Suba (Kyrgyzstan) with Enchantment invites us into a slower, deeper state of movement: a Hypnotic Reverie. Drawing on hypnotic tribal rhythms, the track builds on the waves of percussive trance, a spell woven from sharp beats and drone textures unfolding. The first glimpse into our 13th Altered States compilation is a captivating call to the dance floor. Millhouse (US) maps the thermodynamics of the dance floor with Heat Exchange to induce the state of Kinetic resonance. This cosmic Italo disco exploration translates the push and pull of energy into a tapestry of bassline and melody, resulting in a sound that feels both universally familiar and thrillingly new. Sarvs (Palestine) Shartan evokes a state of Cathartic Resistance. A story forged by Sarv in a shelter under missile fire, the track is a powerful synthesis of Eastern Mediterranean soul: a driving bassline, the strum of a Turkish baglama, and choked Greek vocals that plead, Help me, feed me, I cannot move, freely, dive deep inside the hive. SPEYSs (Poland) Breeze evokes a state of Liminal Serenity. Inspired by a fresh spring gust, the track explores an appealing, undefined space between sonic landscapes. Jabba 2.3 (France) What do I want evokes a state of Sensory Alchemy. It begins with a vocal sample he long coveted, transformed through a slower, psychedelic lens. The introduction of undulating acid loops acts as the catalyst, turning the familiar into a trance of new sonic experience. Misatas (Russia) Crystal Error Memory evokes a state of Lucid Recall.
