Bassline Soldiers EP - Fresh Phatty Records Fresh Phatty Records presents 'Bassline Soldiers', a new EP from label owner Chelina Manuhutu, exploring a more distinctive blend of tech house and UK garage influences. Across three tracks, the EP moves between two bass driven tech house cuts and a more UK garage oriented production, all tied together by a strong focus on groove, swing, and detailed drum work. Crisp snares and tight rhythmic structures bring a clear UK influence, while the basslines remain central and defining throughout. Rather than following a single formula, 'Bassline Soldiers' leans into contrast and variation, combining different shades of the sound while maintaining a cohesive identity. Mood Child returns with Various Moods Vol. 5, a razor-sharp six-track album curated by Manda Moor and Sirus Hood, landing on May 8th, 2026 across vinyl and digital. Bringing together some of the biggest weapons in Manda and Sirus' sets, the release delivers a standout selection of special records and high-impact dancefloor cuts from a finely tuned cast of artists. Built with the club in mind, Various Moods Vol. 5 moves through deep, rolling grooves, stripped-back minimal flavours and tougher tech-driven moments, with each track carrying its own identity while hitting with real force.
