Some of you may have heard the name Mark Tammo before, particularly if youre a fan of progressive breaks, which is synonymous with the UK producers usual style - one in which he excels at threading intricate sounds alongside nostalgic rave feeling. However, hes made a notable departure for his Keep Thinking debut with two chunky, uplifting 4x4 numbers. Scupperbolt leads the charge, balancing the business end of groove with the uplifting delicacies of sweeping vocal-like synths and lush pads. Drafter feels like Marks antidote to the former, dropping straight into the fray with a thick low end, bouncing rhythm and acidic leads. Watch out for the tear-down and subsequent emotive re-build on this. Coming out of left-field? Maybe.... Tune? Absolutely.
