Do you know that feeling when you open up a brand new book from your favorite writer, and it still smells like brand new, the pages still have this special grip and every time you turn a page it feels like you open up the door to a brand new chapter and you can't wait how the story goes on? This new 3 track EP by our in-house star NORA EN PURE did give us the same feelings when we skipped through the 7 demo tracks from which we picked those 3 tracks to make them an EP. The extended play goes by the name of LAKE ARROWHEAD which is also the title track and, if you are living in California, you might know that it is also a beautiful place located in the north of the San Bernardino county in Los Angeles. The track convinces with beautiful piano melodies, pumping and clubby beat patterns and gorgeous breakdown textures that tease with great intense into the epic drops. Daniela aka Nora En Pure originally comes from South Africa, and one of her favorite countries on the African continent is ZAMBIA, and so it comes as no surprise she named the second track of the EP after this great country. Get enchanted with summerish analog synth melodies, balearic percussion loops and this drops that her friend EDX commented with the words "OMG this really dropsss". The third track on the EP is another collab with the shooting stars from SONS OF MARIA: SLEEPING IN MY BED is a touchy deep house gem with smooth beats, some great down-pitched vocal chops and lovely piano chord progressions.
