Originally formed as a duo, the Mat.Joe story dates back to 2008, during which time they released on respected labels such as Defected, Club Sweat, Mother Recordings and Saved Records. From 2024 onward, Matthias continues his career solo, carrying forward the legacy Mat.Joe has built over the past decade. The other half of this collaboration is Florian Kruse, an artist with a career spanning well over a decade. Trained as a sound engineer and later active in various formations, Florian launched his solo career in 2016 and has since achieved numerous milestones. Over the years, he has delivered many high-quality releases and worked with artists such as Joris Voorn, David Morales and Robosonic.
