The Gardens of Babylon Records presents Down In Swing, a refined collaboration between Le'Gram and Daniel Hokum, uniting two distinct artistic visions into a timeless A-side / B-side release. Le'Gram's philosophy of creating beauty through the fusion of sound, culture, and emotion meets Daniel Hokum's signature blend of bluesy downtempo electronics and acid-tinged textures. Together, they craft a release that feels both expressive and deeply rooted in musical storytelling. The title track, Down In Swing, is a mesmerising mid-tempo slow burner, weaving jazz, swing, and soul influences into a rich electronic framework, balancing heritage with playful dancefloor energy. On the flip side, Desire Keeper dives deeper into a hypnotic groove, unfolding as a late-night journey driven by subtle progression, depth, and atmosphere, while still showcasing the duo's musicality and refined touch. With Down In Swing, Le'Gram and Daniel Hokum deliver a sophisticated release that explores beauty, groove, and emotional depth in equal measure.
