Continuing a connection with the Sound Avenue family that stretches back more than a decade, 3rd Avenue welcomes legendary Argentine producer Mario Puccio back to the label with Open Sky, accompanied by remixes from Ignacio Hernández, DJ Oil and Matías Delóngaro. A respected figure in Argentina's progressive house scene, Puccio first appeared within the label family in 2013 through his Hologram's Life EP on Sound Avenue. In the years since, he has continued to build an extensive catalogue across labels including The Soundgarden, Perfecto Black, Fluglab, SexOnWax, Lowbit and Steyoyoke, maintaining a distinctive musical identity while continuing to evolve with the genre. His return to 3rd Avenue follows Harmony, which featured the companion track "Angels", and now sees "Open Sky" take centre stage through four interpretations. Joining the original is fellow Argentine Ignacio Hernández, a Rosario-born producer whose progressive sound has found homes on Mango Alley, Or Two Strangers, 3rd Avenue and Massive Harmony, earning support from artists including Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Eelke Kleijn and Joris Voorn. Marseille-born, Paris-based DJ Oil brings a different perspective to the package, drawing on a diverse career that includes releases for Multi Culti, Meant Records and R&S Records. Completing the release is Argentine producer Matías Delóngaro, who returns to the label following his recent remix for Christopher K. Active since 2017, Delóngaro has developed an atmospheric blend of progressive, organic and deep house through releases on The Purr and Manual, with Peach Rose and Astral Plains among the projects shaping his catalogue. Together, the three remixers expand "Open Sky" in distinct directions while keeping Puccio's musical character at the centre, making the release another fitting chapter in an association with the Sound Avenue family that began over thirteen years ago.
