Reto Erni joins the family with the You Know EP. Swiss DJ/producer Reto Erni broke onto the global scene in 2019 with a series of releases on Framed Realities, a label he started with friends, Squep and Christian Schiemann. A regular on the local circuit, hes well loved by the Zurich clubbing community for his intricate, well designed sets. Now signed to some strong international imprints including Acker Dub, Reto is just beginning the next phase of his inevitable world domination. Opening with Floats, snappy percussion and a low-slung bass set the scene perfectly. Deep stabs and spoken vocals complete the vibe which grooves with consummate ease. Warm and creative with a hint of nostalgia. Next up, Fly takes things a little deeper. Bouncy sonics and a rubbery bassline make the perfect backdrop for male spoken vocals and a chunky, deep 1am crossover groove. Finally, title track, You Know rounds out a deeply satisfying debut with class. Building slowly, sparse percussions and earworm arps grow into an hypnotic vibe that floats around you, broken only by cut up male vocal shots. A masterpiece of less is more and a mesmeric way to introduce an astounding new voice in dance music.
