Fresh from Barcelona, artist and sound designer Anna A.Fruit graces the label with a remix of fan favourite 'Cartouche', originally released on the Over Sun EP. Known for her deft command of the 160 spectrum, she keeps the pulse taut while letting the structure breathe. Rhythms are stripped back and functional, sidestepping convention in favour of something more direct and slightly askew. The dubby DNA remains, tightened and refracted through her own 160 logic, grooves snapping into more angular shapes without losing their sense of weight or space. Less a dramatic overhaul than a careful reconditioning, A.Fruit dismantles 'Cartouche' and puts it back together with an unorthodox hand.
