The Nick Curly and Gorge helmed 8Bit Records offers up a new EP courtesy of Peruvian artist Chinonegro, entitled 'Groove Theory' and comprising four original compositions. In recent years, Peruvian DJ and producer Chinonegro has been making waves across the global electronic music scene with his distinctive fusion of deep grooves, hypnotic rhythms, and Latin-leaning sonic textures. Renowned for blending rich cultural influences with raw, classic House sound design, he has rapidly carved out a unique voice in contemporary club music. Now he returns to 8Bit, the long-running and widely respected Mannheim imprint celebrated for its signature groove-led sound, shaped by its founders and a global roster of artists. 'Groove Theory' opens the release, pairing organic percussion with choppy stabs, a buoyant bassline, and finely processed vocal cuts. 'Jungle Soul' follows, dialling into a swinging rhythm section anchored by a rolling low end, rising string tension, bright chord accents, and hip house-inspired vocal hooks. The second half of the release sees Chinonegro link up with Ande Butano. 'Chardonnay' delivers an airy, low-slung house groove first, built around drifting dub chords, spoken-word vocals, and crisp drum work. Closing the package, 'Chiclayork' unfolds as a loop-driven jam, propelled by tightly layered synth chops, rolling organic percussion, and deftly filtered samples woven throughout. distributed by HS Consulting & Distribution GmbH // Housesession GmbH

With "Sunrise Dream Vol. II", Polifonic Records continues its exploration of music conceived for transitional states: those moments where time loosens its grip and sound becomes the primary mode of perception. This is not a compilation built around genre or function, but a curated statement rooted in atmosphere, physicality, and shared experience. The release brings together a selection of artists aligned with the Polifonic ethos, each contributing a track that reflects a precise moment on the dancefloor: when night gives way to morning, bodies slow down, and awareness sharpens. Here, music operates as an environment rather than a sequence - immersive, continuous, and deeply physical. Across the record, house, electronica, acid and breaks intersect without hierarchy. Rhythms remain grounded yet fluid, textures are stripped back but intentional, and melodic elements appear only when necessary. The result is a cohesive sonic landscape that privileges tension, space, and emotional clarity over excess. Sunrise Dream Vol. II is shaped by collective presence. It draws from the energy generated by dancers moving together in prolonged states of listening, where repetition becomes hypnosis and subtle variations carry meaning. These tracks are designed to be felt as much as heard - music that resonates through the body before reaching the mind. This second volume reinforces Polifonic Records' commitment to releases that function beyond the club: records that document a moment, a feeling, and a way of inhabiting sound. Sunrise Dream is not an endpoint, but part of an ongoing dialogue between music, place, and the people who gather around it.

For the sixth release on the Heels of Love catalog, Jame C delivers Italo Treno, a two-track EP that highlights the versatility and creative consistency of the Minas Gerais based producer. Rooted in Deep House and Deep Tech references, the record explores well-defined grooves that shift between contemplative and dancefloor-oriented moods, marking Jame C's debut on the label with a direct and refined statement. Born in Belo Horizonte, Jame C is one of the standout names from a new generation of producers. Despite his young age, his creative potential and musical vision have already caught the attention of key figures on the global scene, including artists such as Mochakk, Jamie Jones, and Chloe Caillet. This recognition has helped establish him as a producer in constant evolution within the Brazilian electronic music landscape. Drawing influences from hip hop, fusion jazz, and disco, Jame C has developed an identity that balances classic house and deep house synths and timbres. The title track 'Italo Treno' is an invitation to immersion, offering a smooth encounter with deep house grooves. The sub-bass locks seamlessly with the track's subtly percussive rhythm, while the classic lead synth tone expands the melody in a balanced way, adding movement and dynamism as it interacts with the other elements of the arrangement. 'Num Da' completes the release with an added extra layer of dancefloor energy. Here, Jame C pushes the groove further through a more pronounced bassline, opening space for a compelling interplay of elements, from classic house-flavored pads that evolve throughout the track to a synth line that stands out through distortion and variation. A strong cut designed to set the dancefloor in motion.
"Saudade da Bahia" arrives in the Apparel Music catalogues on March 6, 2026 and it brings a very particular kind of warmth with it. This three-track digital release comes from two key figures in Brazil's contemporary electronic scene: Bernardo Campos and Fabio Santanna, the duo known as Nu Azeite. This project is the meeting point between Fabio, a musician, DJ, singer and producer with deep roots in Rio's musical traditions, and Bernardo, a DJ long-time friend of the label and one of the essential agitators of the city's underground house and disco movement. Together they channel what they like to call "the Brazil we want," a blend of rhythm, soul, and cultural memory that feels unmistakably alive. "Saudade da Bahia" carries that spirit through three house-driven tracks shaped by their very own sonic spirit, hypnotic vocal textures and rhythm, and the unmistakable swing that defines Brazilian dance music. The EP opens with "Furta Cor," a vibrant and fluid house jam built on rolling drums and bright melodic cues. The title track, "Saudade da Bahia," forms the emotional centre of the release, weaving nostalgia into dancefloor energy. Closing the trip is "Vai Clarear," the advance single, a piece where groove, roots and joy rise together and everything feels lit from within. The three of them together become a vivid postcard from Bahia, full of colour, movement and feeling.
