With "Slow Town Moves" Luca Musto unveils the first chapter of his upcoming EP - a deeply textured piece that distills his signature blend of slow-burning house, soul and introspective groove. Known for weaving elements of jazz, blues and hip-hop into electronic landscapes, Musto has carved out a distinct space with his warm, detail-driven productions. Music that invites for both movement and reflection. Built on restrained rhythms and fluid percussion, "Slow Town Moves" unfolds with quiet confidence, capturing the subtle tension between stillness and motion. The track emerged during a period of stepping away from the fast-paced pulse of the city, finding inspiration instead in a more grounded, familiar environment; where time stretches, and small moments begin to resonate again. There's a sense of intimacy running through the production: soft textures drift in and out, melodies linger rather than resolve, and every hi-hat feels carefully placed, as if living in the spaces between. It's a reflection of Musto's philosophy that what gives music soul lies in the details, not in excess. "Slow Town Moves" feels like a late-night walk through streets that haven't changed - only your perspective has. Understated yet deeply emotive, it sets the tone for a project that explores memory, rhythm, and atmosphere with a rare sense of authenticity.
Downtempo 1 is the debut release from Tony Soprano Band, a Melbourne-based instrumental project led by Daniel Rock (Evening News), in collaboration with Patrick Ryan (Cantrips / Dune Castle). Recorded in a single day at Dune Castle's in-house studio, The Throne Room, the album is built entirely from live improvisation. Featuring Daniel Rock (bass), Lucky Pereira (drums), Robert Downey (sampler / drum machine) and Winton Findlay (synthesizers), each track began as an extended, unbroken performance - captured in real time, without overdubs. From these sessions, fragments were selected, reshaped and mixed into their final forms, preserving the looseness of the original recordings while revealing a quiet internal structure. Grooves drift in and out of focus, rhythms settle into place and then dissolve, and melodies surface only to disappear again. Sitting at the intersection of downtempo electronica, breaks and live band interplay, Downtempo 1 balances the tactile feel of a rhythm section with the textures and pacing of loop-based music. It's less concerned with arrival than it is with atmosphere - a record that unfolds gradually, favouring feel over resolution. Tony Soprano Band operates as a rotating cast of musicians within the Dune Castle studio environment, with Downtempo 1 marking the first instalment in an ongoing series. Released on limited 12" vinyl.

Marsmobil convinces again with two wonderfully catchy pop songs featuring vocals by renowned singer Ada Morghe. With the two tracks "Papillon" and "SH 2000", MARSMOBIL presents a wide spectrum ranging from film noir to iconic soundscapes. Marsmobil's sound stylistically ranges from French sixties flair to contemporary synth-pop. Analog warmth meets floating synth pads, while organic arrangements blend with electronic expansiveness. The music feels equally retro-inspired and futuristic—playful, atmospheric, and unique. With singer Ada Morghe, the project has found its ideal voice. Her versatile timbre—sometimes raw and delicate, sometimes powerful and commanding—gives the songs emotional depth and a distinctive identity. The special chemistry between MARSMOBIL and Ada Morghe creates a sound that feels both intimate and grand. Marsmobil stands for stylistic openness, a love of sonic detail, and a clear artistic vision—international in scope, timeless in production, and highly recognizable. They are supported in this endeavor by Shuko, one of Germany's most successful producers, known for his cross-genre vision and internationally acclaimed sound.
