Purple Disco Machine released Purple Pianos on Kittball in 2015, long before the pop charts found him. Robert Owens lent his unmistakable voice to Slipknot. Timo Maas, andhim, Ida Engberg, Format:B, Junior Jack and Volkoder all became part of the story through singles and compilations such as Kittball Konspiracy and the charity series It Began In Africa. Some of those records still work at 3 a.m. Others belong unmistakably to the year they were released. That is fine too.
