After shaping the sound and curation of the imprint he runs alongside Mython, Jonas Xenon steps forward with his long-awaited vinyl debut on the label. Having played a key role in defining its direction from the beginning, it feels like a natural moment for Xenon to press his own signature into the groove. Before focusing fully on techno, Xenon spent years producing drum & bass, and traces of that background still surface in his work. His signature percs soaked in cavernous hall reverbs create the unmistakable space his tracks move within, accompanied by silky acid and saw-wave infused synth lines riding over driving, uncompromising stompers built for intense moments of movement on the dancefloor. Adding another angle to the release is a contribution from Bailey Ibbs, whose touch reframes Xenon's sound and introduces a different anchor point within the record. The result is a focused four-tracker with no filler, a tight pack of tracks built with precision, energy and character.
