This is the sound of Innershades. A tribute to Belgian club culture in the late 80s and early 90s the era of new beat and what later became known as The Sound of Belgium. Inspired by releases and key reference points from that scene: R&S Records, Music Man Records, USA Import and Antler Subway. Music without borders embraced by underground DJs, from Belgian clubs to Rotterdam basements. Dark. Slow. Timeless.
Originally conceived as part of the score for Y-3s Fall/Winter 2025 runway presentation at Paris Fashion Week, Genesis channels the euphoric, trance-like energy reminiscent of earlier works from the Solitary Dancer catalogue. Throughout their collaboration with adidas & Yohji Yamamotos venerable label, the duo continue to balance the conceptual rigour of an artist commission with the blissful dancefloor functionality for which they are known.
Surreal Protocol is an electro-breakbeat track built around tension, momentum and controlled instability. Driven by syncopated drums, analog bass and fragmented machine rhythms, the track explores the moment where systems feel familiar but begin to behave unpredictably. Its designed as both a club-ready piece and a performance-focused composition, created through live sequencing and resampling. This track is the first transmission from my upcoming EP Venturing Into the Unknown, released on 4 March.
A deep voyage into the vast and intense productions of Dawn Razor & Confluence. Authentic in every way yet paying homage to the classic sounds of techno and electro we all love. The two producers clearly have a profound understanding of the genre—their maturity and experience shine throughout the EP as they lead listeners into uncharted sonic territory. Resist is mesmerizing, captivating attention with edgy grooves, an undercurrent of psychedelia, and undeniable sex appeal. These murky, tricked-out productions are designed to transport dancers while making them lose themselves in the process. A true one-of-a-kind release, Resist highlights the dynamic tension between Dawn Razor & Confluence as they hone their signature bass-heavy sound, fusing multiple styles into something entirely their own. Pure class, pure heat. Remix duties feature two heavyweights. First, the iconic Jerome Hill delivers a classic rave-ready breakbeat weapon, re-envisioning Xanax with stunning vocal sample work. Finally, Doctor Jeep closes with a hypnotic, bass-driven head-banger—sexy, chugging, and deep into the night.

Amsterdam-based DJ, producer and curator Jerrau steps into a new chapter with his debut EP on Whos Susan, a record that distills the past one a half years of creative discovery into a lucid, hybrid sound. Known for percussive, bass-driven sets at Horst, Dekmantel, Lowlands and Garage Noord, he now channels his contagious energy into productions that blend floaty synths, glitchy textures and rough-heavy basslines. Inspired by videogame soundtracks, ambient music and his years behind the decks, these four tracks reveal a new side of the Dutch-Surinamese artist, one that is melodic, experimental and unapologetic. Featuring hardware-driven grooves, emotional synth work and a collaboration with Susan native, DJ OSX, the EP captures Jerraus evolving sound as he steps confidently into his production era.
