Chant of Freedom is a new EP on Stomp Records, featuring two tracks born from the same creative spark and exploring a different side of Darwishs sound. Psyfunk Morphosis is the debut release from Trancemutations Records, founded by Esteban Desigual. The labels mission is to highlight the most innovative and hybrid expressions of psychedelic trance, reviving the original spirit of freedom and experimentation that defined the freestyle Goa mixes of the late 80s. Psyfunk Morphosis explores the fusion between psychedelic and funk sonic identities : swaying basslines, electric pianos, chopped-up vocals, and melodies with jazzy accents. This movement draws part of its roots from Suomisaundi, a Finnish subgenre known for its free-spirited, warm, and slightly chaotic character, like a funk band launched into orbit on acid. It also developed strongly in Brazil with Alien Records and in France, promoted by ADN Records. This compilation connects the cardinal points of Psyfunk, hosting legends like Kyril and Escobar from Finland, Loopus in Fabula from Italy and Kadum from Brazil.
