    On My Mind

    JYDN

    Beatport Hype

Some records can't be released until the noise stops. 'On My Mind' is one of them. It arrives after a decade of living between Ibiza, Portugal, and Brazil, with constant touring through Asia, Australia, and everywhere between. Ten years of movement. Ten years of airports, apartments, studios borrowed, studios built, and dancefloors that became something close to a second language. The question under every move, every city, every night that blurred into the next. Calling a lot of places home without ever fully unpacking. Learning what changes when you stop. A decade on the road does something to the way you write. You stop chasing the obvious hook. You start noticing the quiet bits. The comedown moments. The bittersweet ones. The space between arriving and leaving, between feeling at home and feeling like a stranger in the same breath. 'On My Mind' lives in that space. It's a track about identity shifting, ground moving, and the long, quiet process of getting a little lost, finding your way back, and finally learning to put it down. The lyrics read like fragments from that process. "Night sky, dark hearts, new wave, fresh start." "Feel tired, let go, will you stay though." Woven into a dark, moody progressive techno cut built for the deeper end of the night. Driving low-end, sharp synth stabs, and a vocal that lands somewhere between a question and a confession. Powerful sounds. Weighted arrangement. Bittersweet throughout. The track answers with what it can, but leaves things open. It's the first piece of a larger story JYDN is only beginning to tell. Years of touring, travelling, shifting, and settling, written into music that's been waiting for the right moment to land. The door is open, and there's plenty more where this came from.

    Solstice

    Common Tribe , Ish Anja

    Beatport Hype

Melbournes techno scene comes together with the Solstice EP — four tracks from Common Tribe and Ish Anja, plus a remix from Lost Memories, blending solid dancefloor energy, hypnotic flow, and distinctive vocal work. Common Tribe, made up of Peter & David, have built their sound around a flexible approach to techno, shifting between darker, driving cuts and brighter, melodic moments, always focused on movement and connection on the dancefloor. Ish Anja brings her own style — emotive melodies, heavy kicks, and vocals that add character and depth. A consistent presence in Melbournes clubs, she has supported artists such as Claudio PRC, Christian Smith, Tensal, Eric Powell, and Township Rebellion, refining her sound both as a DJ and producer. The EP opens with Solstice, an abstract, broken-beat introduction that evolves into a rolling, peak-time techno cut with uplifting tension. Backwards follows with a moodier, hypnotic groove that builds with patience and detail. Fraction adds a brighter, melodic edge, perfect for late-night sets, before Lost Memories closes the release with a high-energy rework built for maximum impact. Solstice captures four Melbourne-based artists combining their strengths with detailed production, strong grooves and tracks designed to connect with the crowd.
