The producer-duo describes "Fusion" as logical progression in Drum'n Bass with all its different opportunities to express the genre and fuse it with other genres (House, Dub, Jazz, Latin, Brazil, Hip Hop or Soul music) as the name of the album implies. All these elements together form a completely new integrated whole, an identity influenced by Drum 'n Bass and urban leftfield club music. The red line is "Fusion", but "Fusion" is more. The name stands for flexibility, deepness, old and new influences, for state of the art big city music with plenty of drums, breaks, groove and harmony. Almost similar to a Fauna Flash DJ Set, the record draws a tremendous curve, it sends you on a journey through all sorts of moods. but in the end it all results in one harmonic picture.
This is strictly HipHop in parts with ragga-flavour, rare groove and funky street elements! Based in Germany (Nurnberg / Munchen) the players are Free Justice, an English MC from Paramount California- Formerly of G.S.P. (Ghetto Style Poets), Cee Justice, Now B, one of the english style MCs from Belle Glades Florida and DJ Jazzz. In 1994 / 95, Jazzz was Bavarian DJ-Champion and in fact he is Moodorama on Stereo Deluxe. Definitely something you can hand down to your grandchildren. The German funk connection is clearly finger on the pulse as this rap ensembles grooves come at us most seriously blunted across the majority of this six track affair...the shining star is worth reaching for and that is 'let'em know', which boats a fine ensemble rap and some serious low down funk splattered with cool and jazzy keyboard touches Blues Soul...Worth searching for Jazid, 4/ 96
