Sinful Biz debuts on VII with slick, cool track - London. Driving beats and beautiful melodies sweep you up into a blissful crescendo, this is strong stuff from new signing Sinful Biz. Be sure to watch this space for more from him and be sure to check out his opening sets at our X parties next year where he will set the tone perfectly for each event. Welcome to the fold Sinful Biz.
Will Atkinsons long awaked return to VII is finally here and it was certainly worth the wait! Bamboozled is a brilliantly fused combination of 90s hard house and similar era PVD drive. Bouncy, tight off beat bass line and driving drums and rhythmic elements push the track forwards, making it feel 5 bpm faster than it actually is. Hooky, infectious vocal samples enhance the hypnotic allure and continue the build to a mind melting climax as Will drops into a proper old school Nukleuz records style riff that just wrecks the place - every time. A hugely requested ID in both Wills and Hannah Laings sets all summer, this is a masterpiece from the king of high energy party music.
Brendan Bartels makes his debut on VII with a punk infused masterclass of a record that brings edgy, gritty, distorted vocals and a raw driving groove to the forefront, ripping its way through the air. Another superb example of true tech being executed immaculately. Were huge lovers of this track and hope to fine more like it to sign! Become Brendan!
Will Rees brings his forward facing, powerful production into the fray with this blisteringly good remix of John Askews Recalibrate. Sitting somewhere between hard tech trance and balls out warehouse rave techno this is fucking marvellous and we want more of it. Youll be seeing Wills name more and more in the context of VII - but on the label and at our shows.
