Big Miz returns to storied Manchester based imprint Dansu Discs by way of a weighty five track EP titled 'Heartfelt Nonsense'. The EP kicks off with 'Glass In My Hand' in collaboration with Bemz. A deep house tinged, groove laden beat accented with hip hop vocals it sets the mood for an EP loaded with four to the floor goodness. Titled the Voodoo EP - the record kicks things off with 'Changes' a bouncy acid tinged four/four slammer - Jentzen meticulously pairs a robust house beat with a standout vocal element creating an unexpected yet harmonious combination. Following this is the EP's title track, 'Voodoo.' Once more, Jentzen demonstrates mastery in manipulating the vocal hook, seamlessly shaping and guiding the entire record with an irresistibly infectious beat driving underneath. 'How I Do It' is a perfect example of a no-frills middle of the night party track - no need for edgy descriptions, this one speaks for itself. Rounding out the EP is 'Feeling Connected' featuring the trippy vocals of Lourene - deceivingly dark the track entices with hints of nostalgia, evoking the essence of a grouchy 00s tech-house treasure.

Dansu Discs presents their third release of 2024 with exciting up and comer MKII's second release on the imprint. The 'On Your Own' EP is a break neck 4 tracker borrowing elements from the fundamental strands of club music from hardcore and jungle to piano and diva house. 'My Mind' opens up the release as it means to go on; fast paced euphoria driven by classic piano keys and vocal samples topped off with a bass bin shaking switch up mid way through. 'No More' and 'On Your Own' bring with them more piano goodness driven by breaks, bass and pitched up vocals, albeit each with their own unique charm, definitely more on an emotive tip. 'To Be Free' is the perfect closer with its 4/4 groove and slightly slower pace, wrapping up an impressive second Dansu Discs showing for MKII.
