Following a banner year for both Sir Hiss and Sam Binga - and indeed for Pineapple as a whole - in 2025, we felt it was time to revisit their joint release from 2023, the Jus Mek Duppy EP - aptly retitled 'Jus Mek RMX' Bristolian maestro, AÆE leans into his Brazilian heritage on his Funk-powered rework of 'Any Weather'. Classic Volt / Carioca elements meld perfectly with SBA Karma's iconic UK Drill flow, resulting in a festival banger that has been turning heads from Outlook to EDC. Anthemic! Coido makes a return to the label, after his collaboration with HRTY on last year's Fruit Salad EP, turning the 140 electro of 'ADRL' into a snarling 150bpm monster. As always with Coido, the production weight is heavy, and the vibe is meaty - at times, almost hinting at a universe where Noisia grew up in New Jersey. Hiss & Binga rework 'Wicked Set' into a rolling, deeper percussive VIP, explicitly referencing that early 2000s 'proto-dubstep' vibe of the early FWD days. MC Jakes vocal stabs are further dubbed out from the original and are joined by hypnotic chants, distorted ethereal melodic snippets, and depth-charge bass pressure. Turn the lights down and lock in. Finally, Pineapple's resident Booty Queen, one Amy Kisnorbo, twists wicked set into a tuff, minimal but fully propulsive 150bpm workout, equal parts Chicago Juke and Detroit Electro, yet still with an unmistakeable UK Grime influence. Zaps, FX and militant kicks are the key ingredients here - and provide an essential expansion of the Kisnorbian sound world. Distributed by Label Engine - www.label-engine.com
With Heart Opener, Andreas Henneberg teams up with Eleonora for an emotional yet punchy release on SNOE. Driven by a pulsing low end, fractured breakbeat patterns, shimmering synth layers and a not so subtle sense of tension, Heart Opener slowly unfolds into something raw and liberating. Eleonoras vocal sits close and unfiltered at the center of the track, self-assured it acts as an emotional counterweight to the driving rhythm underneath. It is just about you and lies you tell yourself. Once you stop, you are unstoppable. — Eleonora Rather than aiming for instant impact, this track thrives in the in-between moments: late-night dancefloors, open-ended DJ sets, or simply the act of listening where detail and emotion matter just as much as movement. Out on SNOE, Heart Opener marks another strong chapter in Andreas Hennebergs ongoing exploration of collaborations and genre-blurring electronic music.
Karafella is an emerging electronic music producer and artist whose genre-spanning work has seen her blend elements from deep house, afro house and downtempo electronica in past releases. She makes her debut on Manual Music's Manual Deep imprint with the single 'Wika,' a standout track that marks a fresh chapter in her musical journey. 'Wika' is rooted in broken beat rhythms and infused with Middle Eastern-inspired motifs, giving it a distinctive, hypnotic edge that lingers long after the first listen. The track's melancholic and introspective atmosphere draws listeners into its layered textures, balancing rhythmic complexity with emotional depth, a sound that clearly underscores Karafella's creative voice as she enters the Manual Deep family.
Sample-heavy would be an understatement for this concept project — built on colors, 808s, and hard breaks. After gaining momentum last year with standout EPs on Ear Sight Records, groove-driven releases on Berlin House Music, and collaborations across electronic and hip hop, kalla returns to the solo spotlight with a concept project merging all his influences into one unique aesthetic. Three EPs, built around his own Kallaways, form a colorful palette of samples, 808s, and hard breaks. Each release showcases kalla's multifaceted approach to sampling, bridging breakbeat, bass music, and hip hop in new ways. The result is a sound that's sub-heavy, organic, dynamic, and unmistakably his own. Tracks tell stories — some hit hard, some melancholic, some make you bounce — all with those three ingredients and a touch of magic sparkle. The Kallaways series proves you don't need much to make people move.
