Bringing his own interpretation and weight to the original, Droplex adds another dimension to the release and reinforces the dark, driving energy at its core. After many years of making music in completely different directions, the two brothers Paul and Eddi have finally joined forces, merging two musical approaches into something neither of them had explored before. Eddi's sound is rooted in driving techno, while Paul's moves between melodic house, breakbeats and electronica. Bringing these worlds together has resulted in two tracks that don't simply sit somewhere in between, but form something of their own. "Bronto" and "Chrigis Synth" are capturing and driving, yet melodic, emotional and slightly cinematic. There's a certain tension to them, familiar elements placed in unfamiliar surroundings, creating a sound that feels both spontaneous and carefully shaped. Thomas Klipps' journey into techno began behind the decks. Starting out as a DJ, he quickly developed an instinct for the energy, tension, and movement that define a great dancefloor moment. That instinct eventually led him from playing records to creating his own - opening the door to a new chapter as a producer. Based in Germany, Thomas has since carved out his own place within the techno landscape, releasing on respected labels including Phobos, Mothr, Music4Aliens, and many more. His productions reflect the same drive that shaped his DJ roots: focused, powerful, and built with the dancefloor in mind. In 2026, Thomas reached out to Ibogatech, setting the stage for what would become a natural meeting of sounds and ideas. Recognizing the potential for something special, Michael Banel saw an opportunity to collaborate and bring Thomas into the Ibogatech family. The result marks the beginning of a new chapter. Thomas Klipps' debut release on Ibogatech is set to arrive on October 12th, introducing his sound to the label and marking the start of what promises to be an exciting relation.
