EP named after the ancient philosophical concept of the World Soul, Anima Mundi, explores the invisible threads that connect people, cultures and nature. Each composition is rooted in a different landscape and tradition, yet all share the same intention: to celebrate the invisible connections that unite people, cultures and the living world. Most of Anima Mundi was created in Coyara's studio in Germany, where he combines field recordings, organic percussion, found sounds, filtered synthesizers and carefully selected samples. Some of the sounds were recorded by him, while others were shared by travellers, artists and sound recordists. Khwan - Inspired by the Sou Khwan ceremony, this piece reflects the tradition of gathering to restore harmony, offer blessings, and honour the invisible essence that connects us. Blending organic textures and downtempo grooves with a strong emphasis on organic rhythms and a traditional Lao chant, the track celebrates the power of community. Munay - Inspired by the Quechua concept of Munay, the power of love, this piece is an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and remember what truly matters. Through organic rhythms, voices and natural textures, the music reflects the quiet healing that emerges when we return to ourselves, to one another, and to the living world. Iwami - inspired by the ancient Japanese poem The Sea of Iwami, the track unfolds like a drifting landscape where poetry, sound and memory become one.
