were eagerly anticipating their latest recordings. Once we had the chance to listen, there was no doubt in our minds: this track is a massive crowd-pleaser! Watergate Records unveils its latest signing, as emerging Shanghai-based producer Final Request joins the label family. The enigmatic artist broke through by winning a remix competition held by the Afterlife signed KA:AST in 2020, before going on to impress with productions on Black Rose Recordings, Atlant and Oddity. Holding fans in high places, his music was championed by everyone from Solomun to Tale of Us and Adriatique, before quickly finding it soundtracking Tomorrowland and Awakenings, no less. Last year's "Fallen Enemies" EP on Diynamic earned an Essential New Tune on Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1 show and he's followed that up strongly with 'Alter Ego' and then 'Unmasked' in collaboration with Fur Coat, coming on Stil Vor Talent and Global Underground respectively. Needless to say, his Watergate Records debut feels perfectly timed. Introduced to the club by Ruede Hagelstein, Final Request impressed recently during his club debut at Watergate playing alongside Agents of Time and JAMIIE. "By Your Side" is made for big festival moments and built around a strong male vocal lead that highlights the track. A versatile composition that can work in a range of melodic techno, trance and prog scenarios. "The Lost Hawk" is punchier and more dynamic, as full bodied bass works in tandem with top-end chords to carry the emotion throughout. A stellar track!

It's been over two years since Cheric released his 'Indigo EP' on Manual Music and a year since he last appeared on the long running label, remixing one of the songs from Jaap Ligthart's Itaka album. But now he's back with two fresh cuts and Jaap Ligthart returning the favor on remix duties as Manual Music proudly presents 'Ina EP'. The release kicks off with the title track, a cleverly produced track that sits nicely in between deep / melodic / prog genres with it's warm and subtle Detroit-esque chords. A complex little dreamer this one, timeless quality cut! 'Bajuju' starts off in the same deal realm but quickly builds towards a piece of melodic progressive house delight with it's euphoric arpy melodies and fat- yet not overly fierce bassy synth work. Finally it's Jaap Ligthart's turn to switch 'Ina' into an uplifting and infectious progressive house groover. A peak time dancefloor pleaser this one. Another great one by the Dutch industry legend.

The first drop confirms what is actually clear from the first bars - Modern Rhapsody is a dancefloor filler and prepares us perfectly for the dawning club season. The bass is snappy and massages our eardrums, but at the same time rolls let fair. Relaxed synthesizers meet loose percussion. Again, the vocal that brings that emotional uplift along with the treble. Unagitated and at the same time with a considerable tension momentum. Neon , Successful! We let ourselves drift. Just like that. This part starts right away with a fire vocal - the bassline carries and doesnt need much. The percussions distorted with a loose reverb vibe, Red Storm grooves along stably. This track also makes you hungry for the dark dancefloors and bassy systems of our beloved indoor locations. A small-fine melody on the keys, soft-knocking bass and a dreamy-feminine voice that brings us nostalgic vibes. Digital Lavender also comes across as classic "electronic dance music" - in the best sense! Turn on, head off, dance!

We invite you to another chapter of Tour De Traum in its winter edition. Again new faces from distant parts of the world who are given a voice here, next to artists who appear on Tour De Traum regularly. We waste no time and kick it off with the first artist on the release: Adam Zasada combines in this house tune simply called "Love" beautiful lush melodies with accelerating sequenced tones. This multi layered composition features occasional feedbacks and noises on top of melancholic organ sounds to make it a deep dwelling electronic dance track. Kai Meyer has released with us in the past and does so again with his track "Rocker". The eventful track features a lot of drastic & dynamic mood changes and reminds us of the early Nick Dow releases on our label. Witness this adventurous voyage! Antigold triggers with "Rainbowland" ideas of domestic minimal house with a cool leftfield influence.It reminds us of the innovative period in German electronic music with labels such as Playhouse records where tracks shad a modern German new school approach combined with a cool understatement. The grinding organs of Kawari´s track "Golden Waterfall" gives way to a heavenly voice which surfs on the waves of tone sequences. This track has a nice progression and leads us to unknown territory which is something we like very much. Max Blücher directly jumps into a strong forward motion with sequences that remind us of some early German wave music. But be not mislead, the track then morphs into something very different and in-fact modern. "All These Little Things" manages to unite all these different moods into one explosive piece of fantastic melodic house & techno music. We welcome back DJ Endo with his new track "Take Off". Wer are fans of his music and are happy to feature here another fantastic piece of KRAUT music. We think here of Manuel Göttsching but we certainly know the comparison is a bit off. Nevertheless the minimalist German trance of the 70ies finds its home here. Call it progression or whatsoever it is done in a very sophisticated cool way. On top he sets exclamation marks with mighty lead sounds slicing through from time to time which is nice as well. Jimi Collen has more identities than any other artist we have ever met. Starting his career with his real name: Salih Yusuf, Jimi Moller and at least 5 more names and while we speak changed his name again, this time too: Jimi Killich. Anyway his track "Lost" is a perfect blend of a strange powerful beat that can cope with all DJ demands you can imagine. While it is still offering a musicality that fits to TRAUM. We think this is a strong track. We see the artist Pavel Kosmonaut evolving and getting better and better with each year. He has been featured by us for some years now on Tour De Traum and we are happy his new track "Ius Chasma" has turned out the way it has. Romance meets rave. The mighty meets the fragile! "Ius Chasma" is in its way a rollercoaster of emotions. SOUNDQ has written with "Body" a cool 80ies flavored anthem with vocals, 303 like sequences and mighty bass-lines. What sounds like a wild mixture ends up being exciting and new! We welcome back the French artist Cortexmaltex. Some might remember his solo EP on TRAUM and his contributions to Tour De Traum in the past. His new track "Peaceful" is really expressing that calm and romantic spirit it announces through the title. Slowley evolving it manages to establish this relaxed magic mood we really cherish. Henotik has written with "Some Distant Radio" a track with no stunts. Instead you get a slacker of a track! It features a cool rhythmic programming including a dirty down to earth bass-line, some played chords and last but not least heavenly strings on top. MRKX writes with "Nights" a gloomy atmospheric song. In the course of the track it turns more towards blooming melodies that remain relaxed and calm. Andy Moon creates with "Sleepwalker" a heavy forward motion that is powered by a monstrous excellent roaring sound. As he told us it is a "result of sound-shaping involving an electric guitar and synths with tons of effects" which in the course of the track is undergoing minor changes while melodies close in and cut through that sound. "Sleepwalker" is a cliffhanger. Bastien´s track "Presente" is modeled on the very popular early Detroit techno sound of Transmat & associates. Witness the cool visionary sounds in combination with his own sounds. You might know Jan Steiner from his album on TRAUM which was based on fairytales but his interest go many ways. For example his new track "Nychthemeron (Jan Steiner meets Jay Hosking Mix)" is originally a remix of Jay Hasking (comes here in a rework) and so is more rhythmic and electronic. It could as well be the soundtrack of a Dr Who episode. It is playful, surreal and fictional. Deep In Calm who has been on various Tour De Traum releases and has released his most successful track on TDT so far with more than 700 000 listeners on Spotify. This time he surprised us with "Infinite Light" a voyage of a track that is so loose and beautiful in its variations of melodies, it could compare to a drone flight through a mega large Dutch tulip field. Danjel Esperanza returns with "Am Strand der Schillerlocken". For all of you who like synth sounds in their purest shape there will love this track. It makes no concession to DJ music but shapes melodies and has them clash in a very inspiring way. Smirre delivers with his track "Erratum" a very lively and organic flow of melodies that cannot be foreseen by any means. It seems to be born out of a live music process which makes it so adventurous and exciting. Luis Padron has written with "Painting The Sky" maybe the most progressive house track on this compilation. It expends its wings in a slow motion process and that makes it possible to sneak into it as a listener and make it your home. Sonimun aka Numinos from Cologne provides us with his newest invention "Morning Walk" which could be described as synth pop disco hybrid. As always his production is inspiring. Sonimun teaches at the Folkwang Institute. Giddyhead from Buenos Aires returns to Traum with his new piece of music "Off The Wall". Slowly but carefully planting his steps the artist draws us into a world which slow changes lead us to places we could not foresee. This is the wonderful world of Giddyhead, an ambient soundtrack as well as a dance compass. St. Savor´s "Valley of Craters" could be described as narrative melodic house music with dreamlike passages always returning to a steady rhythm. XA3MAT "Scapes Of Nova" captures a romantic atmosphere offering a lot of brilliant complexity in the composition. Pak Sota has chosen with "Beatrice" a DJ friendly uptempo track which is likely to work well as a transition between trax in a DJ set. Soleeman has written a powerhouse track with "Front Of Me" that pulls all the tricks out of the hat. The sounds are very mighty and can cut through other sounds with ease. British artist returns to TRAUMwith "Hommage Too but we are not sure. Nevertheless a very adventure. Umo Fracto has been a frequent artist on Tour De Traum. His deep house style we like very much and also "Tersio" keeps up the quality. Canosa´s "Sensazioni" is melodramatic electronic music from Italy. We think it is genuine in its own category. Cockpitcrew´s "Desert Dawn" is a soundtrack of the desert. Synths that sound like crickets, acoustic sounds that announce the sunset and repetition of other sounds that express the space and time continuum. Broken Frame has composed "Wire To Nowhere" which is expresses a stage in which you are prepared for the next step to come, whatever it will be. It is a bit like a blank space which is to be defined. All this is quite emotional and exceptionally done well. So we hope you will lend your ear to this tune and we expect to hear more from this artist in the future. Popular Mechaniks has released dance music with us but this is an 12 minute piece of ambient music. Slowly evolving "Poin" gains more velocity at halftime and is very good to describe landscapes without borders. Any Shade of Green has contributed to Tour De Traum in the past. "Be Yourself" is a pure piece of exotic electronica. Bizarre and personal and totally walking in its own path. This is not fort he weak. Patrick Muschiol´s track "Rainforest At Night" expresses quite genuinely a feeling which could very well establish itself in your head when the dew is lifting in the forest. Emotional ambient music with a linear rhythm section all on a very high level. "A Day In Vienna" is not by Tuxedomoon or a wave band of the 80ies but it does carry sounds similar to what The Human League did and others of that time. Welcome the artists with the singular letter: Å.

Blazonique is a duo, DJs & producers with a futuristic and ethereal vibe very pleasant to the melodic techno scene. They have landed to our imprint with a 2-tracker stunning EP called "Indomitable" full of ethereal-synth perspective which is melting with the melodic techno-based sounds. "Indomitable" is composed by a diversity of sounds that allow us to perceive the harmony and the divine. A world without contrast and polarization is a blind world. The music tells us a story that begins with an engaging melody guiding our ears through a mysterious atmosphere, in which rhythmic elements are progressively presented until we reach a small break, giving us the feeling that something extraordinary will happen, then when our guiding melody suddenly disappears and darkness takes over our horizon, organic percussions and dark drones sneaky carry us to the climax of our experience: the warm touch of a rolling bass with oscillating cutoff associated with high-speed drums in a way that makes us dizzy! "Unstable Gravity" helps us activate a state of consciousness with a continuous and mesmerizing groove, in which an initially dark and shadowy atmosphere slowly transmutes into a bright dawn. The track explores melodic movements and strong tonalities, in a perfect combination of synth and bass, creating a melodic percussion that dictates the powerful rhythm. The result is just majestic.

Returning to the rhythmic soul of Brazil, we're proud to share with you our next release with the mesmerising talent of IAELL. A connection made during our time together amongst the sandy terrains and otherworldly soundscapes of Pratigi beach. The 'Far Away' EP features four-action packed progressive originals from IAELL accompanied by two incredible remixes by Aaron Suiss and André Gazolla. Each track on the release carries a distinctive pulse, channeling the ethereal essence of distant, far away realms. His new release "Zeig die Zahne EP" is a mesmerising musical journey into Van Siegertstein's playfulness and layered soundscapes. The title track is a smooth infusion of mysterious vocals and transformative synths, blending the light and the dark in a twirling wind of emotive build ups. All underlined by a catchy groove. "Here For Me" brings out the groovy cheekiness of Van Siegersteins' soundscapes that he is so loved and celebrated for. A dreamy and evolving synth leads the way while the dark bassline drives the track forward together with the excellent drum work. Soft vocals soar in the distance while the track builds up some big momentum. Last but not least everybody's favourite Criminal Bassline darling Daniel Jaeger joins the fun with a remix of "Zeig die Zahne". And he is not here to mess around. While skilfully working with and around elements from the original he pushes forward his signature bass-heavy sound, with dark synth lines that lead us in to a powerful drop.
