The 200th Release from SVR! Processing Vessel, is thrilled to announce the release of his latest single, Julia & Rosie. This track is a musical journey of Julia & Rosie, they are the dogs of Murat Vural aka Processing Vessel. The melodies are more on the Progressive but yet uplifting side of Electronic Music. Its like Deep House mixed with Underworld sounds, which creates a very unique vibe that is both fresh and introspective. To take it to another level of deepness, comes the remix of TshegoTMM. With its special groovy bass notes, rhythm that will make you move no matter what! Then comes L.G.V, the alter ego of Processing Vessel. This remix is more the juiced up version of the original. To end it comes Mark Mac, the expert of downtempo deepness. He gives it a calming touch, which ends the journey in a way that you get full satisfaction from the whole release.

Hailing from Manchesters vibrant music scene, iMarcus returns to Piston Recordings with the fantastic Find The Way, which follows his superb debut on the label back in May 2024 with Something About You. A dedicated DJ and producer, iMarcus enjoys blending genres like Deep House, House, Nu Disco, and Techno. Since 2017, his tracks have been signed to respected labels such as Antarctic Records, BBop Music, Phunk Traxx, and Maintain. With a focus on new releases and upcoming mix sessions, were delighted to welcome him back to the label. Find The Way gets us moving with thick, warm kicks that resonate with a rich, full-bodied sound, creating a solid foundation. Crispy hi-hats and rhythmic percussions weave intricate patterns, adding layers of groove and texture. Filtered vocals drift in and out, creating a hypnotic vibe as a deep, subby bassline rumbles beneath, providing a low-end groove that is both smooth and powerful. High strings float delicately above, introducing a subtle, uplifting contrast to the deep bass and gritty stabs that punctuate the mix with sharp intensity. Set My Soul On Fire rounds out the release, opening with a crisp and precise array of sharp percussions, where tight hi-hats and snappy snares instantly set a rhythmic, infectious groove. Punchy kick drums lock in with the percussion, giving the intro a driving energy while maintaining a clean, minimal vibe. Mesmerizing synth patterns soon emerge, weaving through the mix with a hypnotic quality, adding a sense of depth and atmosphere. Distant, ethereal vocals echo faintly in the background, creating an airy, dreamlike effect while a subtle, deep low-end bass adds warmth to the groove. A solid track for the late-night session.
Qubiko delivers a dynamic new release on 8bit Records with the Fear Of Missing Out EP, featuring four standout tracks. With a deep house vibe running throughout, this EP blends timeless energy with fresh, dancefloor-ready beats. distributed by HS Consulting & Distribution GmbH // Housesession GmbH

The time has come, we hit exactly 20 years since the launch of Dirt Crew Recordings back in 2004. An incredible journey lays behind us with so many discovered artists and even more amazing tunes we first heard as demo and brought to life either on Wax, CD or Digital. As we never look back too much we decided to not give you another Best of but instead drop 15 brand new tunes by early and more recent artists that have released with us in these past years. The result is a really broad spectrum of what makes up the style of the label, from Deep House to Disco and Electronica to Electro, these fifteen cuts represent the richness of dance music in our little universe. Dig into this playlist and discover the Dirt Crew sound. All tracks mastered by Salz Mastering in Cologne. Photography & Art by Break 3000.

Mid October welcomes the return of Amsterdams Easttown to Cécille with a fresh five- tracker entitled the Timeless EP. Dutch producer and DJ Easttown has been rapidly gaining recognition in the house music scene with his signature blend of sample-rich, disco-infused house. His tracks have been featured on renowned labels like Franky Rizardos LTF Records, Folamours House Of Love, and most notably Cécille, where he made a splash in April this year with his Chaos EP. The release garnered widespread acclaim and heavy rotation from top-tier artists such as Marco Carola, Fleur Shore, Franky Rizardo, Pawsa, and Dennis Cruz. With such a strong debut, theres every reason to keep an eye out for the follow-up to his most successful release to date. Title-cut Timeless leads with an amalgamation of swirling, intertwined synth lines, chuggy bass tones, sweeping filters and breathy vocals running atop a bouncy organic drum groove. Phunky follows and as the name would suggest infuses a funk energy via to a snaking bass groove, intricate congas and choppy guitar hits. On the flip-side, Slipstream strips things back to crisp drums, a bouncy bass groove, and fluttering arpeggios intertwined with plucked bass notes and chord stabs. Wavy then concludes the vinyl release on a more Disco House tip with airy keys, groovy bass licks and low-slung drums. Lastly to complete the EP, the digital bonus Balancing is offered up, embracing a more classic house feel with dubby stab sequences, robust swinging drums and swaying subs throughout.

Slump Recordings boss Baby Rollén adds to a glistening catalogue of remixes with a stripped and proggy take on James Curd's Feeling Mumbled. As well an impressive and consistent catalogue of releases and remixes, Baby Rollén's amassed a strong collection of DJ mixes and radio shows. He's guested for the likes of Ollie Rant, Hutch and Feel My Bicep's Swoose and has recorded solo mixes for Gottwood, Slothboogie and Origins; point being - he knows how to get it done in the booth and this remix certifies that notion unequivocally. His remix is an ultimately playable DJ tool; one that renders an after hours sunrise as chords bounce of the tracks surface like rays of light while tight, nifty shuffles interlock with a bouncing bass line. Like a morning salute, the track gently stretches out across it's duration with a magical intensity that stays far from boiling over but keeps you dialled in regardless. 'Next up, a bonafide legend of UK House steps in with his take on the original. Through his beloved and long-running Hudd Traxx label, Eddie's amassed a label roster that is nothing short of unfathomable. Herbert, Nightmares On Wax, Rick Wade, DJ Sneak and Chez Damier have all featured and his release catalogue is equally gilded having released music on Jovonn's Body n' Deep, Phil Weeks' Robsoul and Luke Solomon's Classic. The guy's CV alone gives us a hint as to what to expect and from the first few bars, it's clear to hear what we're in for: raw, bustling House that rolls out with beautiful energy whilst kicking and punching in all the right places.'

Klaus:elle co-founder Nici Faerber teamed up with Markus Homm in the studio, and what came out of it are two groovy house tracks. Dancing in the Fire is a catchy groove bomb, with a beat structure that is repeatedly interrupted by violin-synth stabs and vocals, which adds a refreshing and defining character to the track. Basement Room is a bit deeper and more hypnotic, maintaining the drive from the beginning and even adding another layer with the drop, without appearing overly ambitious. Playful vocals, which move from the reverb to the foreground and elevate the break, effortlessly blend into the rhythm and carry the track to the next level. The two remixes come from none other than Leeni & Danilo Kupfernagel, as well as the duo DP-6, a music project by Vadim Indigo and Alexey Filin, which has been around since 2000. Danilo & Leeni have already made a name for themselves on labels like Muna Musik, Bondage Music, Sublease Music, and 3000 Grad Records, and are in high demand as DJs.
Were delighted to have Paul Matic return to Piston Recordings with his latest release, Translations. A talented producer and multi-instrumentalist, Pauls passion for house music dates back to the late 80s when he was first drawn to the infectious energy of acid house. Since then, he has devoted himself to exploring house music in its many forms. Since 2016, Paul has been delivering exceptional tracks on renowned labels, with a focus on deep and tech house. This one follows his last effort here with Jazzmeen and we eagerly anticipate more from him in the future. The Original Mix opens with muted kicks and sharp claps that create a crisp contrast. Rustling percussions add an organic, live feel. As the track builds, striking saxophone notes cut through, while warm chords rise in the background. Punchy beats soon take over, driving the groove alongside deep, rumbling basslines. The sax intensifies, and melodic piano lines weave in, adding emotion and harmony to the mix. House music maestro Leandro Silva returns to Piston with a superb remix which follows his last outing here, Nada. Leandro continues to impress with his stellar sets at top parties and radio shows. On the remix here, Leandro gets down to business with thick, driving beats paired with a deep and groovy bassline that keeps the energy flowing. Striking sax riffs add a soulful and dynamic touch, while rhythmic percussions create an infectious groove. Mesmerizing chord pads blend seamlessly with dreamy atmospherics, wrapping the track in a hypnotic, immersive vibe that pulls the listener in. Top-notch stuff.
Hey yall, were here to announce that our beloved Kisk will be dropping a 4-track EP every month, featuring his tunes revamped and reshaped into radio edits. Aura Safari & Jimi Tenors sublime Sensory Blending album yields its first set of remixes on Hell Yeah as Balearic Beat dream team Reverso 68 aka Phil Mison and Pete Herbert serve up two mixes of Your Magic Touch. Reverso 68 is the studio-based project of Pete Herbert and Phil Mison, and over the last decade-plus, they have mastered the art of making music for swimming pools. Summer might be over, but the good times will live on with this superb trio of escapist jams.
Oops - we did it again. Heartwarming and soulful summer tunes, freshly cooked for your outdoor disco BBQ. Inhale Exhale presents INEX017, offering familiar dishes your granny couldnt have served better, but also featuring some fresh and extravagant spices.

Moods & Grooves taps into South Africas plentiful talent pool and welcomes the prolific and talented deep house producer Myazisto the stable. Known for his lush, soulful soundscapes and hypnotic beats, Myazistos unique fusion of minimalistic rhythms and immersive grooves now hits the analog world, offering fans a rich auditory experience. Myazistos first-ever vinyl release and US label debut features two immersive deep house tracks, Centuries and The Grove. Both releases showcase Myazistos unparalleled ability to blend soulful house rhythms with hypnotic beats and rich melodies. Centuries dives into timeless grooves, while The Grove takes listeners on a melodic journey through lush soundscapes, solidifying his place in the deep house scene.
The latest release from Crash Planet takes a dive into the deep end with the underground sounds of veteran techno, acid, breaks, deep house producer Itay Dailes. On this release, Itay gives us two visions of one concept. The Way It Was balances the line between deep house and deep dub techno. Floaty, dubby chords echoing over a rich bass-forward groove make this a head-down, sexy deep house necessity. All the vibes. All the feels. The Way It Is takes the track in a chillier direction with a slightly acidic bassline, a more stripped back body and bleepy tones. The sound harkens back to the early 90s sound of Sheffield and Leeds, while still keeping in the present. The result is a deep, cosmic, groovy ride. Mood.

The three-piece powerhouse that is Super FU, with members Sarah Lazenby, Paul Withy, and Rich Hall, returns to Paper with another long player of Balearic disco brilliance. The album tips its hat to a wide range of genres and influences, with hints of space disco, psychedelia, synth heavy electronica and the kind of pop that harks back to the glory days of Ibiza. There are hints of the best bits of the best record collections: Crazy P, LCD Soundsystem, Street Sounds Compilations, Prince and Sabres Of Paradise, whilst still totally unique, thanks to the slick sounds, superb production and arrangements. This is an album to soundtrack European car journeys, sunset alfresco gigs, late-night parties, and the after-hours. It is spellbinding, catchy as hell, and beautiful through and through.

Marco Pavanini debuts on Piston Recordings with the superb two tracker entitled Mirrors. Marco showcases his distinctive deep house sound with this latest release, adding a fresh and vibrant dimension to the labels catalogue. Since 2016, he has consistently delivered high-quality, groove-driven tracks that have earned him recognition across the electronic music scene. His productions have found a home on respected labels such as Uno Mas Digital Recordings, Over Noize Records and Toro Nero, where his talent for blending deep, atmospheric beats with captivating rhythms continues to shine. This release is yet another testament to Marcos growing influence and creative prowess within the deep house genre. Mirrors gets us underway with edgy kick drums paired with sharp claps and rhythmic percussions that keep the groove tight and driving. Sweeping, modulated synths create a fluid, evolving atmosphere, while melodic plucks add delicate layers of emotion. Diva vocal shots punctuate the track, adding soulful flair as an infectious, groovy bassline anchors the rhythm, creating a head-nodding groove. Distinct keys chime in, adding a touch of sophistication and melodic depth, rounding out the track with a perfect balance of edgy energy and smooth, deep house vibes. Jungle Juice closes out the release, introing with punchy kicks and layered with crispy hi-hats and shuffling percussions that create a dynamic groove. Warm melodic chords flow throughout, adding a lush atmosphere, while a thick analogue bassline rumbles underneath, providing a rich, organic depth. Funky guitar licks weave in and out, adding a live feel and complemented by cool, sharp vocal shots that cut through the mix. High strings subtly lift the groove, adding a layer of sophistication. A solid mover for the dancefloor, no doubt.

Next Atlanta Deep is his ode to a late night drive in the A. Then on the flip we have Mortise & Tenon a 10min journey thru Detroit Techno to Torontos underground. The second single from Fred Everythings album Love, Care, Kindness & Hope features UK singer/songwriter James Alexander Bright. The original connection came from a Groove Armada song that Fred remixed (Talk Talk) which featured James on vocals. James is known for his work on K7! and more recently with a new album On Athens Of The North. Breathe was built around a shuffly broken beat, a driving bass line and deep chords. The track also features Wayne Tennant on back vocals and Pete Whitfield on Strings. The original was championed by Colleen Cosmo Murphy on her Balearic Breakfast show as well as supported by Black Coffee, Jazzanova, Peter Kruder, Rainer Trueby. We start with 2 new unreleased versions based on the original. The Lazy Extended Vox, a longer more stripped down version of the original for the dance floor and the obligatory Lazy Dub. On remix duty, we brought in our good friend Rocco Rodamaal. He made the track shines with his trademark straight-to-the-point groove, taking the track in a new territory with none less than 5 mixes! On top of running his own Memories label out of Lyon, hes been busy with original music for Laurent Garniers QR label as well as new remixes for Louie Vega coming soon.

Apparel Music is stoked to drop the second EP by Ghosten, and trust, this Danish producer aint playin. This new record, droppin on November 1, 2024, is all the proof you need that Ghostens got that serious talent and creative juice. The EPs got three amazing tracks, and the lead single Believe! -out the 18th of October 2024- already set the vibe right. Now that were on this second chapter with Ghosten on AM, we can see the man aint about to sit back and coast. He is not here to just ride on past successes or walk the same old path. Ghostens out to keep pushing the envelope, throwing down challenges for his listeners with Believe! The sound hes bringing to the table hits you with those nostalgic vibes from the golden days of late 90s Norwegian House, and more broadly, that Scandinavian House flavour. Its packed with rich harmonic breaths, solid, assertive rhythms that pull you straight back to the dance floor, to the heart of the club scene. Life Is A Multiplayer Game kicks off the EP with a deep, groove-heavy vibe. Its like Ghostens takin you on a journey through a world where lifes a game, and the beats the only guide you need. The layers of rhythm and melody intertwine, creating a rich soundscape thats as complex as life itself - just like in a multiplayer game where you never know whats coming next. Love Might is all about that sensual, late-night energy. Ghosten dials it down just a notch, giving space for the groove to breathe and evolve. This track is soaked in emotional depth, with lush chords and a rolling bassline that feels like its pulling you into a warm embrace. Finally, the title track, Believe!, rounds off the EP with an anthemic energy thats undeniable. This ones got that classic House vibe, with driving rhythms and uplifting harmonies. Its a track that dares you to believe in the magic of the moment, in the collective experience of losing yourself in the music. Ghostens clearly channeling the spirit of a great personal inspiration, with a modern twist that keeps it fresh and vital.
South African producer La Deep returns to Nordic Trax with Forever Young – a four-track ep of deep, melodic house focused on the dancefloor. The young producer has once again emerged from the studio with more heat after some time at college and a few notable releases, including one for NYs legendary Nervous Records, Hotboxed from Cape Town and the Danford EP on NT (released 2022). Forever Young is another step-up in production for the young South African; with soaring synth stabs and a hook that blurs the lines between deep, minimal house and big room afro tech. Dig in! The journey continues on Rachetouille with more of the big room action. This one attacks and releases into a beautiful piano hook before breaking down into an uplifting build – all following along a driving beat. Met B Rubz continues the movement with a bit more of a dark and techy flavour. Finally, the release closes out with the melancholic Dear Zoe, a tune dedicated to the producers late girlfriend. An emotional ride to be sure and ready for the rewind. La Deep made his Nordic Trax debut when he was only a teenager with the critically-acclaimed Rabbit Teeth EP. It was released in the fall of 2017 to widespread support from djs and press alike, including Mixmag, Danny Tenaglia, Joris Voorn, &Me, Rob da Bank and Skream – who posted about the release: Ridiculously good ep! We couldnt agree more. Sfiso Sizwe Khumalo aka La Deep hails from Bethal, a small town in the province of Mpumalanga, South Africa. Starting his musical journey from the age of 9 and releasing his first tracks at 16, La Deep has grown to understand music from a different perspective: he is a dj, producer, songwriter and poet who takes inspiration from the environment around him. Citing among his musical influences Mount Kimbe, Dj Koze, Jimpster, Osunlade, Powel, Andhim, Kellerkind and The Revenge, La Deep burst on the scene in 2017 and has since released a handful of projects.
Miguel Palhares makes a strong return to Piston Recordings with his latest two-track release, My Turn. Over the years, Miguel has developed a signature style that skilfully fuses deep, funky, and jackin house, while paying homage to timeless grooves. His journey in electronic music began at 19, when he stepped behind the decks, quickly building a reputation for his vibrant and eclectic sets at Portugals most iconic clubs. Since 2013, he has been making waves with releases on top labels, and were proud to have him as a long-standing contributor to Piston Recordings. As always, were eager to hear more from him in the future. The Original Mix gets us moving and opens with crispy hi-hats, sharp claps and a thick, punchy kick drum, laying down a solid groove. Modulated synths weave in and out, while a deep and warm bassline provides a groovy pulse. During the break, vibrant piano chords add warmth, accompanied by soaring high strings and cool diva style vocals. Delicate melodic notes float through the mix and smooth saxophone riffs glide effortlessly, adding a sensual touch. Johannesburg-based DJ and producer BNinjas is back on Piston Recordings with a superb remix. BNinjas has continued to impress with his steady stream of top-tier productions across various imprints. His consistent ability to craft floor-filling beats has made him a standout talent, and were excited to welcome him back once again. Here, the remix opens with a bass-heavy kick that drives the groove alongside raspy claps. Intriguing, FX-laden vocals with a metallic edge add a haunting, futuristic feel, while mesmerizing chord pads envelop the track in a dreamy ambiance. A deep and groovy bassline pulses beneath, providing infectious movement while otherworldly melodies float through the mix, blending with creative note sequences that keep the energy dynamic and unpredictable.
MAW222 MAW LOST TAPES 18 Blue Moon During all the late-night Masters At Work studio sessions (in the 90s), many new creations came about, some were used, some were put on the side for future use, and some just sat on the 2-inch tapes for decades. This is one that MAW had in mind for a seasoned house singer but never came to fruition as a full song. These vibes were strictly groove-oriented but had melody already for words to be put on the notes played or at least some guidelines. This one is smooth and two simple chords develop the feeling with driving beats and big snares. Then, it breaks out into a four-chord melodic chorus-like section which gives you that lift. Feels like its inspired by one of my fav early 80s instrumental bands Hiroshima (if Hiroshima went house :), thats just a hunch. Who knows maybe we will get a song on it, but for now here you have the raw out-the-studio late-night instrumental vibes entitled Blue Moon. Fifth Time Out The keyapellas were a version that Masters At Work did in the early years where we would give you the track with no drums so you could work two records or versions while DJing. Fifth Time Out is a track we came up with ironically without drums, these days you can add your own drums a track like this. We thought why not let everyone hear a track we started without the beat who knows someone may just add a dope beat to it!! We will add one anyway Im sure while messing around in the studio. This track also calls for some melody and lyrics with a wonderful voice!!! Enjoy the sounds of Fifth Time Out, a track done in its entirety in the mid 90s !!!!! From the MAW LOST TAPES!!! Softpaw is the work of Mexican DJ & musician Jesus Fernandez. He makes his music from his home in Orizaba, a city on the route between Mexico City and the port of Veracruz. Pico De Orizaba, the stunning snow-capped volcano, dominates Orizabas skyline, and Lynx roam nearby in the national park. Yet, in contrast to all this beauty, the city is an industrial and agricultural hub. Fernandez says that this Castor/Pollux nature has left a deep mark on the emotions that flow through his music (its rare we have deep house artists referencing Greek mythology in their bios!). His debut, the melancholic, Kevin McKay-produced Gasoline, was a solid hit in the Deep House charts. This time, Kevin joins Softpaw and fellow Mexican artist Bante for another deep house journey. Bluesy guitars and a low, pumping bassline drive the groove while a hooky-as-hell off-kilter vocal tops the lot. Superb.
Akoko Ajeji means Strange Time in Yoruba. All the tracks on this album are in complex polymeter, meaning that they use multiple time signatures simultaneously. Each instrumental part is composed in a different meter, and consequently the instruments shift phase or slip relative to each other. For example, the bass could be in 4/4, the organ in 5/4, the hi-hat in 7/4, and so on. Loops of different lengths gradually diverge and converge, producing intricate but non-random patterns of interference that resemble improvisation. The albums themes are trance, music, and dancing, and its titles are in Yoruba because Yoruba has evocative words for these themes. Polymeter determines not only the rhythm, but the melody and harmony too, using techniques that are as radical as the pitch sets of atonal music were in the 1920s. Korda created a custom MIDI sequencer in order to make this album, and the result is a new approach to composition, and a new type of algorithmic music. Akoko Ajeji extends polymeter into new domains such as permutational harmony generation, and fuses algorithmic music with techno and jazz.

Infectious strings weave throughout, bringing a smooth, emotive quality that elevates the sound making this the perfect fodder to keep the floor moving. Youre In The Right Place closes out the release, opening with punchy 909 kicks, sharp claps, crispy hi-hats and rolling snares that set a tight rhythmic foundation. High string notes take centre stage as vibrant piano chord melodies gradually fade in, adding warmth and depth. Latvian duo Taran & Lomov present Semper Supra - their debut LP on their own label Amber Muse; a refined and accomplish long player that showcases the tip of an iceberg patiently built across two dedicated and long-spanning careers in the music industry. Together, the pair have managed to earn the coveted stripes of jack of many, master of many across a fruitful and symbiotic 20 years. Theyve turned their hands to promotion, production, remixing, radio hosting, music journalism and DJing. At this point, they have a gilded resume that includes support for their releases from the likes of Jane Fitz and Laurent Garnier, releases on W&O Street Tracks, Josh Winks Ovum Recordings and Dense & Pikas Kneaded Pains as Queer On Acid and of course – their basecamp – the Amber Muse Radio show. Musically, Semper Supra is a genre-flexing trip with its roots in early 2000s Minimal and late 90s Electronica. 9 tracks bearing flecks of influence from labels like Time Passages, Perlon and Warp as well as artists such as Black Dog, Metamatics, Binh and Jan Jelenik meld in a head-twisting brew - one that caters to listeners on any point in the spectrum between after-hours raver to armchair astronaut. The glue in the record is the subtly haunting energy omitted by the synths, sweeps and atmospherics that course through the album. The spectral glow these conjure hangs gently over a variety of bpms and intensities, keepings things suffused in a dubby fog that gives a living, breathing sense of space and atmosphere. Case and point being Nano Crab - a patient, frosty recording that stacks energy in subtly folding layers of mangled, otherworldly signals and primal rhythms. Slow East follows up with a skeletal Electro track that oozes with an ominous mood often clocked in Nicolas Lutzs extended sets. The warped robotics and cold sonics of Slickers are given life and mobility via groove and clever sequencing while Corp whips up into a more frenzied zone. Alarm tones burnt and bit crushed while drums move with the sort of urgency required for boiling point dance floors before the title track provides an allaying landing pad as it scatters pin-prick melodies across a wide, icy soundscape.

Rob Redford has over the last year been gaining a well-deserved hype with his deep and old school jackin' interpretation of Chicago and Detroit house music. On his debut for Local Talk Rob takes an ultra-deep surge into the dark electronic soul of drum machines and MPCs. The EP ranges from the quirky bassline-driven house track 'Imagine' to a Detroit-ish deep house jam entitled 'MPC Soul' and ends with the jazzy and broken-ish 'Shades Of Blue'. Proper deepness for the house heads!

Proper deepness for the house heads!

To wrap things up, we have none other than Laurence Guy giving his twist on the previous number, and as a remix it gives over so much. The beat carries through to the breakdown, which turns things way down before revealing a hyper-melodic come up, with a sax line and additional chiming keys creating a real audial feast. As a record ender, it sums up the vibe perfectly, a real drifter to leave that sweet taste lingering just that little bit longer.
The celebrated partnership of Julian Sanza and Andre Espeut returns once again to Large Music with a new single entitled Single Tear. This collaboration beautifully fuses deep house and breezy disco elements, showcasing the duos distinctive sound and undeniable chemistry. Pay attention to the joyous, bouncy Dub Mix as well - the lead synth line is perfection. Enjoy! Curated by Jeff Craven for Large Music LLC 31 years of House Music History. Following its mission to highlight fresh Brazilian talent, Cocada Music is dropping a brand-new and exciting release to amp up their catalog. Mau Maioli and the duo Fugaz are teaming up to bring some tropical vibes to House Music with the EP Pulsação Tropical, marking the labels 33rd release. The collab blends Mau Maiolis energetic grooves with Fugazs danceable freshness, featuring two original tracks: Pulsação Tropical and Joyland. The EP also includes a remix of Pulsação Tropical by Gabi Fisher, making her debut on the label. Pulsação Tropical has all the classic elements youd expect from a great House track. The melody drives with a catchy organ and vibrant synth sequence, creating a cool contrast with the stab chords that pop throughout the arrangement. With a slightly acid touch, the track also features vocal chops that add a fun vibe, making it a perfect fit for any dance floor moment. Gabi Fishers remix offers a fresh take on Pulsação Tropical, keeping the House Music feel but adding a more trippy spin with sequenced synths that bring warmth and depth to the new version. Joyland wraps up the EP with an even more intense dance floor appeal, featuring beats and arrangement elements that give a nod to old-school House. Vocal stabs boost the tracks energy, while piano lines groove along with a frantic bassline, making it a great fit for peak time on the dance floor.

Capetonian DJ and producer Matt Prehn returns to Piston alongside label debutant T.I.B with the superb Gemini 2.0. Matts musical journey began in the mid-90s, in the era of vinyl and pre-social media. Influenced by the vibrant sounds of South Africas underground clubs and after-hours parties, he soon began producing his own tracks. He later founded the labels Oh So Coy and Rogue Decibels, which have collectively released over 200 digital and 10 vinyl records. T.I.B aka Brandon Cupido, debuts here, bringing a wealth of experience to the label with numerous releases on various labels including Deep Society Music, Rogue Decibels and Kalushi Recordings to name just a few. He draws inspiration from influential artists such as Scott Diaz and Daniel Leseman which is evidenced in his own quality productions. Great to have him here. The Original Mix gets us underway, introing with thick, punchy beats and slicing hi-hats that cut through the mix with precision, while sharp claps punctuate the rhythm. Mesmerizing melodic chords float above, delivering smooth soulful harmonies that wash over the track with a warm, hypnotic feel. Deep groovy basslines provide a rich flowing foundation, locking in the rhythm and enhancing the tracks deep, rolling energy. Heavily FXd eclectic guitar strums weave in and out, adding a layer of organic texture, while an intriguing spoken word narrative plays in the background, adding an atmospheric and thoughtful dimension. Luv Boutique aka Brandon Bass makes his debut on Piston with a stellar remix. Influenced by New York house, disco, rock and new wave, he honed his craft in Denver, USA, gaining recognition and later producing his own tracks on labels like Hub City Music and Aspect Audio. His work has been championed by Groove Armada, Phil Weeks, Laurent Garnier and more. In his Afterhours Dub, he maintains the original vibe but adds a more upbeat groove. Spoken vocals, crisp hats and claps combine with rhythmic drums that lead into chunky kicks and a warm, subby bassline that becomes highly infectious,
For many in underground music, the words Back To Basics mean only one thing - the chaotic and anarchic Leeds house party founded by Dave Beer. The GLBDOM label is slowly broadening out that definition though with this ongoing series under the same name. Its been good to date and this third volume doesnt disappoint with Manuold, Bress Underground, MacLO duo, Jon Billick and Scruscru all offering up their own takes on deep house. From the mid-tempo and cosmic to the more raw and punchy, via the loopy and the future-facing, its a classy collection.
It's really a time for big comebacks on Apparel Music's frequencies, or better yet, big confirmations. You don't change a winning team, so Brunch.wav is back in the lineup, coming through with his dancefloor rhythms, bass that makes your body vibrate, and his natural sense of groove. The digital EP, dropping on August 9th, is called Disappoint Me. Is it a call to the ungratefulness of the audience and listeners? A deliberate denial to grab attention or just a nod to some personal experience of the artist? We don't know, but the four tracks on his fourth release with AM are anything but disappointing. "Disappoint Me" is a dynamic EP featuring four standout tracks: "Disappoint Me," "Real Recognize Real," "420," and "Day 1.3 [All Alone]." This collection delivers vibrant, fresh house music tailored for the dancefloor. Each track pulses with energy, combining infectious rhythms and deep basslines that make it impossible to stay still. The title track sets the tone with its engaging beats, "Real Recognize Real" keeps the groove authentic, "420" adds a laid-back yet compelling vibe, and "Day 1.3 [All Alone]" closes with an introspective yet danceable touch. Perfect for any house music enthusiast looking for their next dancefloor anthem. Once again, the avalanche of sound comes from Canada, and once again, anyone who wants to can get swept up in it. The record's lead by the single, Real Recognize Real, dropping on July 26, 2024.

Polands deep house specialist WEIKUM is back on OHRAL with another spectacular track. When it comes to low-slung, chunky house grooves, theres not many better at it than WEIKUM. His brand new release GET UP is prooving exactely this. GET UP is WEIKUMS third release on OHRAL already - his first two releases went down really well and are - even today - highlights in their catalogue. So kind of logical to continue writing this so far absolutely successful cooperation. The track also got a very special treatment by none other than Frankfurts Deep House Hero SASCHA DIVE. Being long time in the business, delivering only high profiled deep house sounds since 2007 he was on our wishlist for quiet a while already. So we are happy that finally also SASCHA contributed his soul to the ongoing journey of OHRAL by adding his very special & unique deep and dub house interpretation of GET UP by WEIKUM. Press Play & Enjoy!
Darren Roach's debut album lands on Limo! With its sights set squarely on the dancefloor, 'Low Ranger' may seem to have come out of nowhere, but to those who have been paying attention, his music has never stopped making an impact. Roach boasts a catalog of releases that begins in the '90s, and a few of these long lost pearls resurface here, freshly mastered and ready to go. The bulk of the album, however, consists of freshly crafted nuggets that will surely stand the test of time just the same. The album is a testament that truly good music doesn't degrade over time, and the decades of quality behind 'Low Ranger' reveal a master of his craft.

Edward delivers his latest collection of works, the 'Eddie Green' EP via Smallville Records this July, comprised of four originals. For the past decade and a half, Frankfurt-original Gilles Aiken, better known to most as simply, Edward, has been unveiling his productions regularly via the likes of his most regular home Giegling, but also Baby Ford & Eon's Trelik, White, Die Orakel or DFA, plus teaming up with Ricardo Villalobos in 2020 for their Disordered Rhythm Metronomy project on Perlon. Here though, we see Edward mark his debut for Smallville Records, a fitting home for his deep, dynamic and hypnotic style which regularly blurs the lines of House, Techno and beyond. Up first is 'Primal Dream', a raw and reduced journey through modulating synth flutters, squeaky percussive twitches and a bumpy, robust rhythm section. 'Blue Glue' follows and diverges into a more mystical sonic world with haunting chants, resonant synth licks, meditative chimes and ethereal textures intertwined with crisp, crunchy drums. Title-track 'Eddie Green' opens the B-side, embracing a more dubbed out, deep techno aesthetic via murky chord swells, clattering organic percussion, throbbing low end pulsations and vocoded spoken word vocal lines. The aptly title 'So Slow' then rounds out the release, dropping the tempo and shifting focus Edward's more jazz-tinged influences with wandering piano melodies and soulful vocal chants uttering the track's title, underpinned by shuffled drums and waves of sporadic oscillating synth.

Japanese production sorceress Yuu Udagawa is back on Compost with some super-well crafted, elegant, yet jazzy deep house, including remixes by the maestros Fred Everything and JKriv. The original Ride It is an ode to playful lightness. A funky bassline is accompanied by deep pads and embellished with jazzy piano synths and Yuus whispers. Join the ride! Set Me Sneakers is an equally deep and infectious track. The syncopated rhythm with jazzy elements works for warm-up as well as in the middle of the night. JKriv transforms the original into a driving groover that convinces with sophisticated percussions and a clever arrangement, at the same time giving Ride It a somewhat mysterious, hypnotizing vibe. Anyone familiar with JKrivs productions and edits knows that the man has a knack for great grooves. We are delighted that Fred Everything has once again created a fantastic signature deep house remix for Yuu. The track contains the great, warm energy that we have appreciated in Freds productions for decades.

Magic Words, a new project from NY-based producers Eli Cohen and Peter Hargarten, make their debut on RNT with the Wabi Soba EP, a perfect summertime record. If the title track sounds a bit familiar it's because it's been in Harvey's hands for a while and has made many appearances in his sets around the world. Based around an emotive and dreamy loop, the song basically embodies Balearica, dripping with Spanish guitar and wistful, melancholic harmonies. Toronto's Jex Opolis turns in a massive remix that preserves all the delicate texture of the original and lays it lovingly over a pulsing clubby drum foundation. Already getting a huge response in the RNT crew's club sets, this is a special record that's got some serious summer anthem buzz!

Its the new millennia. We find ourselves outside the Packard Plant in Detroit. Inside dancers coalesce on the work floor of another decaying American metropolis. Part two of Terrestrial Funks six part series with Dan Piu brings us to the year 2000. Four more tracks from the three decade compendium with nods to contemporaries like the late great James Stinson. Astral ancestors on celestial highways.
